Really bulking out now and look like a lot of these colas will be filled out completely by finish looking at the rate they are growing and the fact they have 4-5 weeks left estimate. Cheesy smell is getting stronger but only within the tent when working in there and disturbing and moving the buds, once zipped up the filter handles everything fine. Crazy trichome production going on so early in flower , these are going to be some very frosty nugs.

Hello Diary, He finished the second week of vegetation at the Farm without any problems. The only thing I did was fill the humidifier with water every two days and watch them develop beautifully. The plants grew a little more than 10 cm in a week, which is great, and they started showing the first signs of flower formation. It will be much more visible next week. Watering was done only once, they probably get enough moisture from the air, so it is not necessary to water too often. This time I added Bigger Flowers from the Bio Flowering Booster palette. Humidity Day 40-45%, Night 60-65% Internodes are very close together. was hitting 450umol at seedling level making it absorb more than it can use, reduced to 280-300umol @18 hours as expected vertical growth increased. During the 18 hours of daylight the first 9 is highly saturated in blue, 5000 kelvin, the 9 hours thereafter are closer to 3000 kelvin. Last 9 hours dosed 280nm. Height is too far to cause damage. UVB light is not detected by plants in the same way other wavelength/colours are. UV cannot be measured using umol as it doesn't drive photosynthesis. The plant has tiny little sensors that get set off to even little amounts, dimer salt bridges, the UV decays these salt bridges, which initiate response. You don't need large/long exposure doses for the plant to recognize UV is present. What's an enzyme? Think of it like a multiplier, you can add an enzyme to any particular biological process to vastly increase its proficiency at a particular process. Cannabis plants take blue/violet light and use it to create an enzyme called "photolayse". This allows the plant to repair UV damage done to the plant using a process called excision repair, this repairs the damage at a much much faster rate than it could by itself. Repairing 100% damage. The key is the plant needs time to build a reserve of the repair enzymes before using it. This is replicated in nature as, by midday UV levels peak, the generally cooler mornings allow lifetime to build up. The problem I encountered was dosing with 280nm lights on or 1 hour after the lights were on. Photomorphogenesis, the plant plans for the future of its growth, if the wavelength is not present during growth then how can it plan accordingly? The very presence of UV changes parameters with which the plant will grow, light itself dictates the growth pattern of the plant. Not only that it can dramatically alter the regular terpene profile of a strain in unexpected ways. Gran daddy purple grown using 280nm can triple already high terpene linalool. Linalool is terpene best known for lavender, largely responsible for its beautiful smell. Trouble sleeping you say? Having tried Durban poison from a dispensary and reading about its levels of tetrahydrocannabivarin. I've always wanted to taste the difference UV would make to such an already stand-out strain such as Durban.

Off to week 5 and my ladies are looking healthy again after one week of struggle. Super excited for their progress this week. Height growth is now really noticable and I increased watering to 750ml/plant. Turned my SF SE3000 up to 80% and increased the distance to 60cm. So far they are loving it and I'm right on track for a good grow!

3 weeks from germination, they look green and strong full of vitality, even with the heat it is doing ... I just started with Biovega at 1ml per liter (half dose), I have chosen the largest specimens, you can see the difference between varieties, with respect to size. The most branched is already seen to be the Sugar Candy and the Sugar Black rose, the distance between branches is incredible. Like all in their own way.😉

Brewed a Tea for the ladies and there loving it, just transplanted the rest that weren’t into 3gal pots. they’ve all bounced back. Deciding on not using any synthetic nutes an just keep using the tea an maybe some other organic things. But the rest are bag seeds reason i’m not posting them lol but a little bigger then the crown royals tho i did start those about a day or two after

Organic stuff in the irrigation system didn’t take long to become a problem. I had to disconnect the whole dripper manifold and flush it properly — even with hydrogen peroxide, because the lines went nasty. From now on, I’m adding enzymes separately by hand. A new pump arrived too: 40W, 2500 L/h. Things started working much better right away. The drippers are pushing way stronger now. Should’ve stopped being cheap from the start. Also grabbed a new camera, so I can finally keep an eye on the tent remotely again. I still couldn’t really get the pH down where I wanted it. Some leaves are getting burnt here and there. I’m keeping the input around 5.2, but honestly it doesn’t help much. Luckily, the buds don’t seem to care too much — they’re still stacking and getting denser. Spotted a couple of fresh green nanners on #3, the one in the middle. Plucked them off right away, and so far I haven’t found any more. We’re getting close to the finish now. Autumn is starting from the lower parts, so I cut nitrogen down to around 90 ppm. Did a light cleanup as well — removed some of the burnt fan leaves and opened things up a bit. I’ve already dimmed the light down to 160W, otherwise I just can’t keep the temperature under control. Summer heat has finally arrived, so I’m basically catching the last train of decent conditions. Looks like I’ll finish just in time. #3 already looks pretty much ready, only the lowers are still filling in a little. #4 is still throwing some new pistils, but not that actively anymore. #1 and #2 look like the youngest and most active ones, but I’m not really counting them — they’ve got their own little world going on. So yeah, that’s pretty much it. Around two more weeks and then chop time.

Harvest time is here for both Mandarin dreams. Both plants were frosty, sticky and healthy, with MD2 being the better of the two. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight and smoke report. she's grown so nice ...topped her at the third node...spilled a little bit of nutes on one of the leaves any suggestions on what to do? cut it off leave alone? fan leaves are really nice and big..i also have a container with eggshells and banana peels fermenting in water that i mix in with her nutes..
