Hello Growers! Another week of cultivation, we are approaching the final stage! As the week goes by and they grow, they become more difficult to take pictures, due to the luminous flux inside the greenhouse, however, I made a video to better demonstrate how this progress is! Hope you like it! 😁

🌱 Sour Diesel — Week 7 From Seed (Week 2 Flower) Quick Recap (for context) This Sour Diesel has had a tougher road compared to the rest of the room. Earlier in the cycle, she was hit by a combination of: • Colder external temperatures • Environmental instability during early development • Slower initial adaptation compared to her sisters She never fully enjoyed the colder phase, and recovery has been slow but steady, not explosive. This update reflects a plant that is stabilizing, not one that is racing. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28 °C (successfully raised and now stable) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around ~909 ppm) As outside temperatures remained low, the room naturally became its own heat source due to: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Addition of under-canopy lighting No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself naturally. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant, gentle air movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (now transitioning downward — all feeds moving toward 6.0+) Why a Slightly Higher pH Right Now? As plants enter early flower, demand shifts: • Improved Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger P & K availability • Increased root activity A slightly higher pH during this moment supports: • Structural development • Flower initiation • Stability under higher PPFD and CO₂ Nutrient Transition • Terra Grow → flowering nutrients • Supporting the hormonal shift from stretch → stack • Minor signs of possible Ca/Mg demand observed → already being addressed → nothing severe or alarming (Reference images included above for transparency.) ⸻ 🌸 Flowering Progress & Current State She is flowering — slowly, which is expected after stress. Important clarification: • Week 7 from seed • Week 2 of flower This slower pace is not a failure — it’s a recovery-driven transition. She’s prioritizing balance before expression. Leaves are not “happy” in the Instagram sense, but they are: • Responsive • Stable • Not deteriorating That matters more right now. ⸻ 🌍 Seasonal Reality Outside conditions remain harsh: • Temperatures around 4–5 °C • Humidity consistently 90%+ • Full winter conditions The room itself is stable and dialed. The rest of the garden is thriving under these conditions. Day 39 11/06/20 ok so she is doing very good and the color is amazing. i cant wait till she gets bigger and boy she is thirsty i have to 5 from 1 gal to 5 L. i have lots of info in the vids for your viewing. happy growing and keep your stick on the ice

First pistils came through this week! Switched the 'bloom' switch on the light to double LED count and add the red to the spectrum. Defoliated lower growth again on day 45 before noticing the pistil 48 hours later. Spotted a nutrient burn, and that I haven't been watering until enough runoff so possible nute/salt buildup? I also realised the plant was drooping before feeding so going to increase feed volume to keep the coco more moist. A nice amount of main colas considering her rough childhood. Fed no nutrients from day 47-49, just feeding 5.8pH water to reduce salt content. Water was 60PPM at 5.8pH and after 8L still got 500PPM runoff. Definitely need to change feeding method. Hey all sorry for the late update. Got really busy with work and just wasnt uploading. I had to cull phat Gary cause she was a genetic herm, I’m talking pollen sacks all the way up the main stem. I’ve seen a few stress sacks here and there on the lowers but nothing like this. I added a video of it so you might know what to look out for. It’s my first experience with exotic genetix and while I have heard of them having herm issues before, I have never had anything quite like phat Gary. But, on the other hand, this Gary Poppins #2 is the best smelling plant I’ve ever had. She smells like a straight strawberry soda, just this very fizzy strawberry scent. It’s unreal. Gary Poppins #1 has a similar terp profile, but not as loud and she’s frosty as ever. Both the perm marker s1’s are identical. Both look exactly like the perm marker flower I’ve bought from seed junky in the past. Very lime green buds with light oranges hairs. Smells just like a permanent marker. Couldn’t be happier with how this run is going, well except Phat Gary. Still haven’t decided on Exotic Genetix yet. I guess we will wait and see how Blueberry Gary comes out, she’s currently in week 6 veg. Shout out to the mad scientist Jbeezy though, this perm marker is unreal. When I saw he was releasing s1’s I couldn’t believe it. Gonna wash this entire run for some fresh frozen. I would absolutely love to get this Gary Poppins #2 smell to transfer to some live rosin. Will update this when we finish and I’ll make a diary for blueberry Gary and Gastro pop from compound genetics when I get a chance. This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

Day #22: The day after defoliation day... And for now it seems that the #AutoGelato ladies are recovering pretty fine, but let's not be too enthusiastic... Things can still go wrong in the next few days, but if all goes well I will be bending the ladies down in a day or two... One of the ladies is growing very nice, all branches seem to be growing towards the same height, exactly like you want them to do... Day #24: The Gelato Auto ladies from @Fast_Buds are recovering very good from their topping and defoliation last week. I must say that my LED lights from Lientec LED are helping a lot with their high quality light... Today I will start with LST, so I can create as many 'main'-branches as possible 😋 Day #26: I decided to LST just two plants for now. The rest is growing good and has a lot of branches at even height... I'm also almost at the point that I won't be adding Fulvic to the water anymore. So in week 5 the plans will only have FloraGro and FloraMicro as nutrients. Day #28: Tiny buds are slowly developing over the garden. Plants are still looking extremely good, growth is very good for 8 plants, 2 are a little behind in growth. But they were behind, before topping and LST already... In the new week, the lights will be slowly set to a higher power setting, so when blooming starts, they already have the best light they can get...

With the seeds of the next cycle already germinating in cups of water it was time to harvest the Northern Light Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds. She was moved outside the tent and was given a full hand trim. The entire process took about three hours. As opposed to the Sherbet Queen of last run, the Northern Light was trimmed wet. Drying conditions are 23°C and between 50-60% humidity. She still smells a bit like hay on the second day after harvest, nowhere near dry. On the third day after harvest, the hay smell is stronger. More information once she's dried sufficiently. Ofcourse, I will then also share her dry weight. After some consulting our peer group came up with a range between 65-90 grams. What is YOUR guess?
