Week 9 of flowering, Day 92 = the smell is incredible a. the buds are smelling very sweet, and still growing very large b. we are in the home stretch c. the trichomes are very milky d. the DWC is half full of 1620ppm nutrients at 6.5PH, I am cutting it in half with Mineral Water to finish the maturing process e. stigmas are changing color very rapidly, and the smell is incredibly strong Day 93 - WOW! The smell is becoming very intense a. we do not have a carbon filter on this box as it is out in our barn, but holy cow when we walk about 5 meters from the barn we can smell it strong b. added 4L of mineral water to the DWC to cut the Ripen down c. the buds are maturing fast! this will be harvested around day 100/101/102 d. for this week we are moving light to 11/13 Day 94 - resin explosions everywhere a. the light switch always makes more resin appear, and causes white stigmas to turn pink/orange b. she has slowed down her drinking a bit c. tomorrow the DWC will be pumped out, and 10L of water with FloraKleen will be added for 2 days Day 95 - trichomes look wonderful! a. 100x microscope shows really nice trichome development, majority milky white, with some amber, a few clear which should go white/amber in the next few days, and while drying. b. installed FloraKleen at 3ml/L with 10L of mineral water, will keep FloraKleen in for 2 days, then remove c. the pistils are all turning red/orange and brown Day 96 - growing well a. the buds continue to fully mature, the pistils are changing rapidly, and there are very few clear trichomes anywhere I look b. she is drinking less and less, her life is coming to an end I see, i constantly remove dead curled up leaves from her Day 97 - maturing, and smelling awesome a. i uploaded a video of the buds b. the trichomes are all milky white, and a probably 5-10% amber, they are SO greasy! Just like Girl Scout Cookies! c. installed a dehumidifier into the tent, it works well Day 98 - she is in the harvest window a. what a great plant to grow, 95% pistils are orange/red/brown and trichomes are 90% milky, 5% amber and a few clears here and there b. I am removing some leaves today to open her up a bit c. I think we will go another week, I will be in Geneva, so hopefully she will eat her leaves!

I have been feeding nothing but water the past few days. The Trichomes are cloudy at the moment except for a couple of the buds thatโ€™s lower. buds are definitely getting fatter and covered in trichomes. Iโ€™m thinking maybe another week before harvest. I need to figure out a way to cool my temp down to before the drying process. Iโ€™m in a apartment so itโ€™s kind of difficult. The lowest itโ€™s gotten was 70. Iโ€™m not sure if that would be enough for a slower dry. Let me know what you think.

Things couldn't be going any better for this grow. So recently I ripped off all the bottom growth, leaving only tops and side branches with lots of exposure. What a difference it's made, buds are starting to really beef up and. I now have some that are a foot long!! Definitely found my winning recipe ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅ‡

Dosidos has recovered from the snail attack very nicely ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘ The snail has topped her a bit too early but thats ok.. just glad she is still trying to bake some cookies ๐Ÿ’ช We have had some nice summer days (3..๐Ÿ˜ณ) So that surely helped๐Ÿ‘ I have sprayed her with neemoil-mix (neemoil, detergent and luke warm water) so she will stay strong from attacks of other cookie munsters๐Ÿ’ช Now its raing and cloudy again so she is in greenhouse with her crew ...having a powwow ๐Ÿ˜ฅ happy growing for all โœŠ

We started the week by measuring their height. Now I'm starting to think about when to switch them to flowering. Time is limited, so we have to cut back where we can. I don't have much space, so they don't need to stay much longer. They'll grow considerably in the next few days, and this might be their last week of vegetative growth. A total of 5 weeks. Six days after the last pruning, I did another pruning of the lower branches and leaves, and now they are ready to change the photoperiod to 12/12h in a few days. At 33 days I decided to put a mesh over them so I could fill the space better. Seeing that numbers 4 and 5 had reached a larger size than the rest, I changed the position of number 3 for number 5. This week I raised the LEDs, approximately 50 cm or so, increased the wattage to 300W, and added a mesh screen to start a sgrog setup.

It was a easy strain to grow and was happy with the several watering she needed! I was feeding her every couple of days and she rewarded me with some immense dense buds! I have one more of this strain that might be heavier! I just got done with my 2nd plant and she was a big one! Got 792grams or 27 Ozas Wet weight! My best so far with a 5 plant limit this is the weight of only 2 of the 5 I grew..

Week 6 of growth was another bumpy ride. Temperatures climbed up to 27โ€“30 ยฐC (Celsius), which is definitely on the hot side, and humidity sometimes dropped as low as 40โ€“45%. That combo put some serious stress on the plant. To fix it, I made a simple but effective move: I turned off the exhaust fan. Right away, humidity went up to about 70%, and the plant clearly started looking more comfortable. She seems to be handling these new conditions much better. I did make a mistake this week, though. Wanting to push growth a little too fast, I cranked up the light intensity too quickly, jumping from 300 to nearly 600 PPFD. With humidity already so low, that sudden boost dried the plant out. She definitely felt it, but I caught it in time, adjusted back, and now sheโ€™s recovering well. A bit of lost time, but nothing dramatic. The real highlight of the week has to be the Athena nutrients. The pH stayed locked at 6.1 from start to finish, without moving at all. I really appreciate that kind of stability, and Iโ€™m excited to see how it will impact the plantโ€™s health and growth over the next few weeks.

The girls are doing great. Pineapple and Cheese are huge for autos, Bubblegum is a little slower than the others, and Skunk had some trouble building flowers, probably because of the heat, but there's a solution to everything, I just have to find it.

High GD community Week 16, Zuchinis all around, tomatoes getting ready on a daily. Cucumbers are getting almost mature proportions. Everything going well. Terra preta Location: center perma garden Surface: 125cm x 105cm Depth: 115cm The hole was dug out over 3 days, it were very sunny days. ๐Ÿ˜… Theres mostly loamsand with a small sandloam bottom that was very hard. The sand was also very compressed and hard. The top layer is this grey dusty soil of about 40cm deep. At the bottom theres pure sand thats soft, easy drainable. First step is to fill up the entire bottom with fine chopped wood, progressively using bigger pieces of wood. I try to use some hardwood like oak to for its extra K (potassium = pot ash). A bit of charcoal to. This will take the entire first day, bcs it needs to have a minimal ticknes of pure ashes of around 5cm. Otherwise, after compressing it with the upcoming layers, the ash-line would almost disappear. Not all the wood needs to be burned entirely. Its a first layer with lots of N and K. Bones can be used to in the fire making the NPK complete. But it can be added also as a separated layer. I dont have that much bone material because my 2 dogs, or eating, or burry them somewere. Little warning at the end, be aware of your local laws applied to open fires. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‰ After a good burn ive got between 8 and 12cm of ashes in total over the entire surface. A small layer of soil (5cm) is put on top of that. Theres no need to harden out that layer, pressure will to the work and the layers will compress over time into ideal circumstances. On to the next layer!! Next is a layer of the compost, but the part that isnt allready decomposed. Its green/brown/yellow of color. And a bit of everything, grass, weeds, leafs and some thin branches. Another layer soil to cover that up. Now i formed a thin layer of chopped(10mm) wood(beech), just enough to make a thin, almost 1 piece high, layer. On to this i added a complete wheelbarrel of compost(black) with small pieces of still not completly decomposed materials. Lots of worms here. On that, you guessed it, an other layer of soil. I try to have both types of soil in that mix, the almost pure sand and the more grey type. Next, back to the beech. This time the rest of the bag follows. Theres a good layer of around 3cm deep. On this ive layed down some new small woodsticks to make a small fire again. Starting at the center and adding some last branches i found. It turned out really smoky!! Half way the burn ive opend the core of the fire, trying to spread the small pieces of char over the complete surface. After that, i added for the first time some water here. And an other layer of soil again, this is just covering up each time. Max 5cm!! Now we are at the upper half of the pit. Still 50cm to go. Now ive added some compost again, the green/brown/yellow one, with on top of that, a 15 liter bucket with compressed bokashi fermentated kitchen leftovers. Making a layer out of that and some fresh bokashi juice with 10 liters of water to drain those benificial bacteria into to compost layer just underneath it. This layer is almost 20cm tick. Again, yeah, soil, 5cm. Ive bought some blond peat to at to to toplayers. Last 25 to 30cm of soil, is a mix of the peat(20%) and the two other types of soil. First ill do tiny layers of each, last 10cm i try to mix it. And to finish the job, ive took some 100% reused and composed soil with some perlite in it from past use. I havent watered a lot, but the meteo predicts a good amount of water in the upcoming days. The soil that stayed and didnt get back to its original place, ive used to make a new top layer on the rest of the mini field. I havent used clay because it was hard to find or just to expensive. Beside the peat(250l), i didnt buy anything. So its labor intensive, but real cheap. If you dont get a sanction by the community ofcours! ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… Feel free to comment and give your toughts. ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ™ Thats it for this week boys and girls, Thanks for reading and passing by and ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ for Marshydro leds. 12/24/2021 So far only one male has been identified. Glad I just reviewed my video I didn't even notice how light green #3 is, guess I mix her nutes up separately and see if she just hungry? Or naturally lighter than others. All other plants are using coast of Maine mixed into soil (her too) so I'll give her a little mirimichi 901C this week and see what happens. 12/30/2021 Noticing that there is two distinct differences between these girls, color light green and dark green.#1,#3,#8 are light green and #2,#4,#5,#6,#7 Other than that there very much similar growth and node spacing, little differences but very happy with uniformity. Both light green and dark green maintained their magenta petiols, gonna make notes on stem rub notes next week and see how they will compare.
