Day 49 - what can I say, she looks incredible! These nugs are frosty as hell and swelling FAST. She stinks of sweet gelato and rotten fruit 🤮. The purple looks amazing. I really have no concerns this week. She looks in perfect health. No training or defoliation necessary. Happy growing! I gave her 5L of treated water, the same concentrations as last week and she drank it right up. Water into those edges people. Day 53 - Not a huge amount to say she's developing so well! Bueno, van muuuy bien, quizás en alguna variedad me pasé con la tijera y por solo confiar en las cabezas, no voy a sacar mucha producción pero bueno, lo que salga se fuma, y lo que no, se cultiva de nuevo xD. Las plantas tiran un oloor... Me lo tiene todo apestado! Jajaja para bien! Aclaro que estas fotos son literalmente tras encenderse las luces despues de 6h de un producto de descarga total antifungico que usé en oscuridad. El producto es valido para floración, ademas que pienso que aún quedará un mes pal corte, tiempo de sobra + 2 semanas de secado + otras 2 semanas de curado (no nos engañemos, se fumará desde que esté seca xD pero la teoría es que no, que aguanto hasta que cure). El tiempo este que digo, lo menciono a modo, tiempo mas que de sobra de irse los restos. Debido al producto, que lo coloqué en el centro del armario, las ramas mas cercanas han sufrido de estres químico y han cerrado estomas, por eso estan mas marrones o caídas, incluso como si tuviesen estres hidrico. La semana que viene cuando suba las fotos, veremos los cambios :). PD: adoro esta variedad xD cogollos gordisimos, se resiste a todo, alguna arañita pequeña veo aun pero lo lleva muuuy muy bien, y su olor.... Tengo entendido que tiene al menos dos fenotipos muy marcados, yo solo he germinado 1 de las 4 semillas que tengo y he de decir que en esta me ha tocado el gaseoso! Huele a gas! Esssagerao! Jajajajaja huele fuuertisimo a gas con frutas, es como si mojases una cesta de frutas de estas que huelen dulzonas con gasolina por encima jajajaja es el regusto fuerte del gintonic pero mas marcado. Tengo muchas ganas de probarla.

Act III - Week 11: The Dame Finally Breaks Bad Hallelujah, folks! Our dame finally saw the light – or rather, the lack thereof. Flowering has begun, a slow burn that's more like a smoky confession than a fireworks display. Big shoutout to all the growmies out there who kept me calm during this green-fingered fiasco. Still, gotta be honest, this is some seriously late blooming for an "auto." My outdoor non-autos have also started flowering. Looks like this dame had her own schedule, one that wouldn't be rushed by sunshine or a well-timed trim. Growth slowed down this week, a respectable 4cm. She's putting all her energy into those precious flowers. Speaking of which, tiny shoots have started popping up all over – another sign our dame's finally embraced her floral destiny. Rain and sunshine, both in abundance this week, seem to have given her the push she needed. But the question remains, folks – will this late bloomer be worth the wait? Welcome to the first week of flowering of my Sticky Broccoli. The plant doesn’t seem to stop stretching and I think it will become the tallest in the tent, with longer internodal spacing than the other plants. It’s probably the effect of the red light used during the vegetative stage. I don’t see it as too negative though, because the buds will have more space to receive light. Since I harvested one plant from the tent and gained some extra space, I decided to start some late LST to spread the branches as much as possible and open the canopy.

May 26th After so many weeks of sitting around 69% relative humidity, I decided to look into how suboptimal that really is. Turns out, pretty suboptimal. That's danger-of-grey-mold territory. So I shelled out for an upgrade. We've gone from a 100mm 170m³/h extractor fan to a modern 150mm 587m³/h version. The difference was immediate, even running at 75% of its capacity. It was even cheaper than the original! Technology is advancing even if we're going backwards. The weight of some flowers have begun buckling their stems, so I've given them support using some wire on the scrog net. Bought a bigger watering can too, so I'm giving her around 11L~ (a full can) every three or four days as necessary. (update: since the change in RH and massive increase in ambient temps, it's 11L every 48 hours~ish) Her main cola is way too close to the light for comfort. If I could raise it I would, but we've been out of room for a while now. Astonishingly enough, no signs of stress as yet. Maybe some foxtailing? No discoloration. Smells lovely already, if I disturb her at all the air becomes a stage for subtle wafts of something heavenly lmao. Fingers crossed as always.

2/1: I flushed the taller/skinnier Muscadine Wine and lightly fed everybody else. 2/4: I moved the taller/skinnier MW into the dark for a day...she and several other plants will be harvested tomorrow.

All 3 plants are adapting very well to LST, the shape its growing into have been allowing the light to reach further into the lower growth nodes and branches. I like to start bending the branches close to the main stem as early as week 3 of VEG. Now these 3 Northern Lights Auto seeds are from Sun West Genetics, they were all germinated, planted, trained, fed the same way they have been on the same controlled environment since day 1, the 3 are totally different, I know each plant is unique in its own way, but I find strange that 1 plant is taller and stronger than the other 2, the smaller one is growing weak leaves with signs of mutation, all 3 plants show signs of Magnesium deficiency, these 3 plants are sharing a grow tent with a Haze Auto from Seedsman, all 4 plants are under the same diet, the Haze have no signs of deficiencies or mutations, I guess that shows what good genetics look like. For the Magnesium deficiency I have mixed my own Epson salts into water and applied as a foliar spray, internet said the spray should be used every other week, wait 2 weeks to see results. Signs of Nutes burn, I decided to stop feeding for this coming week. The 3 NL leaves are looking unhappy, kind of clawing under, they look lifeless, I have ruled off a few potential problems such as: Wind Burn Under Watering Water PH Light Burn, just moved the QB higher to 17 inches from the highest canopy today. At this stage, the super soil’s NPK balance (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) is already strong enough to sustain healthy growth and flower formation. Adding the All-in-One Liquid or Top Booster would risk redundancy, too much nutrient overlap can actually slow the plant down, cause salt build-up, or push her into unnecessary stress. By keeping only the boosters and biostimulants, we are: • Supporting flower stacking and density (Power Buds). • Enhancing terpene and resin production (Sugar Royal). • Adding a multi-function bloom enhancer (Green Sensation, famous for its late-flower results). • Maintaining structure, transport, and stress resistance (Regulator). • Keeping calcium and magnesium in check (CalMag Boost). 🌱 Educational takeaway: Week 4 is about controlled nutrition, not force-feeding.
