This gul is getting Phat, ran into some NANNERS, got a few on the plant, picked em all off. Will harvest a week early probably. Excited to see if it makes any viable seeds if it pollinated at all, don't know if they would be sterile or how that works, as it was already pollinated by a female plant to be feminized in the first place. I do think I caused the nanners in this plant from giving it to much LST late into flower trying to dense up the buds. the Humboldt Seeds webpage said its about a 9 week grow or 60-65 days till maturity at 30-60g/plant. So I am pushing it a bit already, I like the 13 week timeline just as a number, however I think it will be best to chop at 10 or 11 for this one. Will know if I don't post next Saturday as I will be waiting for the dry and yields.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

With these plants, I started them directly in rockwool (no paper towel method or soaking, dry seed straight to cube) and the cube for Plant 1 ended up waterlogged, and the plant almost drowned. Now she's stunted, but I'm going to to let her go to harvest, even if she only produces larf (It's my first grow, so it's all just a learning experience at this point to me.) I moved both girls from the previous germination method to the one I'm using now, which is promix in a double-solo cup. Plant 2 just showed me her tap root out of the inside (grow cup where the seeds are located) cup, so I mixed together a 1-gallon MasterBlend mix (2.4-2.4-1.2) and fed her nutrients. Plant 1 is a little slower and hasn't shown me her tap yet, so no nutes for her. I'm using the AC Infinity humidity dome/propagation chamber with the grow lights and four vents. I keep the humidity around 82-84% because I'm aiming for a vpd of 0.6-0.9, and the temp stays around 70-75F. Day 18 is when I moved them both to their buckets. 4 gal in each bucket, so they got a 9.6-9.6-4.8 feed; will monitor for the next 24-48hrs and make sure they like it. Also, its measurement is grams/gal, not tsp/gal.

10/20/2020 Starting week 4 of flower the top dress I did should be kicking in this week, watering once a week till 5-10% run off.

White widow has finished at 64 days. Great plant with a stress free final week. She was on just water this week and was left to dry out for the last 3 days before the chop She's only in a 3l pot of light mix that is only holding probably 2.5l so all in all I'm very happy with her wet weight. I don't see there being too much loss on this one as she drys out as her buds are rock hard dense and leaf mass is at a minimum. Back in 10 days of 18c and 50%. Thanks for looking.

Cut a few of the colas off to dry,alot of the tops are done and now just focusing on the bottom buds to ripen and turn amber :) Had a smoke today of the tallest cola,smokes great and haven't been this high in a long time so impressed with her !

Week 10 is been magical.. Sour D is showing really good smell, different one.. similar with one I smoked from the streets.. plant is a bit smaller than gelato just beside it but man, they both are reaching the stars.. my biggest plants ever.. so far Barneys farm is showing really good genetics in my hands.. let’s gooo I will cut off silicon and big bud from next week on 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 1 of week 5. I defoliated leaves and shoots on the second node to build my manifold. I will be keeping the 1st and 3rd nodes on each main creating 8 colas with less topping then traditional Main-Lining. I preformed the 2nd topping on day 2 of week 5( the plants now have 8 shoots each and I will eventually be applying LST to the new 8 shoots).I haven't had any more issues with the Blumats but I am still dialing them in...I'm starting to see the pros of having a digital irrigation system vs my analog, but this is what I have available at the moment plus it's nice not having another wire to plug in 😉 Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 3 of week 5. On day 4 of week 5 I defoliated large fan leaves on well developed shoots on node 1 of mains(will do the same to node 3 of mains when those shoots grow out from the last topping). Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 5 of week 5. It's day 6 week 5 and I'm starting to see some possible issues with over watering and over fertilizing. One of my plants leaves started to claw slightly no burnt tips but I can tell she is slightly unhappy. I will lower the nutrients while making sure when I fertilize I get more runoff. I also dialed back my Blumats so that they water less(I'm starting to see a little green algae forming on the surface of the Coco this tells me it is staying too moist).

Hello Diary. We have reached the end of the journey.🙌 Fat Banana exceeded my expectations in every way. Smell, taste, yield. In the end I got a little less than 70g of dried flowers which is above average for my farm. 💪 Here's how it all went since the last call. 28/11/2020 - Day 65. Harvest. I checked with a microscope and most of the trichomes are milky and about 5% have turned brown. Everything is ready. After the last photo shoot, I cut the plant at the very bottom of the stalk. Before that, I prepared a handmade cardboard box in which I would put the branches to dry for a minimum of 10 days. After hanging the branches in the box, I put the box back in the grow box, between Haze Berry who had further extended their stay at the Farm. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 10/12/2020 - Day 77. After 12 days of drying, I took the dry branches out of the box and pruned the rest of the dry leaves. I put the dried flowers in jars, put in moisture fighters for better moisture regulation and for better curing. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 39% humidity. 20/12/2020 - Day 87. Tasting. Great smoke, fruity tropical flavor. A brief overview of the whole story. Fat Banana Auto (Royal Queen Sees) - 18/09/2020 - Sprouted - 28/11/2020 - Harvest - Total 72 days. Three weeks of vegetation and six weeks of flowering. I did a small defoliation twice. A total of 68 g of yield. The best strain so far on my Farm. Begining week 5 of veg the Purple Goat Cheese I moving along all her tops are starting to come up after being topped an she is looking nice an healthy just a little bigger then the Strawberry Banana but a nice bush just like her The Purple Goat Cheese is doing good ending week 5 finally starting to pick up some size still the smallest tho but she's been catching up
