Harvest day 67 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Daaaayum hot week last week, worried about 2 plants showing some wierd main buds, but it’s hopefully the heat. Smell is pretty nice and got some juicy fruits growing on them trees! ❤️

Week 10 and just finished up week 4 of flower. Girls filled in nicely this week and are really starting to frost. The smell is sweet almost berry like. Definitely have some nice sized colas forming. Excited to see if they keep their sweet smell at harvest.

Woche 10 ist gelaufen.... Es ist nicht viel passiert. Sie reift langsam vor sich hin. Die Trichome sind mir aber alle noch zu glasig, deswegen heißt es weiter warten und beobachten. Geruch ist mittlerweile "Normal Stark" und geht richtung Floraler Keksteig.

The buds and trichimes are developing nicely. The defoliation didn't harm them at all. The plants are starting to get really thirsty so I'm giving bigger amounts of water. 10 liters at the moment.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. In the third week of the cannabis flowering stage, I have been working to reduce deficiencies. I used PK 13-14 for the first time at a very low dose. Humidity is consistently at 55%, temperature is maintained between 23-24 degrees Celsius, and I am following a 12-hour light/dark cycle. 🔄 I welcome any tips!

This will be a bit of a challenge, one of the LCC is 45cm while the others are 25cm. I gave them little ramps to keep canopy even and all 3 are still looking healthy.

1/26: Honestly, this plant is just living it's best life outside of the tent. She's proving to be resilient. Unsure what's happening with the leaves...I'll be doing some research on that. Watered with pH balanced water, but will be considering nutrients, pending the aforementioned research. 1/29: Vegetative growth is exploding! So far she's been an absolute joy to grow. I do believe that I'm seeing some signs of pre-flowering, which is super exciting! Gave her a solid watering/light nutritients and moved her back into the tent for a more favorable light situation. She requires significant leaf tucking...some of the fan leaves are gigantic and they're blocking a lot of the lower potential lower bud sites. Looking forward to what's to come!

The single plant of BADAZZ from RIPPER SEEDS harvested a very good amount of 67 gram of dried bud. The buds were not very big, but insanely frost and dense, she was the SECOND BEST YIELDER in the HOMEBOX tent. A VERY DANK VARIETY! She reeks of KUSH and also tastes like it when smoke a very fully, gassy aroma and taste, VERY DELICIOUS!
