Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

Week 7 - The end's in sight. Some unseasonal hot days here, 29° to 34° this week so, the shade cloth has come out and they're placed in an area with the most airflow. Aphids keep on appearing so I contiune to check and spray with water on infected areas to keep the pop as low as pos; so far i'am on top of them. The pineapples are really packing it on and the smell is getting stronger every day. I've upped the nutes close to Biobizz's recommened and so far, there seems to be no negative feedback. Due to the heat I can't help but be a little concerned though humidity has dropped to during the day to about 50 and 80 at night for a few hours. I hope they're as resilient as their reputation suggests. The lemonade contiunes to chunk up, though I think she's as tall as she's going to get. The smell continues to increase in intensity which actually compliments the pineapples nicely. Again the weather's abit of a concern, even more for this girl as Fastbuds recommened cooler temps for this strain; I wasn't banking on temps like this for another month or so yet. I'am thinking I should start a few weeks earlier next season because if the Lemonades smoke as good as they look and smell i'll be growing them next season for sure. Fingers crossed.

D'ici deux jours, l'une d'entre elles sera prête à être récoltée après 48h d'obscurité. C'est fascinant de voir une plante passer de la graine à la récolte en seulement 56 jours, soit moins de 2 mois. Cette rapidité laisse de la place pour démarrer une nouvelle culture et gagner deux semaines de plus. Quant à l'autre plante, elle bénéficiera de deux semaines supplémentaires pour observer d'éventuelles différences de taille, d'effets ou d'arômes. Pour magnifier les saveurs et les huiles des fleurs, je leur offre désormais des nutriments Final Part de Terra Aquatica. J'ai hâte de voir le résultat de cette attention particulière ! 🌱

Nov.5 -we placed these girls in a paper towel and paper towel in ziplock Nov.6 - Once girls seeds showed tap root we placed the tap root down into the rockwool Nov.9 - Started DWC, put a small layer of pellets at the bottom then placed in rockwool then covered rockwool with pellets Nov.10 - Took a light away and put it in our small tent, these guys only have the one light now

Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Week 4 over for wa girl. Soil PH was off this week and the ppm levels was way too high after I tested my runoff. So this week was mainly about flushing and trying to get the medium back to ideal conditions. So far she’s recovered well and been cruising ever since. There are a lot of new tops showing up so I need to lightly defoliate and tuck in some leaves to allow even light distribution on the canopy. Temperatures have been assessed, I could see stress on a few of my plants already. Really interesting plant though, the smell has started coming out and it’s lovely 😍 Let’s see how everything goes. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht.
