She is doing well, running Big Rootz soil so not much is needed by way of nutes just yet. Watching for discoloring of leaves in future so I can start a 25% nute feeding regiment. Noticed last night she is already in preflower. Honestly I am pleased to see it happening sooner rather than later. She is a thirsty girl and a long grow in a solo cup sounds intimidating as hell to me lol. Decided to go for it put a nice bend on her and strapped her down for the ride!

It’s the third week of flowering, and the plants are starting to show some exciting progress! 🌿 The buds have begun to build mass, and the first signs of trichome development are visible, giving them a light nice, frosty look. ✨ I did notice a few nutrient deficiencies on the leaves, likely due to underfeeding, as I’m using a medium with 50% coco. To fix this, I adjusted the nutrient levels, and the plants seem to be responding well. 🌱 The plant that wasn’t trained with LST is about a week ahead in development compared to the LST version, showing more advanced bud growth. Also, the smell is becoming more pronounced, with the first hints of that classic, sweet aroma filling the tent. 🍬🌿 I’m excited to see how things continue to unfold in the coming weeks! 😁✨

Flipmode! Went and got a grow tent and flipped the Green Crack and her sisters to 12/12. Running my old mars-hydro light for this flowering run, until I have the $ saved for a new Samsung strip build. Removed the largest fan leaves from GC, other than that she's looking happy. 17/MAY/21 D:10: Didn't have any time over the weekend to visit the tent so I was excited/nervous about what state my girls would be in... And wow, she has definitely sprouted up and gained some decent growth. Very happy with how she is growing in my new setup! A very faint odour of the generic weed smell as I opened up the tent door, she is already leaving a weedy smell on fingers after gently inspecting the leaves. Gave her some water and a very light feeding of Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Grow Part A & B 18/MAY/21 D:11: All is well, I keep forgetting to take a dustpan and brush so I can clean the floor 😱 Will make a reminder for next visit. Other than that, she's looking great, Out of seedling phase, and she is slowly starting to veg nicely now 😁 20/MAY/21 D:13: She has packed on a nice amount of foliage, certainly looking so far like a typical Kush bush 😄 I am thinking about planting that Strawberry banana seed daily! 21/MAY/21 D:14: Decided to top her, I am going to leave the fan leaves over the weekend just to help with recovery & growth. I have removed all new growth that would grow into anything other than a fan leaf. Day 36 I guess I can call it bloom. Nice strong pistils shooting all over. She is the tallest so far making me raise my lights a little more. Day 38 Now Californian Snow is the tallest :) Ztrawberry stopped at a perfect height, it looks like she's gonna develop into a beautiful lady. Fat white pistils all over 😻 Day 39 Happy girl got 2500ml cm bg bb bh 6.3ph ~1EC She is perfect, symmetrical, stopped stretching at about 50cm, flowers are mostly leveled, branches are strong, leaves point up unless I water. I think she's also turning purple. Beaut 😻 Day 42 I think I saw some burnt tips but she still looks super happy and healthy. The most vigorous plant I've had.

Week 9 concluded with great progress and minor issues! She continues to stack on inflorescence and is frosting up nicely in the heat of the summer sun here. There hasn't been rain here for some time and the days are well into the 90's Fahrenheit. She spends most of the day outside and still comes into to bask in the 400W HPS while it's dark out. I try to give her a 4 hour lights-out immediately after bringing her inside for the day. I'm seeing leafhopper damage here and there but inspections haven't turned up any culprits recently. I saw them daily back in the spring when she was in veg but they seem to have moved on. I've ordered some spinosad soap in case they continue to damage the plant. As always, I overfed N during flower and she's clawing up a bit on me. Since then, I've been hitting her with plain water only to try and flush out some of the excess. Following manufacturer recommendations for nutrients always seems to bite me. Especially since all say not to stop with Grow, Part A, etc.. once flower begins. Clearly, I'll need to dial back the amount in the future. She seems to be progressing nicely in spite of these few issues though and overall I'm very happy with the genetics Dinafem has lovingly created. The trichomes towards the end of this week had started to go slightly cloudy so I decided not to feed and to start the flushing process instead. I flushed the medium with a couple of litres of water per plant until I got a good amount of run off. I think I may have not back off the nuets enough on the few last feeds as the majority of the leafs on all 4 plants are still quiet dark green in colour with no yellowing. I did a good amount of defoliation at the start of week to try and get as much light to the lower areas as possible. The buds are still developing ok I think they feel dense, they won’t be massive buds but I am hopeful for a decent yield overall. The smell is strong but the carbon filter is working great. Happy growing so far 🤞🏻

I'm very happy with this weeks progress. They transitioned very well to the garden, which I'm chocking up to the row cover. They didn't need any water due to the thunderstorm we had last night, but I did make a ring around the base of each plant and gave them about 1-2 TBSP of the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend fertilizer. They also got their tomato cages.

TUESDAY 9/3: She's still branching out and budding up.👍 WEDNESDAY: I was out at the property for awhile today, hosed off the horsies and cleaned their hooves really well. I was there long enough that I was able to move the plants into direct sunshine for an extra couple hours. I fed her with a half-gallon of water including bembe, terpinator, tiger bloom, beastie bloomz, armor si, and big bloom...just enough to wet her whistle. THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY: I was sick as a dog . 2-day stomach virus, followed by an acute pancreatitis attack... 😷 MONDAY: I gave her about a half-gallon of aquarium water with some bembe, beastie bloomz, and tiger bloom.
