Hello Diary, As we slowly approach harvest, Milky Way F1 has started to show signs of being ready to cut soon. Looking under the microscope, the trichomes have started to milk, so another week and it will probably be ready. The flowers have covered the branches and fill in nicely, they are as hard as Titan but I am satisfied. The leaves are still of a healthy green color, here and there some leaves feel but that is normal. Still watering every three days. As of this week, I have stopped adding supplements, I only water with clean water that I lowered the pH of earlier. value. The conditions on the farm are still good (unchanged), the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is around 45%. Here's what it looked like last week. 18/06/2023 - Day 50. Watering. I prepared the usual 7 liters of water, lowered the p.H. at 6.0 I watered all three plants evenly with the hundredth amount. 21/06/2023 - Day 53. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/06/2023 - Day 56. Photography for the end of the 8th week and after that I watered the plants. That's all for this week, see you soon.

(ÚLTIMO DÍA Y COSECHA DESDE LA SEMANA 10// LAST DAY AND HARVEST SINCE WEEK 10❗) Es una cepa que queda en mi podio principal, un crecimiento robusto pero vigoroso, es una buena comedora de alimentos. La he curado por par de semanas y ese olor exquisito a crema dulce es muy tentador, el humo se siente parecido solo que con notas cítricas y fondo terroso. Su pegada es Intesa y duradera; comienza con un poco de energía y pensamientos ágiles y termina con un golpe narcótico. Gracias como siempre a la gente de fast bud por proveerme de estas y otras semillas que he estado documentado por este medio y mi instagram @stickyfingah420.

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. Dutch Passion Week 0 DP is a new company for me so let me just say that their unboxing experience is truly fantastic. You get a nice little sealed tin box, loads of nice writing on it , inside a vacuum sealed bag, some cool story about the gens and how to grow on the inside of the lid aswell, it's an absolute pleasure opening these, if you want more pics of this just drop me a message, truly one of the best efforts i've seen for this for sure. I made a 1L solution with just a few drops of my specially made kelp extract, see the video how thick it is compared to store-bought stuff lol, and put some of that in a glass, dropped these seeds in the glass, cover to protect from the light and let that sit for one night to activate the seed. The next day one of these had cracked its shell already, i'm digging these genetics already, let's see how they do ! placed them in a propagator , covered with some dirt to protect from the light, now they're chilling covered, let's see how many sprout ! hopefully all of them ! they came out strong within a day 2 had cracked the surface, the second day they all had cracked the surface, the third day they already started stretching due to my broken propagator, on the fourth day you can see their roots sticking out on the picture, i decided to transplant them early because they were already stretching and the broken propagator wasn't making me happy. fed them plain tap water with a tea spoon once. I do like the RQS propagator i got from Zambeza, and even though it was broken it did make the whole germination much easier, i would definitely recomend the starter kit from zambeza so far, but i decided not to try any of their genetics until next round, which starts soon anyway... see you for next week's update !

10/17/2022 start of week 3. Plants still look healthy. Been LST the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry for a few days and some of the lower branches are catching up. Trying to keep the canopy as uniform as possible. The Strawberry Gushers appears to be in preflower already, which is a bit concerning. Was hoping to get at least another week out of her. Orange Bubblegum is still the smallest of the three, but she continues to grow at a steady pace. I think someone pulled a fast one on me with my cover crop. I have what looks like blades of grass growing, with only a few small clovers showing up so far. Guess that is what I get for shopping on Amazon. Also, increased my DLI to 500. Not much more to report at this time. On 10/19/2022 I watered 1 liter per pot with the Rootwise and ThermX again. This amount every 2 to 3 days seems to be sufficient for their current size. The pots are wet on the bottom, but no run off. Also, removed just a few of the lowest leaves and fan leaves blocking the lower branches. The LST is allowing the lower branches to catch up. 10/21/2022 watered both the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry with about 1.5 liters each. They are both really growing fast now. The Orange Bubblegum is beginning to speed up, it's just seems like a shorter plant with shorter node spacing. I just misted the surface of the Newberry since the pot was heavier than the other two. Still doing some minor LST on the main trunk and some selective deformation and leaf tucking of leaves blocking bud sites. 10/23/2022 was a big day for the Strawberry Gushers. Top dressed with Gnarly Barley, BuildASoil Craft Blend, and BuildASoil BuildFlower, then watered 2 liters. Plant is starting to stretch so I wanted to make sure she has access to the nutrients she needs. The Newberry and Orange Bubblegum just got 1 liter like usual. Plan to top dress them as well once they get a little bigger. Avg. VPD: .8 PPFD: 500 DLI: 32

Plants continued to mature this week and all the buds are getting fat they will have there last nutrient feed this week in prep for flushing and harvest next week. The Lemon Zkittles looks and smells amazing looks amazing. Nearly all the plants look and smell the small, good genetics and breading. The Cxx is again a very stable genetics and flowered and smells exactly as the last grow did. Good genetics. The Peyote Cookies and Shishkaberry also grew well and similar, good genetics. Afghan Kush amazing buds and very earthy smell.classic The gorilla cookies had a rather large variation in pheno types but all look amazing and each will be a pleasure to smoke.

Well I let them go on for another week in the end and I don’t know whether I’m just used to the smell but I definitely have noticed a decline in the loudness of these girls. I’m not ‘flushing’ as much as just giving them water and terpinator for the last couple of weeks to help them fade and finish off. More amber trichomes than I usually have, so these are perfectly ripe I’d say. The additional lights I added to the bottom of the plants definitely worked in maturing the buds but they also made them foxtail and push out pistils and seemed a bit forced. Also needed to account for the extra heat that 3 x small LED strips (approx 25w) so I decided as I wound down the main light to 10.5/13.5 I would turn those off entirely for the last few days. Decided to harvest all the plants together simply because it makes my life easier, believe it or not? Even though the Gorilla Zkittlez could’ve perhaps gone another week even. Oh well. Drying and curing is always an anxious time for me and the aromas are not as pungent as I’d hoped, but let’s hope this bud comes out nice because as this has been a long run due to the cold weather hampering veg early on.

Last days for most of them - only Strawberry Cough will stay longer - she is super hungry and I can not keep up with feeding her - most of leaves are yellow now. 😱 The rest - four plants will be harvested on the weekend - 2-3 days from now and frozen - I'll be making bubble hash and fresh frozen live resin from them in the following weeks 😈 Trichomes are mostly milky with some amber starting - ideal ripeness and time to freeze those glands
