Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! The buds weren’t the biggest I’ve grown, but this is hands down one of the stickiest strains I’ve ever cultivated. They’re absolutely drenched in trichomes and have a dense, heavy structure. This run produced two distinct phenos: the middle plant had a more indica-like structure with chunky, compact buds, while the others leaned toward a sativa-dominant, airier build. One of the highlights of this grow was the range of colors the plants showed off during flowering—super eye-catching. Trimming was a breeze too, thanks to a nice balance of sugar leaves that made the job quick and clean compared to some other strains. I’m storing the buds in a stainless steel, airtight container without using Boveda or similar humidity packs. Thanks to the DryFerm bags, the humidity has been holding steady at 61% RH, so there’s no need for extra regulation.

week 11 75 days according to the breeder this strain has 7-8 weeks of flowering. with the possible stress that the plant has suffered maybe it has slowed down its growth a little. but since I'm not impatient and I have time is not a problem. I like to let it mature on point so I let it roll for another three weeks. As for the sample I took a week before... it was on a good track. I could already feel some notes and aroma but deep down. very heavy and harsh smoke, to remember that there was no flush or cure, just dry. Now its waiting for the whole plant dry. 🤞🙏

Estas niñas dieron un “estirón” bien bueno. Después de que empezamos a subir la dosis de alimento se noto el crecimiento vegetal más acelerado. Además aplicamos king crab ( bacterias de greatwithemyco) para potenciar el desarrollo de raíces ! Y se nota 👌🏻 Ya están con un pan de raíces bien fuertes por lo tanto, se van de trasplante a maceta de 7L.

Next time Im getting a bigger tent. Its an absolute bastard to get to anything underneath or at the back at the moment, but she seems to be bulking up. Just noticed a tiny brand new sprout right at the base of the plant. Dunno if I should chop or let nature find its way! 25/10 - 10l water top up.

French Macaron hit peak purple and trichs are all ready to roll. Chem Brulee smelling amazing and packing on weight. Pineapple Meatball remainders have now started going DEEP purple. Could end up with a few head stash nugs off of this late harvest.

So this lady probably could co one more week as I’m getting that second round push of fox tails and more white pistols, but she is also about 10% amber 10% clear and the rest cloudy. I chopped her as these buds are FREAKIN MASSIVE and it’s getting pretty humid in the basement (even with the dehu running 24/7). So I’m chopping a little early to be on the safe side! The speed and quality is amazing! Im super impressed with these fast flowering ladies! I will have to pop more really soon! Smoke and dry weight in a week! ✌️🏻💚

Update week 4 Bloom

2-3 buds were moldy so i had to cut them hope it doesnt spread further😳 to be honest i havent seen more beautiful flower than this purple one❤️

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was a good week for the Strawberry Banana Auto, she was pushing her 7th node on day 26 so I gently removed the top, and I also removed the lowermost 2 nodes so I will have nodes 3, 4, 5, and 6 to work with. She got a little sad immediately after topping, but when the lights came back on after 6 hours of dark she was perked right back up and I immediately started LST to try and develop an even canopy. She is still feeding 4 times per day on Silica, CalMag, and GH maxi gro veg nutes. This light is an absolute beast, I now have it cranked up to 50% in the V1 stage, and it continues to keep everything green and more importantly with tight internode spacing. I will continue to LST for a few more weeks and transition her to flower nutrients once her vertical grow stops on its own or if I need it to stop due to height constraints.
