9/19 FED TODAY ONLY USED ABOUT A GALLON OF A HALF AND I LEFT OUT BEASTIE BLOOM AS I FORGOT AND WAS IN A HURRY. Wow. Yesterday was quite the day. I smoked a joint of the bud I had taken earlier. It was fire. Trichs look good and I didn't want to risk sustained damage from the storm or earwigs (more later). Took forever but I got the one ten foot blueberry hanging and one of my 5 gallon seedlings. I want to wait a little longer before I took ANYTHING. The seedling is was overdone if anything though. I'll add trichs pics. We are supposed to have some fairly good weather. This brings me to my next point. These earwigs must like blueberries because those three plants are the ones they damaged the most. That and one in a bucket. I mean they fucking strip it. I was going to take a branch off another blueberry as it looked awesome and kept hitting me in the face. I left it. I came back this morning and all the lower part of the branch was stripped. I mean fucking nothing. Im so fucking pissed. You can look on the interior and see secondary and tertiary branches that are just destroyed. Obviously my ice cream cake and a few others need more time. Dreamcatchers are totally unaffected by them. I could take those if I had to but they are fine. I could take the blueberries too if needed but this is when they really bulk up. It's a hard decision to make. Especially when they can work that fast and demolish a plant. If I don't chop I'll be using everything at my disposal today and hunting them after dark. I wonder if they are in the bag? 9/20 Harvested another blueberry yesterday. I left one to maybe catch a frost. I put petroleum jelly on every stalk and branch Of the other plants. Came here this morning to more striped branches further up on the lone blueberry. I don't care about the damage on the 5 gallon small experiment plants but it still sucks. I still don't totally know what is causing this ridiculous damage. As you can see in the pictures the damage is progressing up the plant. I'm cutting the last blueberry today. Trichs are good. It could go another week but with the damage sustained from ONE night I'm not going to risk it. Whatever is eating my plants don't seem to like the dreamcatchers. Luckily. I hope whatever this destructive fucking bug is doesn't move to another plant. I'll be on the look out. I'm ready for this season to end. 9/21 I think I lost a day in my diary. I've been so fucking busy. Took the last blueberry yesterday. Spent hours in the garden. Watered today. Need to do a potassium bicarbonate spray. I'll update later. 9/22 It's raining. Shook off the plants this morning. I cannot believe the rate of flowering. Maybe it's because the last four days I've been working my balls off harvesting and trimming those plants. Ill do a review and a harvest report of the blueberry once it's dry. The stuff is fire. The seedling is crazy too. Trichs are through the roof. I compared with a local dispensary pot and mine was better. Not as good as the dispo I frequent though. There is one on ever corner down here. 9/23 Didn't have time to feed this morning. I'll be back down in a bit and feed. We are expecting rain I guess but I'm not dealing with any mold issues other than the mild WPM. I plan to do a k bicarb spray today. I defoliated everything dead I saw. I've smoked my blueberry and it is amazing. The little seedling experiment I grew in the 5 gallon turned out AMAZING. Some of the densest buds I've grown. Trichs off the charts. Piny citrus taste and heavy sedative effects. Im waiting for the blueberry to at least dry before I do the harvest report. It's nice today. Plants have continued exploding into flower. For now I'll be in trim jail. 9/24 Watered lightly and fed 1 gallon. Started cha ching today at 1/8 tsp. Gallon. Still no idea on mysterious damage. I noticed a bit more. I went over at 4am hoping to find the culprit but nothing was there. We are supposed to have three days of rain. Everyone seems worried. I'm a little worried myself. I cut out a small branch on the middle of the dreamcatcher that had rot. Other than that it's just slight PM on some. I tried to mark damage so I can see what else happens. I'm letting the rest of this stuff ride. I'll do what I can to protect it but it's not coming down early. 9/25 The massive storm descended last night. Winds turned my ice cream cake literally sideways. Dreamcatchers are so fucking sturdy and strong that it would take a tornado to Damage them. The big plant in the fifty gallon pot had some branches that were 90° down. I tried to tie up what I could quickly. I noticed some damage on the ice cream cake. Same as on the blueberry's. I hope I made the right decision waiting this storm out. Defoliated and added supports where I could. Rushed morning.

I’ve got some curling going on. Have been trying to get temp humidity stable so I got a humidity controller and now run lights on timer 6 hrs off. Also my humidity gauge I used to set in the middle of the tent but I now put directly in the pot behind the plant and different readings. It’s one of those cheap humidity temp gauges that comes with led lights. Just need to get this curling thing down. 1 of the plants shows no curl so maybe it’s the fox farm soil is too hot. Or maybe that 1plant got better plant coverage, I’ve since adjusted the fan and may get another one.

Esta semana voy a escribir sobre: CARBÓN VEGETAL ACTIVADO CON MICROORGANISMOS DE MONTAÑA. esta es una práctica avanzada pues al menos se necesita tener el inóculo sólido de Microorganismos de Montaña (MMS), aunque al final intentaré dar otras opciones para aquellos que no tengan MMS. Puedes consultar en la semana 3 la manera de hacer Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/725879 El carbón vegetal es un excelente componente para toda clase se mezclas de sustrato, tiene varias propiedades muy interesantes, ayuda a la estructuración del suelo y la creación de humus, es un regulador térmico en lugares fríos, favorece la expansión de las raíces y su estructura de microporos promueve la retención de humedad y nutrientes, se dice que en 1cm cúbico de carbón puede contener de 8 a 30 millones de Microorganismos. Y es precisamente la propiedad de retención de humedad y nutrientes, de la que se aprovecha esta práctica. El carbón vegetal llamado "activado" que se usa en filtros de agua o aire, tiene mala fama entre los aficionados a las peceras, porque se dice que roba nutrientes, principalmente Nitrógeno, esto tiene una explicación y no es un problema para cultivo en macetas, el carbón seco tiende a absorber humedad y los nutrientes que se encuentra en el sustrato o en los riegos, porque es muy poroso, y de repente, tiene que saturar todos sus microporos, pero esto apenas va a tener incidencia en un cultivo. En mi caso lo que hago es mezclar el carbón con los Microorganismos Sólidos y después lo humedezco con agua y melaza para activar la Microbiología del inóculo, dándole la energía necesaria, de esta manera tengo un carbón inoculado con Microorganismos de Montaña, y una vez en el sustrato, con humedad, estos MM, se propagarán. En este caso el carbón, de momento, no captura nutrientes porque está saturado, pero después de unos riegos, será la casa perfecta donde los Microorganismos y los nutrientes convivirán ofreciendo una fuente extra de nutrientes, para que las raíces se alimenten en periodos de escasez de alimento o humedad. Supongo que quien tenga inóculos bacterianos comerciales, podría usar esta práctica para multiplicarlos. INGREDIENTES BÁSICOS: Agua pura: 500ml Carbón vegetal, para usarlo en macetas conviene que los trozos de carbón no sean grandes. 750 gramos. Melaza: 75g Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): 225g PROCEDIMIENTO: Se mezcla el carbón y los Microorganismos sólidos. Se disuelve la melaza en el agua. Se humedece el carbón lentamente, mezclándolo bien, porque el carbón vegetal puede almacenar mucha humedad y necesita tiempo para saturarse. Se guarda a oscuras durante un mes en un recipiente cerrado. Hasta aquí la fórmula básica, yo hago algunos añadidos, como se puede ver en las fotos. Añado 260g de Leonardita, que es un carbón vegetal con millones de años y en el proceso de convertirse en mineral, aunque todavía no lo es, es además, la mayor fuente de ácidos húmicos y comparte las propiedades del carbón. Añado Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA) de forma líquida para aumentar la inoculación de microbiología, también un lacto fermento de frutas que aporta muchas vitaminas, nutrientes y enzimas... en la última foto se ve el recipiente después de un mes. Siguiendo el principio de saturación previa de los poros del carbón, para mezclas de sustratos, y sin tener acceso a microbiología, se podría, por ejemplo, saturar el carbón con alguna mezcla nitrogenada para el comienzo del cultivo, después el carbón seguirá cumpliendo sus funciones de estructuración de suelos, creación de humus y para retener humedad y nutrientes. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now almost halfway through flowering which is 4 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster last week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also switched the Medic Grow light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of last week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 44" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 40" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 tent is starting to really fill up and they are just now starting to smell. I was out of town all weekend so I was unable to make a time lapse video but I will update next week. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. the weather forecast says 2 weeks of rain, it will be a challenge to keep the humidity low in the house and of course in the growbox.

The effect is quite strong, I just smoked a joint to write a description and suddenly the day ahead of me is feeling quite difficult! I feel flowing with ideas, and very happy. The taste has still yet to develop, as I am only now going into curing. I'll update this once the flavour is a bit more developed :)

Week 12 from seed and not as heavyweight looking. But its been doing good. Ive started flushing it 3 days ago. Ill post about the harvest soon! One love!

Very happy with the grow, big dense nugs with pleasant citrus aroma. Next grow i'll use 3 gal pots instead of 5 with FloraFlex matrix watering system. i'll separate the distance between the scrog nets further apart, so the buds won't lean on each other. Need to dial the light better next time to prevent foxtailing,

From seed - LA Kush Cake - Just about done- Started flush three days ago. Very stinky and sticky now- piney lemon aromas of stankkkk kushhhh La kush cake can run into mid October but going to pull sooner than 15th probably… Caterpillars became very active last week and I’ve been picking one off my my top cola every twelve hours or so :/ … luckily they’ve focused on two specific plants so just babying them now making sure they don’t destroy all my gorgeous work. Lil buggards burrow into the nugs decay the buds fast so precious state right now during this time of year/ state of plant.

Day 36 and I just top dressed with Gaia Green lastnight. I went with 50/50 purpose and bloom at 1bspn in a 3 gallon so that’s 1.5tbspns of each. All watered in with Recharge. They have doubled in size over the past few weeks. Looking good.

No real change other than buds starting to form more. Not one type of plant performing better than another. Took cuttings from northern lights and white widow. They are under 300w led. I cant recommend the 900w viparspectra led enough. Used one last grow with a 600w hps and they are on par yield wise. Run alot cooler!!!
