My first small bonsai :)

12/2- All 6 are looking good. Keeping temp around 76 and RH 80-85%. Using a reptile fogger as a humidifier and I'm happy to report it works beautifully. 12/3- Going smoothly. Keeping soil moist and conditions right.

Everything going great. Cleaned up some of the bottom leaves. 🍃 Increasing irrigation to 9 events. Light at max intensity. Almost as high as it goes but they still got room to grow. 18.11 Defoliated the bottoms further and removed weak branches. They really packed on budsites these few days.

Trichomes are looking milky and full. Going to give one more light feeding, and then flush em towards the end of the week. G13 has some calyxes that are growing in top of existing bud... possible this one keeps growing for another week, but seems like Banana is ready to go. Is there any downside to getting one gallon sized Mason jars for curing? I've yet to have a successful dry/cure, so really hoping to dial it in this time with the proper climates.

Outstanding results for an outstanding strain. What else can we say, the buds are perfect, covered in a nice thick layer of trichomes. Organge citrus terpenes are strongly available all around the tent combined with a gassy background, a true orange juice flavored strain. Simply amazing! Extremely happy with the high amount of trichomes on the plant!

This week gave me a lot of info. I see purple showing up on the edges of leaves. The trichomes are really starting to line the leaves of the upper buds. Both of those things are like krunkleberry. The longer structure of the buds lean toward critical. The way the buds are filling in looks krunkleberry. The smell is a dank sour dough blueberry with a floral critical back drop. I'm not sure if I want to eat it burn it or stuff a pillow with it! In regard to nutrients over the week. A top dressing of roots organic terp tea was applied at a rate of 1 tsp/ gal of soil. 2 cups of roots organic 707 soil was added as well for the ready available nutes in it. Today a brewed batch of terp tea will be watered in. The tea was brewed for 24 hours. It was mixed at a rate of 1 tsp/gal of water. This next part really just made me smile. The water started at a ph of 7.3. After brewing for 24 hours the terp tea ph was 6.73.

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be here in around two weeks +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience with this Ten Week cultivar! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she's not going to make the 70 days in flower 'suggested' by the breeder and will probably go in the dark later this coming week, but we'll have to see what her trichomes have to say! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Yeah.... Big buds.. Nope, ....Yeah Big Buds......... Nope

Final week, things got really easy for a few days. The plants are eating less and less each time I check the ppm at the end of the day. It will be RO water only when topping up the res for the rest of the grow. Made an effort to lower humidity as much as possible seeing as I can't do cold stress. Triches are pretty much all cloudy and just waiting on some amber to show. Only seven plants made it in the end as a revegged plant was out competed and basically it might give an ounce. 1.235 2.440 1.920 1.385 .940 1.075 Combined wet weight: 8.99 kg or 19.8 pounds

Aug 24: cool and rainy lately but will warm up again in a couple days. Gorilla Cookies looks really good and is flowering nicely. Very nice strain. Added some soluble seaweed to the water mostly for the K. Don’t take flash pics of photoperiods unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm light to put them into dark mode. Using the far red light like this is known as phyto-forcing and it’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness making a 26 h day. This far north I think it moves flowering up by 3-4 weeks so obviously a huge trick. Easy and cheap if you have daily access at dusk. Aug 26: it’s been a couple of weeks but I figured it was time for a lazy compost tea. I watered with it slightly diluted and the plants look almost immediately greener and more vigorous…amazing actually. 👍👍 Aug 27: this is definitely the fastest flowering of the four. Hopefully it stays sunny for a few more weeks. Thinned out the understory a bit as there were some small branches and bud sites that were not going to do anything. Check out the birds sounds on the first video. The magpies thought I was too close to their nest in the tree or something…they’re usually not quite that annoying. Aug 29: this is a great strain, and the manifold is working its magic.

Just flushing the girls this week, waiting for most trichomes to go cloudy instead of clear. Ive now switched the lights off for 36/48 hours and will harvest in the next couple of days :))

Week 5! All those pic are from the same day. First pic is before transplanted in 11 liter pot ( I took off the weakest plant cause just 10 fit in my box) the soil is made of light mix and warm casting but I top dress with: 70/30 of 444 and 284 - 1 Tbsp per gallon Rock dust -1Tbsp per gallon I sprinkle the root ball with mycorrhiza and water with compost the of warm casting and molasses brew for 24 hours. Then I put the scrog net and bend all the plant under it, I use the cropping technique cause most of the plant were quite strong as u can see from the pic. Ps: don’t mind about the sound of the first video I’ve just been unlucky cause they pass in front of my house while I was make the video😂

4/10 Fed half strength nutes with epsom salt but no molasses. 4/11 Something I've noticed, feeding really makes the buds grow dense by the next day. It's hard to notice the plants slowly growing at this stage day by day, but feeding definitely changes that for a day. 4/15 More half strength nutrients! This time with epsom salt and a half tablespoon of molasses per gallon.
