Week 1 of flower is in the books! What a great week of growth! The watermelon Zkittelz is by far my favorite of the 3 so far. She's super tough and bounces back with grace every time she's stressed out. SHE LOVES RETURNING THE LOVE I GIVE HER, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE FLOWER SHE PRODUCES!! ( SORRY FOR YELLING. IM EXCITED) LOL! No issues this week other than I sucked up a fan leaf in the vacuum when cleaning the tent..next time I wont clean it with them sitting in there..lesson learned lol. She screamed when the leaf got sucked in..I felt so bad!! I'm almost positive Watermelon Zkittelz finally showed her sex and she's confimed a female..unless you see different but I see tons of white pistils coming from her sites..no balls that I can see. Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

Frosty Frostbanger isn't growing any taller. I started measuring the cola today for height and width. It is 10 inches tall and I am not really sure how one determines its width. I took a picture and will ask a question to someone who is more experienced than me. I plan on entering this cola in a contest, however, I don't really know what I am going up against. :)😬 I have continued to feed my plant on a regular basis. It has been hot enough here in this area that I water/feed on a daily basis. We have a few more weeks to go until its harvest time. I am curious to see how big the buds are going to get. I can definitely see the dense, tight, resin-soaked buds that glitter like fresh snow in a sparkling winter wonderland as per its description of Fast Buds. . Buds also appear to be very compact. 05/24 - (M) - The mother has been harvested and dried - She produced roughly 3 oz's after drying - Considering I pulled a good amount of clones from her early 3 oz's is acceptable on this harvest - Completely negated the hay smell through drying - Nuggz are full and dense - smoke is clean and smooth. 05/24 - (C) - The clones are coming along nicely - They have about 5 maybe 6 weeks left until harvest - They were moved into the 2x2 tent to finish (Needed the bigger tent for my follow up grow) - The clones have a deep citrus smell - The budsites are filling out accordingly- Thus far no issues through first couple weeks of flower - I included 2 nutrients to their feeds Green Planet Horti Bloom and Late Bloom. Chemdawg and stardawg I will give 1 more week of feeding and then a 3 week flush with just water . The og kush I will keep feeding until I see a change in pistils as still all white 66days now

Hello,, fin de semaine 6.🤟 Les plantes ont très bien récupérées de leur défoliation de la semaine dernière. Le feuillage est redevenu bien dense. Je les passe en floraison aujourd’hui. J’ai donc fait une défoliation pour laisser pénétrer un maximum de lumière. En espérant que cela leurs soit profitable. 🤞 Voilà pour cette fin de semaine... Happy grow...😎

Day 22 and 23: Going easy breezy so far!! I released some ladybugs in my tents on these Chocolate Mint OG's 21st day. So far so good lol. Last night when I watered I gave a little real growers recharge to help with the recent transplant (it definitely gave them a boost!) Its mid summer here in MI and 84+ temps 😬 keeping the house and tents cool has been a challenge to say the least. Thankfully all my plants are in Veg and seem to like the heat. Except the Choc Mint.they are showing mild heat stress on the top fan leaves(at least that's my guess) Tent temps have been around 86 down to 84 daytime. I lowered them so they are 24" from the lights 🤞 hopefully that helps. Other than that, no problems. And some generally happy plants! The recharge and soil combo burned them a very little bit as well. Day 25&26 Nothing too eventful. I watered #2 on day 25. With some real growers recharge. The stuff is awesome! No nutrients needed if you have good soil! Day 26: snip 2 fan leaves from #2(the topped one) she was getting a little bushy. And tucked the other fans under to promote some lower branch growth. #1 I'm letting roll totally natural unless I clean up lower canopy to prevent pests. Day 27: Plants are doing great! #1 is really getting tall and # 2 is staying short and squat because of the training. We are letting #1 go naturally. Half way through the flowering now. Oreoz from the super sativa seed club is looking great. she loves food and supports HST very well, we did several toppings, and is very suitable for a scrog, she stretch more like a sativa plant, with longer branches but the buds have the typical indica snowball structure, a well balanced hybrid i must say. The smell has some nice hints of chocolate with some gassy creamy background. Very rich in THC and in general a very easy to grow plant. some support is required due to the longer branches

So, another diary and another grow! I have made quite a few changes this time to try and mitigate some of the issues I ran into on the last grow as follows: 🌱 Changed my extraction to an 8 inch Sytemair Vector EC fan, it is 3 times more powerful than the previous fan, but will nearly never be turned up much past 50% and only uses 23w at 55%. 🌱 Reduced plants back down to 4 from 6, am hoping this will help me get in there a little easier later on in the grow. 🌱 Installed an under canopy Honeywell fan to help circulate lower canopy during the entire grow. 🌱 Currently waiting for my preorder of 3 x Migro Array 240w lights, best in class efficacy and buys me an extra 1.5ft in vertical grow space as they only need to be hung 6 inches from canopy. 🌱 DWC now has the brain bucket outside the grow room to allow me to make amendments during lights out. 🌱 After last Botrytis outbreak everything has been thoroughly cleaned with bleach followed by 70/30 ISO. 🌱 Various Hygrometers dotted around the room now with 24hr high low displays That’s about all I can think of for now, happy growing all! 😎

I also upgraded to an oscillating fan which I hung to free up grow space. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I bumped my VPD up to account for leaf temp. The autopots are working. They just increased their (self feeding) appetite - up from .3 gallon a day to .8 gallons a day. This weeks accomplishments: Dehumidifier venting tuning Filled each scrog grid with at least one cola Stabilize temp, humidity and VPD. Stretched trellis with pvc frame Better oscillating fans for top and bottom airflow This week to-do By Monday evening, I have to install two more autopots - I’m still hand feeding the gelatos. I’m going on vaca, so we’ll see how this turns out. Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues My fiancé is getting jealous of all the attention to my grow! I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Anyway. I washed the soil and I'm at ease👌 time to slowly over:)

Welcome back, Day 23, everything is on track, and I'm able to leave the system to run, although I still check on the girls 2 times a day and foliar feed Remo cal-mag. pH sweet spot seems to be around 5.8/5.9 upto about 6.3. EC has been gradually dropping which let's me know the plants are uptaking the nutrients. Roots are now getting very established hence the faster growth. I am due a RO water change in the next day or so. Plant training - I plant to do some LST and Topping soon. Withing the next week for sure. Stay tuned until then! Day 28 - Things are looking good, some decent growth the past few days. Everything is luscious green and looking healthy. Occasionally foliar feeding cal-mag as I use RO water. Taken off 2 fan leaves off each plant as they were pretty big blocking light. The rest I've just leaf tucked. Trying to open up the lower shoots without causing too much stress to the girls. The LST and topping will start properly soon. Let the fun begin

Woche 9

The plants continue to grow although slowly. I turned the Gavita back on this week and even at 42 inches it seems to be too much light at full power because although they're getting adequate nutrients, the leaves appear to be showing signs of damage to the chlorophyll pigments. I'd like to splurge and get the adapter and controller so that I can dim the light and slowly increase the intensity to allow for a more gradual photo acclimation period, but I will probably hold off until my next run. I've also considered adding supplemental Co2 to help the plants more effectively tolerate and take advantage of the light intensity, but it seems like a big expense for an uncertain benefit considering all of the other variables that are sub-optimal. Perhaps I'll give those Excellofizz Co2 pucks a try. Someday I'll build sealed grow room with automated Hvac, feeding, and Co2 enrichment but for now I'll soldier on and hope for the best as the flip to 12-12 approaches. More to come next week!

And here we are! CHOP DAY! This strain has been impressive and smells like a bag of oranges! Oh so lovely! This girl packed on the weight. Several branches are hanging and has caused some side branching to separate from the main stalk(my fault for cutting the scrog net). Will definitely be growing this strain again!
