She popped up a couple of days ago (check the timelapse) so I'm calling this week 1. I've put lots of perlite in her soil this time around, last couple of grows, as a test, did not have perlite and I noticed the soil was really firm and compact. Also it didn't drain very well at all. Hopefully the addition of perlite will fix this.

Week 4 at this point it's was going nicely but them brain box here got the bright idea to bend the main stem over and didn't do me or her any good

After super cropping plant responded very well, growing faster and stronger. This is my first time using this technique and it is the bestest way I found to have a nice looking yield

The wedding cake is going into full flower this week. She is beginning to show trichomes and is smelling nice, not too loud...but definitely an earthy noticeable scent that eases into the entire room after i open the tent. Candles alone are helping with that, although the smell is removed once in the tent. She is smashed up on the sides because she is sharing a tent with 2 other autos and they are all big bushy phenotypes. The wedding cakes is the youngest in flower between the 3; yet she is maturing the fastest and will obviously be harvested first. Absolutely no deficiencies and everyday she is swelling a bit. It is truely a pleasure to watch.

Welcome back to Colorado Gnome Grown. This week the gnome’s have been busy with the irrigation system. The water is stored in a 5g container and I mix the feed in it and it gets feed every time I water, which is twice a day for 1 minute, or until the plants drip. The plants are setting on a rack so that the water can drain away from the plant and into a tray. The plan is to buy Big Buds the first of the month to keep on hand to finish up in 4 weeks. Cookie Monster is 4in today and Noel is 2in, and both are starting to grow their bud site. Next week I will Top and defoliate for the first time. Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Week 10 Day 7 of flowering. 09/28: Well we are fully into flowering. Bethany is currently on her stretch. It seems to be slowing down. The gray spots ended up being some kind of deficiency. The spots ended up rusting, but as of late no new leaves have any damage caused by a deficiency. A few of the lower leaves where little light reaches have turned yellow. I gave her first feeding with Kool Bloom. Looking at mid-November for harvest. I can’t wait! 09/30: A little yellowing on the new leaves. EC levels in runoff were way too high. I waited a little too long before the last watering, so I’m sure we had some salt build up. Now that she’s bigger I’m going to water her more frequently. I also noticed some lower growth that was definitely not going to make it due to lack of light, so I decided to try out some cloning. I took two cuttings and placed them in plain bottled water to try and form some roots. Since she’s an autoflower and is currently in bloom, I’m not expecting much. But we’ll see.

01/27/25. Welcome to the start of week 4. Well, fatso is doing great now. She’s perky and happy.. AND she’s darkened up quite a bit. No more pale girl. She was just a hungry little hippo 😸😸 She was just watered yesterday, slowly, until a bit of run off. I’ve upped her food to 2.5 across 3 parts, as well as upped calmag (1) and silica (2). I pulled a dip shit move and left my measuring tape in the flower tent and it’s lights off, so I’ll have to come back tomorrow to update that. She’s at 4 nodes and as soon as she’s got 5 I’ll be topping her. Update: 1/29/25 got measurement updated and watered with food. 1/31/25- topped and plain watered and added picture/video Thanks for lookin. ✌️

A few more days left before I start to harvest my plants. For now I'm going to start with the two on the left and work my way around to the plant that's still in reveg, shooting heads like crazy for some reason. Smells amazing and the stickyness is out of this world. Much love ❤️🍀

July 16th - Fed the plant 2 gallons over the Morning. (see last weeks menu, rain prevented its use) Next meal posted above - real growth on this sucker as it fills out nicely. Well, only the ends of the branchs really. But its hapnin - 2 days without Rain, it was Time to feed this guy before the next storm rolls in. Getting slammed with rain here in Southern Ontario. Moisture meter was at least on-scale and Left of middle = GO 17th - plant looks great as we head towards Flower. One more regular feed, around mid-week, with close to maximum Veg food. Then I’m going to introduce a little Bloom Nutrient into the mix next week. Feed the transition so to speak. ( I’m also talking a 25% bloom dose to start, in the reg veg mix ) All the action, Its right around the corner - Foliar spray tonight July 20th, - the weather is going to let me feed Jack this morning. Her last 100% meal of Veg Nutes. ***That was my plan till I saw all the activity on the ends of my branches. I have added a small taste of Bloom nutes to this meal today! - 3 gallons over a 4 hour period and the goal is to let Jack dry out after this feed ~ 4-5 days would be ideal. - Might even be seen as a little nutrient Push… 22nd - finishing the week strong with a couple days of Sunshine. When i arrived i saw that lady twos cage had fell right over her... So some lower branches broke in half.. i tryed to fix it but whatever.. and i took away all the yellow leaves. There's a slight smell of a cheese bud. Only got about 0.6 ounce bud can improve on that with better LST. I have a lack of pictures because it has been smoked. 😃

This week completes the first week of flower for unknown. Stretched a little bit and I assume there will be more so, I’m continuing to weave her through the net for middle and final stretch. This also starts a new 3 week nute feed (thanks to dr earth 👏👏) so honestly I’m just continuing to lower humidity and slow rolling it. The wwa however is coming along quite well I might say. The main issue if any at all has been low ph and I’ve been watering with higher ph to correct that but, she’s been stretching and doing her own thing. Really wish I would’ve waited to see her full potential under better lighting and time but, this is a first grow (also excuse 😏) and I’m honestly more excited to get the first grow under the belt, rather than maximum yield (though max would be nice 😎) hopefully next time… Thanks for stopping by this week ✌️.

This week went well. The Jelly Rancher plant was getting big enough to move to a bigger pot (1 gallon fabric pot). It may have been able to stay in the Jiffy Pot a little longer but figured I'd get it done with a few others I was transplanting. The roots looked great, the plant seemed nice and strong.

I did a bit more defoliation and spread out the SCROG net to give everything some more structure and space. The plants are developing beautifully and looking really healthy overall. The cuttings are also making progress, with some of them already starting to develop roots. For now, I gave them another round of foliar feeding, and soon it will be time to move on to the next phase and switch them into flower. Overall, everything is looking very promising.
