FTG - Candy Cane Auto - Crop King Seeds

JBOrganix 1 - (03/14) Starting my new seeds, my other order for the Barney's never came in the mail. Must be "lost"... Decided to go get something semi locally. Picked up 2 strains and got the free Early Miss as well. Germination has started as of 03/13, paper towel transfer at 03/14 (approximately 16 hours later). Tent is sanitized and the new LED I'll be running is almost here. (Decided to wait on the full spectrum) Following guidelines as per Crop Kings recommendation for germination. We'll see in the next 48 how well they have developed under the paper towel. This plant will be grown alongside the Early Miss and quite possibly the GSC from Sun West Genetics as well. The GSC and EM will have separate diaries, so be sure to check those out as well! This grown will be done in the Indo 4*2*5 tent. Thank you to everyone that chimed in on my last failed grows, I look forward to some success after the excellent suggestions I received from everybody. Super excited! Happy growing! 2 - 03/16 - Looks like a good start to the germination. 48 hours after they were dumped from the glasses. Waiting for those t roots to get a bit bigger yet. 3 - 03/17 - 72 Hours later, forgot to get in the tent and remoisten the paper towels last night, just got up at 4am and they were pretty dry. Tap root looks to have lost some moisture, I'm just hoping I didn't already fuck them up this time. Shouldn't have drank so much on my 30th. Happy Saint Patrick's day to y'all! Hopefully they suck up some water and bounce back by midday. Going to put them in jiffys or rock cubes tomorrow. 4 - 03/18 - Planted in their first pots. Due to the nature of my last grow, I've decided to start the other 2 girls in a jiffy. Placed the jiffy into a smaller pot (approx. .25g?) That is filled with my Mo Koko, gia green organics 4-4-4 all purpose, 40% worm castings and a higher 60-70% perlite ratio. I plan on testing the runoff from the pots and the Early Miss is in a felt pot, so I figured it would be a great idea to accommodate for the additional moisture those felt ones hang onto. Probably going to uproot the EM tonight and transfer it to a jiffy as well then get it into a plastic pot. (Edit - decided against it) I'm going to run two 3 gallon pot sizes for both of my autos and eventually upsize to a 5 gallon for the GSC PP. Going to get some nicer domes today. Getting pumped. Almost through the germination process and onto Day 1 of Veg. 😎 Video update later today! 5 - 03/19 - All the girls are popping up out of the soil and should shed the seedling casings within 24hrs. Off to a much better start! The EM somehow came out, big surprise to see it. Not as pronounced as the other girls, but nonetheless. Stoked. Ended my day by them officially being in Veg Day 1. 6 - 03/20 - Well yesterday was officially day 1 of week 1 in Veg and as of this morning all 3 girls look great. Definitely feeling more confident this time through. 7 - 03/23 - Made some adjustments to the diary, measured the girls and corrected my Veg days. Moving forward, I'll do week to week updates on the girls and daily pictures of growth progress. 8 - 03/26 - Day 7 for all the girls. CC is definitely on the weakest link list. The EM has shocked me entirely. GSC is progressing as I figured she should. Today I am finally going to scoop my new light. So stoked 🙌 Girls get to go into week 2 with a heavy adjustment on their total wattage. I'll update later this evening with a photo update and video of the new light and the girls. JBOrganix 1 - 03/27 - Starting up week #2. New light is installed, will be monitoring the set up now since the new light is 800w. Tent temperature peaked yesterday at 85. Added a big fan in the tent and an additional fan for circulation outside of the tent as well. Going to need my air scrubber sooner than later to help keep my temps in check. Likely need a cool mist humidifier as well now. Woohoo. At least they are all still standing! 2 - 03/27 - The new LED at 800 watts is far too much. The tent was heating up uncontrollably past 86, so I decided to take it back and grab the single 400 for the time being. That way at a later date I can upgrade to a secondary 400 and still pull equal wattage. Also added a 6in inline fan to help keep the tent cooler. Sitting around 76 -80 now so I'm pretty happy with it. The 400 run quite a bit cooler than the 800 does. The 800 brought my tent up another 10 degrees whereas the 400 unit sits my tent up at 3 degrees. All in all, feeling good about the swap and new lights. Time will tell if I need anything additional come first week of flower. 03 - 03/31 - Almost nearing the end of week 2. The girls are doing amazing. Candy Cane is finally catching up and everybody is filling out now. Super cool to see what a week does! 🌱 Each of the ladies received some very light LST last night. Light pull on the leaves downwards to pull the top open and create some more developmental growth. I also decided to run a really light liquid nutrient cycle. JBOrganix 1 - 04-03 - Week 3, Day 1! I'll do a decent update on all the diaries tonight. Happy growing! 🌱 -Tonight- Update; Did some LST across the board. Various amounts of training for each of them, dependent on their individual growth and development needs. (Honestly just going for it lol) Anyways, no water for them for the last 48 hours. They'll likely get a nutrient drink tomorrow night. Still a bit oversaturated... Still looking good, excited for another week of development from these girls. 🌱👍

Feel free to follow me on Instagram as well. Same username. Anyhow, I topped dressed both flowering plants this morning. 1tblsp of 4-4-4 and 3 tblsp of 2-8-4 from Gaia Green Organics. They seem to be doing well. I've done daily LST for weeks on end. Leaf tucks every day multiple times per day. I've also clipped some of the lower end of the plant away. Some big fans are no more as they seem to be soaking up the majority of the food and blocking key flower sites.

JBOrganix On to week 3 of flower! Girls are going to have a relaxing week to bring on some new legs 😁 Should be a big week for them all to gain some serious height. Getting really excited! 👊🌱 Well on a more serious note, this candy cane is definitely a dwarfed one. Not sure if I overdid the LST or just stunted it when I moved her up into a bigger pot size. My future autos from Barney's will be done in 3 & 5 gallons from seed. 👍🌱

JBOrganix Into week 4 of flower. The CC is definitely a stunted plant or bad bean; popped 3 more CC beans, 2 in 1 out. I will definitely see this one through, she's got another 5 weeks in flower yet so we'll see how much mass she's going to tack on in the next few weeks. 💪🌱

JBOrganix Down to the last few remaining weeks. Hopefully she'll pull an ounce lol 🙌💪 Definitely has nice stacks. We'll see if she shapes up in the last few weeks here! - She's definitely got some heavy trich development and a density I cannot explain. Sticky to the touch; this girl releases a unique aroma once the nugs are squeezed. It's a rather unique smell that has a heavy fruity/berry presence. I'm sure the smoke will be phenomenal. 💪 FW5D7 - looks to have some issues not sure... Deficiency in manganese, molybdenum, potassium or zinc? Potentially a toxicity? Hmmm..

JBOrganix Getting close now. She's pretty upset about the last dry amendment feed she received; which was quite some time ago. Looks like she's got some signs of nutrient burn. Assuming that she didn't like the ratios that I used with the others. Definitely will adjust the mix for the other 2 during their next top dress. Still looks like she's produced some intense buds 💪 So I have hopes that she'll be one hell of a smoke. 🥊🔥🌱

JBOrganix Small but deadly. She's going to be some seriously good smoke. Smells absolutely incredible. Hopefully she will finish up by the end of the week, just waiting on trichromes to finish up 🌱🙌 She's finished up week 7, I've left her 24 hours so far... She'll continue to sleep throughout the afternoon but I'll be chopping her sooner than later as I plan to chop her down with my homie bakedpotatogrows 💪🌱 ***She's officially been chopped ✂️🌱*** I'll be drying and completing the trim work for harvest prior to the diary update. 💪👍🙌

JBOrganix Update 🌱👊 Half oz dry from this 6.5" plant. This particular candy cane had a plethora of problems. The candy cane was germinated and vegged with only 400 watts as I had not acquired a second light yet. So that likely plays a good role in the plants total growth. Upon further review after the harvest I pulled apart the root base to have a better look of what was going on. I noticed that the roots couldn't even push through the bottom of the jiffy puck. So it more than likely started stunting at that point. I overtrained this plant as I wanted to push the genetics to see how far they can go. It's definitely been a lesson learned, thankfully I have two more that are currently finishing up week 4 of flower. Although it was a small plant and it was my first grow, she only truly received 400 watts through veg (true wattage per light unit is approx 105 true watts). So she actually probably ran closer to 300 watts in flower. I would definitely like to get a little bit more supplemental lighting in there and possibly bring my temperatures down ever so slightly. These buds turned out quite airy but I do believe that goes hand-in-hand with my temps being between 80-83 and the fact that these flower on day one of the fourth week. I have the other three CC planted and they are all eight weeks total in so far. They will be the last seeds I run from CKS. Unless the smoke blows me away. 💪🙌🌱👍👊
