Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

We picked up the cuttings for the GanjOS Lab from High4Life on December 30th and put them in our propagator for around 3 days for acclimatization.

Ive got two Skunk Apple Runz plants(tossed 1 when I repotted the plants) with exotic-looking leaves and some great genetics. These are seeds I made and both the parents were top notch. They're both about five inches tall and growing strong they both seem to have the growth strength from the ricky bobby Unfortunately, one of them might not make it because of some damage or mutation im not sure, it just seems to have stop growing upward correctly but the other one's looking really healthy. Happy late turkey day grow diaries world!!!! It's now day 24 from seed for all the seedlings I have going. The past few days the plants have really started to take off. There roots have really started to dig in. Every other water I am still giving 2ml per gal of fox farm grow big. I keep having to tell myself not to add any more nutes other than that. I don't want to fry my plants but I also want they to start jumping. I'm quite excited for the coming week, I think the next 7 days or so is when the plant really starts to transform and look more like a pot plant than just some random little green thing. A few days ago I decided to move the plants from under my 55w cheep amazon light to under my spider farmer 100w newer version light with the good leds in it. The plants will hopefully be ready to up pot them here soon and get them in the large tent. Sometimes when growing multiple different strains it can be really hard to balance giving to much or to little light. You don't want the faster growing plants to get to stretched out waiting on the slower plants to catch up I spend Thanksgiving day morning transplanting the plants into 2gal pots. I am useing spme promix potting soil it's my 1st time tring this soil. It is actually doing really well the roots were all white and nice looking. I think next time I'm going to add some worm casting, kelp, granular mycos, and a little bit extra perlite. I just didn't have the money with christmas coming to splurge for all the extra stuff. I got rid of 2 plants 1 of the bubble og and 1 skunk apple runtz. There is only room for 10 pots in the 2x4 tent. I will peob only bring 8 of them to flower, always good to have back ups. Yesterday I also stuck the plants back under the 500w medicgrow mini sun 2 in my 2x4 tent. They did great under it the 2nd half the day I was happy they didn't get stressed. I had put them under that light a little early about 10 days ago or so. I am expecting in a week these plants will ge going crazy with growth

This week they have started to stretch, especially Lemon Cherry Cookies. Their lengths are now: L.C.C: 33 cm Guava: 31 cm Apricot: 27 cm Guava and Apricot started to stretch later, and they're getting bushy. LCC has stretched to a great wide shape. Sadly I rushed the training session a bit, and one of the four main branches on the Guava plant snapped right off. I taped it and now it has recovered and it is growing well. I have set the lights to full effect, but I have risen it to 80 cm above the canopy to get less light intensity in the beginning of flowering. It's starting to get warm, and I have to try to keep the temperature down...

2/22/24 - Day 108 - ok yall harvest is done! I'm exhausted! It took about 3hrs. There were a few things that I will highlight the differences. I have tons of pictures and video to go through. I'll update later...... I'm tired! 2/23/24 - Day 109 - Everything went really well yesterday. I was able to cut the harvest time from 9 hrs last time to 3 hrs this time. Here are some of the details on this. Last time I hung each branch on its own, it took forever to use the twist ties and then to hang each one. This time i used some drying nets. The only problem with the drying nets is for sure there will be one side that is going to be flat..... it's still going to smoke the same and if it saves me 5 hrs. then I'm doing that. LOL I also decided this time not to wet trim the buds before putting them up to dry. I did remove fan leaves that had 0 THC on them, but if there was a leaf sticking from a bud and it had THC on it i left it. That also saved me some time. The bud quality was better this time around, the buds are denser and more compact. I also had almost NO popcorn buds. The last grow I had 2 to 3 ounces in popcorn schwag buds. They were tasty and great but this time around every bud was a legit contender. This could be due to having more space, I used an Auto in the box this time. I thought Autos would be difficult to control in this space limited environment, but it was the exact opposite. It's just as easy if not easier to grow an Auto in this Magic Box. I think its important to note that anything I talk about here is from my own experience, I've purchased everything with my own money and no one pays me for my reviews or details. This is such a labor of LOVE for me. They day I get a job in the Cannabis industry is the day I stop working, at that point it would just be me living my dream having a BLAST! Have been adding microbe tea once or twice a week to keep the soil's microbeasties alive thriving. Growth has been picking up with the warmer weather but I've had to water a lot more to keep up. Added neem meal and kelp meal as a topdress.
