Hey hey! So my first week of proper seedling growth felt like it lasted forever! I feel like I definitely overwatered them in the germination phase and for the first few days of being seedlings, dialled it back a bit by giving them an extra day to dry out and they seemed to react well and have a bit of a growth spurt. Note for next grow: When transplanting cubes plant them a bit deeper in the soil, as once you water them the soil compresses causing them to poke out a bit! Also noticed a slight bit of green algae on one of the cubes, just picked it off and covered with soil to hide from light. Measured the PH of my tap water and was surprised to see that it was measuring 8.5, whereas previously it was around 6.5 - 7. Checked online and supposedly I do have very soft water, so i'm guessing this was just an anomaly. Anyway, readings for this water were: Tap: 8.5 Mixed with some Calmag due to my soft water + PH down to balance it: 6.3 Runoff: 5.5 Was surprised by the runoff being so low, going to mix in a slightly higher PH for tomorrows watering (maybe around 6.8~) and see how the runoff turns out. Overall pretty pleased and finding growing SUPER satisfying! It's turning out to be an amazing hobby.

Because of the colder nights, her growth is not going to be as rapid right now compared to when nighttime temp's stay above the upper 50's to 60's℉, which is when she should really start to take off! 4/16- It rained yesterday and today, so Mother Nature took care of my watering for me! 4/18- There goes another week on the books for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and I can't wait to see her take off with warmer weather that's not too far away! All 5 plants are growing great now! Started flowering my bag seed plant to go ahead and get it sexed ahead of flipping the light. I'm feeling a female! She's looking too good to be a boy. The mentos is recovering great from the topping, as you can see she's starting to bush out quite nice, all but #2 (the taller, single stalk one). Went ahead and started tying back all the branches that were getting ready for it. Also started defoliating some of the would be larf from the lower nodes to give them more energy to the future colas! We're almost there guys and gals, flowering time is right around the corner! Hopefully a week or so away. I can't Fu@k!ng wait! LESSSSGOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.

So far - so good, as always. Yesterday switched to 12/12 as the photoperiod one needs to start flowering, it means that autos will spend last two three weeks of their life at 12/12

Full on flowering. Gave first 10ml dose of bio pk 5-8 on day 37 with 1tsp bactrex in 1L water. Triton Biscotto Lime Auto is a bit behind but looks ok. All got massive defoliation and still tons of leaves... Natural form maybe was a mistake hahahah

First time growing Blueberry Auto, found it to fast growing with little margin for error.

Week 4 flower 🌸 Both plants seem healthy and happy so far showing good bud development this week. I have been giving both plants around 500ml of water each in between feeds as the pots are drying up every couple of days. some light defoliation removing a few leafs that were blocking some of the larger bud sites. ✌️

SUNDAY 5/19: I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the most advanced Candy Cane x C4 and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" 😉 MONDAY: The big one still looks fine after the mega-UVB incident , so she's still sitting in the dark. I flipped on the green light and went into the tent for a sniff test on everybody. She smells more like a C4 than a Candy Cane...a delightful aroma! The others have just about dried out..I'll probably start flushing a couple of them tomorrow and just water the others. TUESDAY: I harvested and wet trimmed CC4 #2 today. She wasn't very big, but her buds are ultra-dense and stinky. I also harvested the big one today(CC4#3) and hung her to dry in the dark tent. I decided to go ahead and flush everybody else today for the first time. I lowered the lights in the big tent several inches and set the light cycle back to 20/4, plus they are still getting hammered by the UVB for 6 hours of the day in 2 x 3-hour intervals. WEDNESDAY: I semi-wet-trimmed CC4 #3 and forgot to take photos..will do it when they are dry, prior to weighing and jarring it up. CC4 #1 was dry today, so I took some photos of the dried buds prior to weighing it and jarring it up. She weighed in at 66 grams after removing the excess lumber. She's very frosty, but her buds are a little bit fluffier than I like. THURSDAY: The last several CC4's will be flushed for the second time tomorrow. 2 more of the harvested plants will get weighed and jarred up tomorrow, but the other two will still need another day or two to dry. FRIDAY: I decided to wait to flush til tomorrow. I didn't have time today, so I'll weigh and jar up a few plants tomorrow. I just stuck the dry ones into some 2-gallon jars with boost 62's for now. I'm seeing about 20-25% amber trichomes on a few of them. They should be capable of putting me on my ass for a while. I killed the first few with just a couple ambers here and there, and the next two with about 5-10%, so I should have a pretty good sampling from them to know what it has and hasn't to offer. Glad I chose to grow these accidental F1 hybrids...muah hah hah hahhhh...😆 SATURDAY: I flushed the last 4 x CC4's with 3 gallons of ph-adjusted spring water today(and the remaining 4 other plants of different strains...my back is killing me..) and took some photos. Their foliage got pretty burnt from the mega-UVB overexposure incident, so I'll my work cut out for me with the trim..but damnit..they are getting super frosty and stinky!😋 I ran out of time, so didn't get around to weighing and jarring the dried plants. So, I just continued the cure in their big jars for the day.

At the beginning of week 4 of bloom the blackberry feminised is doing well. The hasn’t been much of a stretch as she has gained 8cm in hight in the last 2 weeks. Her leaves are stable and she is conspicuously showing signs of bloom. The white stigmas are filling up the internodes.

06/06 - As we get closer to harvest the prep work will begin by the end of this coming week - I will give them 1 maybe 2 more nutrient feeds then switch to clean water with Carbo flush to remove the salt build up in the clones - I have dropped the light intensity to about 25% to allow for the trichomes and terps to set under ideally conditions. They will also get the bigger leaves defoliated little by little as we approach harvest.. 😎😎😎😎 06/07 - The babies are coming along perfectly without any issues - Since increasing the Cane Molasse dosage for their feeds trichome development has increased tremendously - Dropped the light intensity by 25% - maintaining low temps and average humidity through out harvest - She will receive 1 maybe 2 more nute feeds before flushing with clean water - The cold water treatment seems to be working with positive results in terps and trichomes. 06/10 - As we near harvest I will only be applying one maybe 2 more nute feeds and that will be it - Clean water feeds after that for about a week then chopping down - The last 2 feeds will consist of heavy silica for nutrient absorption and Cane molasses for terp setting and trichome build up - currently the nuggs are dense and rich in resin - I will be trimming in 3 stages ( 1 wet trim prior to cut down and 2 after harvest both dry ). Lefty was dropped during veg that explains why she looks a few days behind the other i damaged a high fan leaf in about week 5 of veg and now I know what effect it has so not to do it again! Started on pk13 two days ago just a video update for now 😋
