Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. These buds are extremely dense with a delicious fruity aroma.

El ciclo fué perfectamente desde el principio. Bien es cierto que puse dos plantas y una fué la que tiró realmente bien. Se realizó una poda apical que respondió perfectamente creando dos grandes puntas y con un pequeño LST conseguimos ajustar el resto de ramas a la misma altura para que crecieran uniformemente y la luz les diera de igual manera a todas las puntas. En general me ha gustado mucho cultivar la AK48 DE WEEDSEEDSEXPRESS en primer lugar por la novedad, en segundo por la facilidad de cultivo y por ultimo por los resultados tan maravillosos de esta genetica 👌👏 Repetiré sin duda 😊💪 BUENOS HUMOS 🔥

I got two different phenos from this run. One green pheno with a more gassy and funky smell, and one purple pheno leaning more toward strawberry diesel. The buds are super compact and absolutely covered in trichomes. Really beautiful flowers. 🔥🤩

Love Glookies, Glookies is loving the ScrOG ;) super vigorous plant, that handled and repaired more than a few broken branches amazingly. The pheno is awesome, with buds being light green with a ton of purple hues in them. A powerhouse that I can highly recommend. Took a bunch of clones so that I can grow her again right away. She is a stretcher so beware and factor that in when growing her.

Very slow to mature like the malana bomb. Not too chunky either but still looks like a nice yield. Waiting for Amber trichs and it's taking ages haha. Gonna let it go a little longer I think the malana bomb is closer than this one. Very light smell but still has a small kick to it. Not like the diesel tho wow that was a stinker.

Lemon pie chose to pop up later than the others (2days) I won’t be topping any autos this run! I will be only low stress training until scrog and then I’ll high stress train if necessary! I’ve given the first feed today of biobizz (doing fastbuds organic the other 3 synthetic) my aim is to keep the veg period vigorous! As a great veg equals great bloom!

They seem happy so far, the living soil is a bit more dense than I'm used to so the soil has been taking longer between waterings than I would like. I just gave a deeper watering with 2 liters. And I'm aiming to maintain it with 1 liter every 2-3 days. I add a bit to the bottom first to see if it sucks any water up. And then usually top water the remaining liter.

Plants are looking really healthy. Defoliated again to get more light for bud sites. Lowered humidity a bit.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. In der zweiten Woche sind die Ladys schon ein ganzes Stück grösser geworden. In dieser Woche werde ich nach und nach mit dem binden der Triebe beginnen und aus den Mädels richtige Büsche zaubern.

Apr 20: They hanging out at 65% rh and 65F.. Going for 7-10 day dry… No wet trim, cut plants in half and hung… Very happy with density and resin production… Can’t wait to jar and test in 2-3 weeks… I feel comfortable with this strain, I think it’s time to move on… Really wanna run some Mephisto seeds….
