We have successfully made it through week 5. The Runtz genetics continue to show strong growthโthis plant literally grows before your eyes every day. As soon as some shoots are removed, the plant starts developing even more vigorously.
The only one that seems a bit neglected is the third plant in the last row. This week, Iโll try to weave the main shoots into the net more effectively. I suspect that due to the varying plant sizes, itโs not getting enough light.
None of the three plants have shown any pistils yet, which I personally think is a good sign, as it allows them to focus on growing in height and width first. There are still slight mineral deficiencies visible in the leaves, but I am counteracting this by increasing fertilizer and using foliar spray.

Why hello, if you are still here thank you for the love & support. I cant believe we are already on the start to week 3 of bloom!
This lady here has been streching the last 2 weeks! During the first week of bloom I gave her nutrients with both bloom a & b as well with bud candy! Then water in betwen watering. Shes been needing watered everyday in this 10 Gallon pot! So im very careful with the nutrients and keeping a close eye on her! Ive also used dried coconut powder with irrarated, ph balanced water. To help the roots absorb the nutrients and really up take!
Im beyond ready to see what week 3 brings us! Ive been behind on defoilation only taking about 3 to 5 leafs a day just to try to get other coals light!

Well CDG#4 had gotten so bushy it was messing up the netting and it was getting very hard to tuck due to all the growth.
So I had planned on doing the 1st major defoliation a week after I flip but decided to do it early or risk something happening to my girl. So I did it Thursday night after Thanksgiving dinner. Damn did she protest the next few days. It's Sunday night and she has bounced back 200%. Just like they like to do.
So flipping her to flower tonight. Nov 27th. Just replaced her water with the flower nutes.
Also go my new cogs and parts in so I finished the light upgrade. It's pvc & alum. Angle so it's super ghetto. But it works and works awesome. 376 watts on high. Measured at the outlet. 8 citizen1048 cogs 3500 full spectrum. These have huge as heat fins. And at $18 each fin it's by far the most expensive part of the build. I've got 8 of them.

Some mild defoliation this week. Budding up nicely and starting to frost. This girl was having a foliar feed of algae last week but this week she's getting light foliar sprays of the Lacalva stress treatment from madame grow on top of her other feed. I'll do this every 2/3 mornings and I'll only lightly mist the top. I'll concentrate most of my foliar feed on the lower growth and undersides, away from the buds. This is the main reason I kept so many lower fan leaves this time.

Nov. 6 - Week 5 begins. I am seeing calyx in a few spots so I expect pistils at any moment. Her smell is also starting to develop and I suspect she'll be a real stinker in the near future.
Nov. 11 - It is not doing good but is still growing.
Nov. 12 - I moved her to the 3'x3' I considered putting King Tut in, with some better light. I also removed 6 or 8 fan leaves from the main stalk and almost took off some lower branches but decided against doing so.

As soon as the first hairs appear, there is a light mixture of blossom fertilizer for the first time.
Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each

This week went ok, but I did break two of the four tops early in the week. They have both recovered but it slowed me down a few days. I got the final four toppings done today on day 49, so I will probably give them two or three weeks and see where they're at, and hopefully be about ready to flip to flower. Not much left to do from here, just a little LST on the 8 tops to spread them out, and then just sit back and watch them grow. Thanks for stopping by, be safe and Blaze On!

Feeding max recomended strength H&G soil A&B and they are loving it. Buds are swelling now and trichomes are more visable .

White LSD is growing slowly at ยฝ inch this week and is 2 inches tall now. Because I have iridium and copper in the water, the ph meter fluctuates due to breaking bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen. The fluctuation range I see is between 6.4 and 6.9 so Iโm reporting 6.6 as the ph for the water. So far, I donโt see any negative effects of the iridium & copper on the plant.
The soil base is Happy frog, Coast of Maine, Mushroom Compost and super soil. Iโm giving only water to her for this grow. I gave 1 liter of ph 6.6 PPM 376 at 66.7f twice this week

A lot going on this week!! Feeding 3 quarts every Sunday and Wednesday at this point. I did a light defoliation on Monday and did a more thorough defoliation on Friday! I opened up a lot of bud sights and it shows in the pics from late in the week!!
I just turned the fan and carbon filter on. Temps are currently holding at 73-74F and the humidity is between 43-45%. I'm very happy with that!
I hope to keep them both happy!!
