Top canopy was uneven so supercropped a couple of branches. Top branches are flowering ok but I'm not sure she'll make it too the end, bottom branches looking great. I asked how I can speed up flowering, and I need too cover her for 16 hours a day, can't cover with boxes as rain will destroy the cartoon, don't have a cloth big enough. I'm just gonna wing it, adding some leaves to protect soil from frost, bringing her in when it is forecast to below 6. She'll be flowering until Christmas at this rate :D keeping an eye for hermie

WEEK 14 - HARVEST: The Grand Finale ​🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS The journey of the Monster Maker has come to its successful end. After 9 full weeks of flowering, she reached her absolute peak. The final days showed a stunning purple fade, and the bud density became rock-solid. As seen in the final photos, the structure was perfect, and every site was loaded with high-quality flower. It was time to chop! ​👃 TERPENES & AROMA Even during the harvest process, the scent was overwhelming. The sweet, citrusy tangerine notes have merged with a heavy, spicy, and earthy funk. It smells like a premium dessert with a gassy twist. I expect the terpene profile to become even more refined during the slow dry. ​🌡️ ENVIRONMENT & VPD Final conditions in the tent were kept at 24.8°C and 46% RH (VPD ~1.65 kPa) right until the end. Now, for the drying phase, I have adjusted the environment to aim for a slow, 10-14 day dry to preserve those precious tangerine terpenes. ​💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING The 7-day flush with pure, pH-regulated water was completed perfectly. The plant looked beautifully "starved" and clean, which should result in a very smooth smoke and pure white ash. No more nutrients, just the natural essence of the plant. ​💭 GROWER'S NOTE HARVEST DAY! Seeing this lady without her leaves (the "naked" structure) really shows the success of the LST and training. Every branch held a massive, frosty treasure. Now the real patience begins with the drying and curing process. I am beyond happy with the resin production on this Sweet Seeds masterpiece. The trichomes are 70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. The nutrients have been used up and the lady is allowed to stay a few days before she comes into the darkroom for 48 hours before the harvest. Of course there is an extra update for this :-). Otherwise the week was poured 3 times with 1.2 l. The tent was cleaned and all women checked. Strong genetics, resistant, fast enough, easy to grow and never pretentious. I will try further training techniques on this strain, while waiting to make more room in the box to plant the Red hot cookie as well. I have started flushing with pH-adjusted Flawless Finish solution, expecting to harvest somewhere around the end of this week, although I will continue monitoring pistils and trichs. Upd: Added back 50% base nutrients and some flowering additives after researching some of the first responses to my flushing question. I learn every day. Even that which was scientifically proven true one day, might be even more scientifically proven absolutely false some time later (not related to flushing specifically). Thank you kings! Upd 2: Okay okay I cooked her with some cosmic rays or whatever those Chinese quantum bars emit — purple rays, I'll call it — that's on me. Turned them 30% down to see what's up. Light burn was not on my mind, because otherwise the leaves were not really curving that much, considering that this is 3 weeks overdue wrt advertised. Sorry about that, did not pay enough attention.

I used nature's living soil and PH water only, she came out smaller than I expected but was still a lot of fun to grow and I learned quite a lot.

Raised lights a bits. 2 seeds one 2 gal pot in a 2 gal bucket. Same structure 2 very different smells one turns color. It's tricks for your fucking mind! Left one is very sweet smell. Right one that is turning darker is very rotten skunky. Gavem a prune job cause the lower buds all bleached lookin and need a tan.

Some issues with the leaves. Buds are getting big and filling out. Some neglect on my part again this week.

Day 71. Starting to show some purple, which was unexpected! Removed a few leaves that were overlapping. Day 74: Today was a bit heart breaking. We found a spot with botrytis/stem rot starting to set in. It appears we have discovered it fairly early. After searching treatments, we ended up doing a mix of them to try and avoid losses. Obviously cutting the branch off would be the most obvious choice, but we are trying to keep her as is and do some experiments in the name of growing science. We dusted with cinnamon, which has proven to be efficient in terms of anti-fungal properties, and let it sit for a couple hours. Then, we decided to remove the spot where the rot is showing up. We sprayed with H2o2, scraped out the affected area as much as possible, sprayed again and wiped dry. We then sealed the wound with candle wax. We also spread some more cinnamon on other susceptible entry points for fungus, mostly where leaves had been cut or where the stem was more fragile. We really hope this turns out well and we win this fight against the dreaded fungi. We suspect the raise in humidity this week triggered it. She was in the 30s to 40% last week, but the weather changed and she rose about 60% these last couple days. Pray for us, grower friends. Day 75: Had to remove the side branch that was connected to the main stem at the spot where the rot appeared. 😕 Patched her up and am praying this is the last of the consequences of this situation.. Pushing as much as we can to avoid and chop her early.. Day 77: Gave her the final haircut. 😊 Mold situation appears to be under control. Looking frosty as fuck!
