Update 11/8...2nd plant is harvested and jarred. The terps on this strain are amazing! I harvested only 1 plant....her sister (the tall purple girl) is still under the lights. Based on dry weight on 4 upper colas harvested 5 days earlier I'm expecting a whopping 160 grams from just the one plant. The colas are super frosty and dense, holding their weight during drying. I've got 40 grams already curing, the rest is still hanging in the dry box. This strain was an absolute pleasure to grow and even an uncured bud smokes smooth and sweet with a nice, even slow burn and white to light grey ash. It's gonna be my go-to from my winter stash line-up!! Thank you Royal Queen Seeds for the opportunity to select and grow one of your strains and for Organic nute setup. It's obvious I snagged an excellent strain grown with topnotch nutrition. I've got 3 more Green Gelato beans and can't wait to pop em next grow.

Day 43 - She is streching! Did some very carefull LST. I think she wants more N, i´ll add 1ml/L of Fish-Mix to see how she responds. Day 45 - Fed her today, nutrient amount corresponds to the chart above. Day 47 - Explosive growth continues, i think she loved the extra fish-mix! See diference between days 44 and 47! Leaves have darken a bit, but due to GD image coding, i dont think you can tell so well. Day 49 - She´s pretty happy, did dome minor LST adjustments. I think she is finishing her stretch. Next week will arrive my Carboload and Big Bud by Advanced nutrients, which i will introduce :) Maybe with foliar

Both look OK,.. one had quit abit of yellowing, going to add calmag on this week's feed, still seem happy enough, smell lovely, the one closest to the door has got a lovely purple hue setting in,.. roll on next week 👌

Day 71, 19.06.2024 As the new and possibly last week of blooming arrives I am looking at two ladies, that behaved quite well during the last weeks. They grew close and it will be a shame to cut them down in the end. However, what must be done, must be done right? Today there will be the second to last nutrition intake for them. I decided to cut the BioBizz Grow and CalMag completely so they will receive 600ml of 4/4ml (Bloom/TopMax) later today. Also today I saw the first amber trichomes through my pocket microscope. But not enough yet - maybe I will stop feeding nutes after todays "last supper" and start flushing... Day 72, 20.06.2024 No action today. Day 73, 21.06.2024 600ml of water each - no nutes. I think it might be the big finale. I am thinking about harvest next and watching a lot of YouTube about that topic 😂 Day 74, 22.06.2024 No action on the plants but to give them a check up. I finally see the first amber trichomes on both of the plants, woohoo 🙌 Removed 3-5 fan leafs that were starting to get yellow. Time to make up a plan for the harvest I guess! Currently the plan is - to do harvest in 4 days from today in the evening (Wednesday, 26.06. ~1700). - I stop watering immediately - no more soup for you! Maybe I did not do flushing long enough, but my hope is that using organic fertilizer eases the effects - I will not switch off the lights on Monday at 1100 (like usual). Instead I will keep it on until 1700 - then switch them off completely. - 48h later on Wednesday I will harvest I do all this to inflict stress to the ladies. Stress by low water, stress by longer light followed by stress due to no light at all. All this will hopefully lead the plants to 1. produce more trichomes as a defensive reaction and build up bud mass 2. urges the plant to process as much chlorophyll as possible which leads to better taste in the end So much for the plan. Let's see how this turns out. Day 75, 23.06.2024 The good thing about not watering anymore: No action today. But as today would mark the "point of no return" in a way I will double or even triple check for the trichomes. If they are ready, I will commence the plan of not watering and longer lighting tomorrow. If there is doubt I will shift the plan day by day. Aaand here it is: Doubt! After checking the trichomes again I found too much of them clear. I decided to not rush things and thus postpone the harvest for at least 3 days. So today there will be a (late) flush and we will take it from there. Day 76, 24.06.2024 No real action today but to check in trichomes. Erika II has a good number of amber trichomes while Erika I still has too mich clear ones. It's a dilemma. But I will hold on to the plan for now which says: Harvest will be on the weekend (friday presumably)! Day 77, 25.06.2024 Today we reached 30°C outside and it is (finally) getting summer here in germany. This resulted in 28°C inside the tent & it felt good to give the ladies some craved water: ~1000ml went in the pots before the drain started. This was definetly the last drink. Tomorrow the last light cycle will start. Today is tuesday. The plan for harvest is as follows: Wednesday: No action. Thursday: Lights out at 1100. They stay off until the end. Friday: Harvest will begin at around 16:30 after work. Both plants will be harvested & hung up for drying. I am thinking about doing one plant using wet-tim and one plant using dry-trim techniques, just to have the comparison right after the first grow. I guess I need to make up my mind about that...

Pulled day 59 of flower could waited a week more.Reasonably happy with the outcome. Very incense kind of smell but chocolate taste. Made some bag shake hash , about 2gms - lots of cloudy trycs in the hash. It’s worth checking the quality of the shack hash with a microscope. have made 400gms of canna-butter for edibles. Not a bad yield . I was expecting a bigger yield. Looks good in the jar .

Hey So I had to harvest a little earlier now because I'm going on vacation, so I'm done with everything 2 weeks before :) It was quite easy to grow it has a very strong smell and generally a strong effect it tastes sweet/sour/woody It is sticky and the buds are quite heavy I harvested 146.5g dry weight from a plant :))

Here she is Dawg Daze at Day 64 week 9 from seed. She just finished her 4th week of flower. Height at 22 inches. Kept humidity at 40-60% n temps at 65°-80° my personal preference . Only fed tap water every 2 days as needed. She starting to fatten up now n the smell coming off her is amazing. All organic too. Using only kind soil super soil with cocoloco bush doctor soil and some cover crops alfalfa n clovers. Also using 2 closet case 100w for the entire grow. Only few more weeks to go...will update next week on her growth.

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 32g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently only at 61%RH inside. I let them dry too long :( They felt really dry when I took them out, min. 2-3 earlier would've been better. Slowly bringing them back up in humidity. Adding Bovedas soon. Burping every day for couple of minutes. Buds are small and dense, just like I remembered them. Also their smell is very familiar, hashy and strong. Getting better by the days. I dream of them becoming small hash balls, aaaaah 😍 Depending on how well they smoke (worried because of drying too long), I will make them into oils or press them into something. I am happy with this grow and look forward growing her again, seeing an all new side to her. She has beautiful colors and hair, really surprised me with her beauty while trimming. I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. Regular hang dry: For 10 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was way too dry after all those days 😱 2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 8 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 65% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils. Some details: 16. Nov. 2019 - 10. Feb. 2020 - 85 Days - Grown from Seed Smell of Hash; Massive swolen calyxes; Lots of green leaves until the end. Chop on 10. Feb 2020 - 266g (stem on) Put in pot in Dry Tent Darkness for 48 hours. (50% humidity & 20°C/68F) Total wet - no trim - 266g Total wet - slight trim - 244g //Regular dry in tent - 50% humidity & 20°C/68F // 180g with little trim went in Total dry - trim - 24g //Low and slow dry in fridge // 46g went in paper bags in fridge (forgot one bud in the hang dry box) Total dry - trim - 8g Check 420magazine for “Low and Slow”-Dry. Bridal rubbing sugar leafs smells like some sort of candy watermelon, blackberry neat skunky AF sugar leaf rub, pink is nice mellow I will have to check tomorrow. Dr. Thunder very oily with sugar leaf rub I swear you could deepfry with it. It also smells mellow skunky but will check again tomorrow it may have been terps overload on my fingers regarding thunder and pink paradise aromas. Pink caylaxes have shriveled and accepted pollen locations. I just don't think the seeds will be ready when harvesting in a few weeks. Start week 5 tomorrow and I don't think crosses will be ready so I will figure it out. Pink crosses would be fun next round but I have so many more selections to choose from to grow my next 4.Thunder smells like a citrus cleaner, almost pineapple front notes then a full citrus. day35 defoliated like madd. no lie so sticky: 2 fingers lifted a ceramic cup like I was spiderman. 1 finger was a struggle.. science

She is starting to fade on her own... I will start flushing her today... 👊😎
