Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos, y también, a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾 PROBLEMAS: ayer detecté alrededor y dentro de la cáscara de la semilla ácaros, sólo en esta maceta, espolvoreé tierra de diatomeas, pero reconocí los síntomas, hoy había más bichos comiéndose el brote y ya lo habían desprendido del minúsculo tallo, me ha ocurrido otras veces y no me gusta, es un síntoma claro de semillas viejas o mal almacenadas. He quitado la semilla y el sustrato alrededor, he revisado con lupa el sustrato superior y he puesto otra semilla a germinar, he actualizado la fecha de germinación, ya veremos que pasa. ROYAL PURPLE KUSH, sativa dominante de altura corta y puede que aporte algún color a la temporada. El crecimiento vegetativo es vigoroso y permite una infraestructura abundante, lo que da como resultado múltiples colas "castillo" grandes, fragantes e incrustadas de THC. El distintivo sabor dulce de la madre Black Afghani se ve realzado por los sabores picantes y frutales del padre Bubba Kush Kush, lo que le da a Royal Purple Kush un sabor complejo y de otro mundo que debe experimentarse. El subidón es bien equilibrado, a la vez enérgico y sereno... viva sativa!! ===================================================================== Comienzo la temporada de cultivos de primavera/verano, con la mismas ganas y emoción de siempre, muchas sativas dominantes para aprovechar el fantástico sol de primavera durante toda la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo, cultivaré en modo mixto interior/exterior hasta la floración, procuraré que las plantas tengan la mayor cantidad de horas de luz posible y como voy a tener que mover mucho las macetas del interior al exterior, voy a cultivar en macetas de 10L para no partirme la espalda. También voy a estrenar tres nuevos Bio Fermentados Solubles basados en Microorganismos de Montaña (MM) y Pasto Fermentado para crecimiento vegetativo y otros dos para floración y que están en fermentación anaeróbica desde el 18/06/22, también otros hidrolizados enzimáticos de aminoácidos e hidrolizados potásicos complejos de ácidos húmicos y fúlvicos con minerales, conforme los vaya abriendo hablaré sobre ellos... pero aviso, esta temporada voy a muerte, sin piedad, quiero experimentar hasta donde puedo llegar con alimentación forzada en macetas, no busco amigos, busco cultivos descomunales para llenar mi saco de marihuana... He preparado un sustrato ligero, bien aireado, con perlita, fibra de coco, bocashi de algas, Biochar con MM y humus de lombriz; lo puse en macetas de tela de 0.45L (7x12cm) porque quiero trasplantar cuanto antes a la maceta definitiva. Hice una mezcla de riego para humedecer todo el sustrato: Agua de manantial de montaña con miel natural de brezo (azúcares, enzimas, minerales, vitaminas...), auxinas caseras de frijol negro (hormonas, enraizante) y 1% de mi Bio Mix para crecimiento vegetativo con Microorganismos Eficientes (EM), minerales y nutrientes básicos, con esta mezcla comienzo la inoculación de microbiología al sustrato, la miel es un excelente enraizante y aporta energía a los Microorganismos para que se propaguen... a continuación elegí la semilla más bonita y la enterré en el sustrato y se dejó ver a los 9 días, las bajas temperaturas retrasaron la germinación de todas las semillas de esta temporada, pero todas han germinado! Al principio, encapsulo las macetas para mantener la humedad muy alta en la maceta y favorecer así la germinación, mantengo el encapsulado hasta que la plántula se ha desprendido totalmente de la cáscara de la semilla. Después de 24h he comenzado a exponerla a la luz, durante la noche bajo la luz de la lampara Vipar P1000 al 20% de potencia (20w) y a unos 15cm de las macetas, por el día cerca de una ventana, evitando el sol directo... todo por la causa! 🖐️👨‍🌾😁 Hasta la próxima... Hello fellow growers! 🌱 Despite a few bumps along the way, I'm thrilled to share that my contest journey is officially underway. After some delivery hiccups with the controller, the third attempt was the charm – it finally made it to my doorstep! 🚚💨 The initial excitement hit a snag when I faced issues connecting the controller. 🤔 Thankfully, the fantastic support team guided me through the troubleshooting process, and voila! 🛠️ My controller is now up and running smoothly. As I eagerly await the next stages, I haven't ventured into using the light adapter just yet. Stay tuned for updates on my growing adventure! 🌿

14.1.25: I've been readjusting the LST. I just took all the pegs out and reshaped her. I got some new LST equipment in the mail today, have been glad to have more pegs. I got some clips too, but they don't seem to stay on 😕 I'm currently only using the pegs, I have some thicker soft wire, but I forgot I don't have pliers to cut it! Also I'm running very low on Biobizz nutrients, so that could be bad 🤞 18.1.25: I have done another large defoliation on PPP1 and PPP2. Also, moderate defoliation on all other plants today. All LST ties and pegs are readjusted. I have turned up the light to 90%. Same distance of between 24-28 inches, depending on height of specific plant. I have increased the dosage of Biobizz Bio-Grow and Fish Mix to give an extra boost of Nitrogen as several plants were showing yellowing. They have responded very well to this. Unfortunately I ran out of my Biobizz nutrients and PH UP. I'm currently using Bicarbonate of Soda to increase the PH after the nutes PH comes out to about 4.1. Obviously, that uses a lot and I only had a 250ml bottle, which I used last run too. This run I have 9 plants. The only thing I'm worried about is the salt build up. Have you used it before? Or any other natural way to increase PH? Please let me know! I've also added Biobizz Fish Mix to help with the extra Nitrogen needed. Watering with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients;- ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish. I water with this every 3 days. I did order some more Biobizz Bio-Grow and Bio Bloom. I found some at a reasonable price on Amazon. I still have about 800 ml of Biobizz Fish Mix left, too. It is fairly expensive this time as the plants are hungrier this run. I also got a new bag of Canna coco, which I may use to add a top dress with some dry amendments. Which hopefully will save some cash on the bottled nutrients and stretch out until the end of this run without having to buy anymore. I have purchased a funnel to pour the water. It is difficult, due to the shape of my LST, to water precisely. I have spilt it all over the tent several times 🙄 I've also ordered a 2 litre jug. Currently, I'm mixing water for 9 plants individually in a 1 litre jug. It's tideous. Hopefully, this will solve the issues. "oh, this works, well it did work, maybe if I do this, that seems to help, well shit, that didn't work, uh oh, its getting hot, I got it!... and done. - temps start to climb into the 90s - " oh shit, oh shit!, Its not working anymore, I guess 90 degrees inside the tent is better than being in the 100s.... think, think, think, 😲 I got it!... annnd done👌! Its working. The temp at the time of writing this is... 73 degrees (last night it is was in the upper 80s lower 90s). So yeah, my wife is upset at the time I've been spending on it..... if only she would have let me do this inside the house like I wanted to. Meh, whatareya gonna do? 😕 There is something living in my attic... I hear it now.😒....

Hi Growmies, So far it all goes to plan. Not much to do on soil I gotta admit. Right now they are receiving RO ph balanced water with some CalMag, rhizotonic and orca. The solution is applied with a spray bottle every time the top layer appears dry. #1 is a bit behind, as she struggled to get out of the seed shell. During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities. Once again, this week starts where the former one ended. With the exception of all the cables you can see in the first picture. I dared to install a minimalized version of the Raspi control only controlling the self-built humidifier and one blower/fan combination. I was very pleased to see how easily the simple diffusor can hold optimum VPD as long as temperatures are high and humidity tends to fall below optimum VPD. A single 10 seconds evaporation can hold the level for about 2–3 minutes. I am not pleased to see the Monsanto blowers rather underperform. It’s impossible to reduce humidity or temperature with both running on full speed, while a lifting of the tent door will bring immediate changes. With the Raspi/Arduino success so far*, I am thinking about using old Power Mac fans which are WCM controllable and use 12 V. At least one to increase air intake, and maybe even the blowers. * It wasn’t any problem at all to have the Arduino collect CO2 and soil moisture data, so after some more cable manufacturing (aka helpless soldering), I could extend the Raspi control. I’m still uncertain about the camera module (@trelorny impressed me with his time lapse videos). I don’t want to put the hardware into the tent with its not so electronics friendly climate, already risking some rare outages of the temp/hum sensor. But the camera module cannot be placed far away. So maybe I’ll use the 3A model I own as a spare part as a camera driver. Any maybe, if it works, invest in a better camera module. Mine is generation 1. Oh, and the ladies! Gave them slightly fertilised water yesterday, and even it or the better VPD yesterday or a combination of both make me believe bud growth is a bit more visible today. The smell in the morning when I open the tent to release accumulated humidity is outstanding. They were already thirsty on day 57 again, so pure RO + a bit of tap water until it spilled out of their pot’s bottoms. Many fan leaves turning autumnally now, and the smallest Sherbet suffered a bit from over-fertilisation as I wrote. But it this stage I don’t go for leaf beauty anymore. Just another learning: Don’t use differently sized pots anymore. Hard to feed them individually this way. VPD was mostly in best range yesterday, and I have the feeling it really supports their bud growth. I added an "Evening time" option to my Raspi control that allows the humidity to sink a selected time before lights shut down. That made it possible to have humidity in best range for most of the night time too. They were even dry again on day 58 morning. Another time just water. The blowers cannot cope with the flowers’ smell anymore, and so sometimes my flat cannot hide who shares it with me. Day 60 presents me with a problem: I’ll leave on Friday for a few days. Considering the microscope pictures are not from the tops buds: Would you say it’s safe to give them another week? Problem solved on day 61. Only clean water from now on, and next week will be their last. You won’t see any new pictures for some days now. Me too … Something I wanted to share with you before I leave: I just finished to update my grow box control with a new PWM fan hat that keeps the Raspi cool, while at the same an infrared sensor can now measure real leaf and additional ambient temperature. Setup is much cleaner and more robust now, but I wish my flux would not make the solder stick to the tip of the machine instead of making it flow and stick at the tiny tiny spots I have to hit …

Everything went well over vacation! The girls are doing okay overall. They needed bigger pots and it's starting to show overall. Another reason not to use autos cause I can't lollipop. But the watering process is going well. The purple lemonade is hard to judge due to the colors. She's short and stout. She's doing okay but hopefully starts to look better. I'm considering using synthetic nutrients in this grow to start giving for power. Wedding glue got the chop this week after flushing her all week . The house smells of sweet sweet fruit . Decent harvest looks to be around 10 oz but I’ll find out in a week or so .

9L Pot was harvest 6 days before 12L pot with 66g dry bud plus 3.1g bubble hash. Total 69g 12L Pot was left for 6 more days and the harvest weight was 123g plus 7.3g bubble hash. Total 130g The buds is rock hard and cover in crystals. The smoke is balanced great hybrid.
