It is very unusual to watch these plants grow without them being topped. They seem small compared to plants that I top, but they all look pretty healthy. I had an issue with the organic calmag clogging all of my feed lines. This is one of the reasons I usually avoid organics in hydroponics. The organic was all I could get locally so I tried it and it was a fail. I have calimagic on the way though so they will get a dose in a couple days. I see a few signs of mag deficiency but nothing to worry about yet. They have been on 12 12 lighting for over a week but not seeing signs of them maturing enough to flower. I think it will start happening before the end of next week.

Kweekverslag Week 3: Serious Happiness van Serious Seeds Datum: 18 maart 2025 Kweekomgeving: Binnenkweek, LED-verlichting, temperatuur 21°C, luchtvochtigheid 51% Welkom bij ons kweekverslag van week 3, waarin we de voortgang van onze Serious Happiness van Serious Seeds volgen. Deze hybride strain, bekend om zijn gelukkige en opbeurende effecten, maakt het kweken tot een waar genoegen. Groei en ontwikkeling: In de derde week zien we duidelijk dat onze planten goed reageren op de verzorging die ze tot nu toe hebben gekregen. De stelen zijn stevig en de bladeren vertonen een mooie, gezonde groene kleur. Er is een aanzienlijke toename in hoogte, met een gemiddelde groei van 10 cm deze week. We hebben de planten goed afgebroken om de ruimte te geven voor zijtakken, wat de komende weken zal bijdragen aan een vollere plant. Voeding: Deze week hebben we onze voedingsschema's aangepast, met een focus op stikstofrijke meststoffen om de vegetatieve groei te bevorderen. De planten lijken goed te reageren op de voeding; we zien een sterke groei en grote bladeren, wat een teken is van een gezonde fotosynthese. Licht en omgeving: De LED-verlichting is ingesteld op een cyclus van 18 uur licht en 6 uur duisternis. Deze instelling blijft optimaal voor de vegetatieve fase. De ventilatie is consistent, en we zorgen ervoor dat de luchtvochtigheid binnen het ideale bereik blijft – niet te hoog, om schimmelvorming te voorkomen. Kijk vooruit: Met een goede basis in week 3 kijken we vol vertrouwen naar de komende weken. We bereiden ons voor op de overgang naar de bloeifase, wat betekent dat we binnenkort onze lichtcyclus zullen aanpassen en wat veranderingen in voeding zullen aanbrengen. We verwachten dat de planten zich in de volgende weken verder ontwikkelen en hopelijk ons zullen belonen met prachtige toppen. I’m so excited to show you guys week 3. These plants are huge!!! Even though I’m watching them grow right before my eyes I’m still shock as to how big they are. I browsed through other growers diaries that’s growing the same strains as me and I haven’t came across none as big as mines. The plants are responding well to their nutrients and TLC from me. I was planning to scrog this grow but I’m curious to see how big these autos are going to get so I’m going to just let them ride it out. Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

11/29 - Day 57 - Start of week 9. Fed the plants today with cal mag, base nutrient trio (micro, grow, bloom), and MKP. The plants appear to be very happy and healthy. Flowers are developing nicely on Blanche and Pinky, but Bleu is still showing only a few pistils at the bud sites. I'm wondering whether I should adjust the light schedule from 18/6 to 16/8, 14/10, or even 12/12. Will reassess at the end of this week. 12/02 - Day 60 - Fed nutes ppm=700 PH=6.5 w/ recharge and molasses. 12/05 - Day 63 - Fed nutes ppm=825 PH=6.5. Pinky and Blanche are starting to fatten up. Bleu looks as though she's just starting to kick into another gear, but will probably finish at least 2 weeks after the other two. Excited to see the eventual yield considering she will get the entire tent to herself during the final few weeks, is significantly larger than the other two plants, and is drinking/eating more.
