Week 20 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. They had basically 4 months of veg and the colas are already large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds. Lemon Cake had her spa day and had heavy defoliation of her voluminous fan leaves. It took most of the day for my husband to trim. Performed simple maintenance this week. Provided nutrients. The flowering has increased dramatically. I discovered five areas showing a boring worm has entered the branch where the leave connects to the node. I have sprayed with monterey BT to start control over the worms. I will spray three days later after the rain. I will continue until a week or two before harvest. These worms can do serious damage so I’ll be aggressive to ensure a healthy harvest.

2/19 Week 8 Controlling the stretch somewhat by keeping strong blue light in the spectrum. Wont start flower under HPS again, will wait till stretch has finished. The FFt-7 seem to respond most to this, the FFt-5 not as much but still slowed down. Major day coming Saturday everyone back into one tent and that undergrowth is getting trimmed! Transplanted and topped today. I always transplant and top at the same time as new shoots equals new roots! Maximize your grow! The roots are looking amazing for this transplant. I made another coco perlite and gaia green mix. This time with a 1:2 ratio of the 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 because I will be flipping to flower the week after the plants have recovered from topping. On transplant I use a mycorrhizae powder to reduce transplant shock and aid in nutrient uptake and root development. They still need some nitrogen to support them during the stretch but the added phosphorus helps with the stretch along with potassium to setting buds. I also installed my first layer of trellis to weave the plants in early. At the end of the week I got 2 autos and wanted to see what I could do with them so I planted them and then also got rid of one of the Caramel Creams (C.C) because it was lagging behind the other one a little to much.

Northern lights germinated and sprouted on first try. She did have a issue shedding the husk. I accidentally damaged her upon helping her remove it. She looks like she will make it though. Everything is looking good beside that issue. She is hanging out in my autoflower room till I have a better spot to grow her. These lady's have been taking there sweet time initially wat I thought was going to be a ugly one turned into the best and most frosty one I got in tent although none of my ggxwws look the same but two but this strain has grown very good and has one hell of a smell to them...well this week was going good but had one turn hermi on me lucky I caught before it got bad and got it removed before it pollinated my others
