August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

Daily report: Day 1. Watering: NO Notes: I am concerned that I've got a photoperiodic strain, not an autoflower. Day 2. Watering: Morning: 5.8 pH 1030 ppm (4.0 l 0.75% of Base + CalMag) => 6.0 pH 2120 ppm (0.65 l) Notes: I set up a 12/12 light schedule. I want Heracles to blow. Day 3. Watering: Night: 5.8 pH 1210 ppm (4.5 l + CalMag) => 6.0 pH 2160 ppm (0.75 l) Notes: Since today I'll feed Heracles according to the bloom feeding schedule. I forget to take a photo of Day 46, sorry. Day 4. Watering: NO Notes: I hope that it is a beginning of blooming. Day 5. Watering: Morning: 5.9 pH 1160 ppm (4.0 l + CalMag) => 6.0 pH 2400 ppm (1.25 l) Day 6. Aug 1: looking healthy and still growing fast. Was an 8 cola manifold but she lost 1 or 2 to direct hail stone hits a few weeks ago today. Now recovered and starting to flower strongly. I’m doing 10 h in dark garage plus 2 bonus hours from use of a 730 nm far red light to create 12 h darkness in a ‘26 h’ day. Great trick if you have daily access but it has to be done daily at the right time according to your latitude. Had hail net on the plants for an hour. Brief hard rain but no hail this time. Radar maps on the weather app are very useful sometimes.

Week 10 their wasn’t any real changes. Girl #1 starting to gain more weight. Her smell is also increasing. She smells like citrus/ pineapples undertones. Girl #2 still hasn’t shown any flowering. It’s been 70 days and I’m starting to get worried. I’m gonna let her go until girl #1 finishes than I will start to panic. I fear she may be a 100 day to flower pheno . If nothing changes in the coming weeks I may treat her like a photo or just get rid of her !? Thank you for viewing my diary.

Hi, good fellows!💚 🌱Day 72. Watering with 3.1L 6.7ph 150ppm clear water. Run off water get 90ml 6.7ph 300ppm. Leaves more indicates nutrients deficiency.💚 🌱Day 74. Watering with 3.5L 6.4ph 150ppm clear water. Run off water get 165ml 6.5ph 300ppm.💚 🌱Day 75. Due to mistake, because some time too high🤣💚, watering with 2.5L 6.4ph 150ppm clear water one day earlier. 😂💚 Run off water get 165ml 6.1ph 400ppm. Add some video.💚

Day 72: Welcome to week 11. Today I realized some more damaged leafs. I'm not sure, what it is. I've to ask here, now. But as I saw this and also, that the EC within the soil is increasing, I was thinking, that she is not able to consume the nutrients correctly. I checked my PH meter and I calibrated it wrong last week 🙈 So she got the wrong PH for about 2 days. I hope with the corrected PH, she is able to take the nutrients again. UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who answered my question. I have done 2 things now. I lowered the level of the LEDs to 7 in AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro to give less intensity to the upper colas. Secondly, I added some CalMag to the reservoir. I also added some distilled water to adjust the EC level and then checked the PH level. Day 73: For now, it does not look worse to me. I refilled the reservoir and adjusted the PH. I increased the CalMag Agent from 0.6 to 1.5 ml/L. Day 74: I checked again the symptoms and as I was feeding the PK booster to long, I strongly have to assume, that the CalMag issues she is showing, are the symptoms of too much PK for a too long time. I decided to clear the reservoir completely and added only a bit of CalMag to plain water and adjusted the PH. Day 75: Today I got a new and more reliable PH meter. It turned out, that the other one was still calibrated wrong and with that information, I assume it is a combination of the wrong PH for days and too much PK for too long. So, I'm happy, with my decision so far. Next time, I'll have to make a note, wenn to stop with the PK boosters ☺️ Learnings over learnings. Day 76: Today I was able to take some photos and also a video, to show how she looks now. Not too bad and I also checked the trichomes the first time today. It's looks like she is almost ready to harvest. I was aiming week 13 and with that tiny mistake, I guess she is ready someday next week (sorry, for the bad photo of the trichomes, I was not able to get a better one 🙈). I cleaned the reservoir and filled it with plain water @ 6.4. Day 77: End of the week and I want to share with you some buds of this monster. Trichomes looking good and I wait for my personal taste to be reached. -------------------------------------------------------------- You also like to get some seeds from Fast Buds? The plants are doing really good! I made a first light defoliation beginning of the week and continued the LST day by day. So far I broke no branch. I planned to switch to 12h/12h schedule beginning of next week but the plants grew too big already so I decided to switch a bit earlier. Plants heights at the end of the week : ------------------------------------------- Gorilla Cookies : 40cm Purple Lemonade : 32cm Wedding Cheesecake : 44cm

Absolutely love this cultivar, make sure you have adequate ventilation as these buds are very resinous and dense. It was a very nice plant to grow even though it was small in structure made up for the weight in the buds

Second to last week started. Those damn gnats came back although I thought I had fought them. But I’m not to worried at this point. Put a few more yellow cards up and that should maintain the number low to none. Smell is great. And it really is sticky icky. Trichome coverage and density is very strong. Those are remarkably long trichomes. I’m excited how the bubble hash from the trim will turn out. Fingers double-u'd to not have happen anything bad in the final two weeks now.

🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸 – Mother Gorilla – Vegetative Stage – Week 4 The plant has recovered from last week’s defoliation, although I have noticed a slight decrease in its vigor. I believe this is normal, but it’s still progressing and growing. Environmental Conditions • Humidity: 70% • Temperature: ~78.8°F • pH Level: Still between 5.8 and 6.2; it had slightly increased, so I adjusted it back down to 5.8 • VPD: Still between 0.4 and 0.8, which is fine Most of the heavy work was done last week, so this week has been more about maintaining progress. I’m continuing to train the plant using the SCROG method, carefully tucking branches underneath the net whenever possible. I also did a light defoliation to maximize light penetration for the new developing branches that are forming new growth sites. I’m still waiting for my new nutrients, which should arrive this week. That means I’ll finally be able to switch to a proper nutrient solution. So far, I’ve only been using Formulex, which has worked fine, but I believe it’s now time to transition to proper vegetative nutrients. Regarding the roots, they still seem to be developing well (secondary rootlets). For now, everything is going smoothly. The plant has recovered from defoliation and, most importantly, from topping. I will continue training it carefully, and we’ll see how it evolves over the coming week. Looking forward to next week—we’ll keep a close eye on the progress. See you next week! 🤘😎

Day 43-49 A lot of them are showing signs of going into bloom. Doing their stretch before bloom, so they need more nitrogen before they're done stretching. My own unbiased opinions about deep water culture.I love it.It's got the precision I need and control. If you like something more relaxed, living soil is your thing, but this is mine.I'm enjoying it.Everything's growing people have already done the research.I just gotta apply it.

I gave them a root wash; I will continue watering with plain water until the end with a pH of 6.5, some waterings with 1L and others with 1.5L... everything is wonderful.👌
