Amnesia Mac Ganja, also commonly known as AMG, is a Sativa-driven hybrid that won four cups in a row from 2014 to 2017. It’s an amazing strain full of flavor that will put you in the mood for just about anything, and was created by crossbreeding Amnesia with the old-school classic Mexican Haze. On the palate, Amnesia Mac Ganja blends citrus and earthy notes with herbal tea and a lingering spiciness, enough to lure you in time after time. Consumers should know that they’re in for a happy and motivated experience, characterized by an increased sense of focus, creative ideas, and the urge to get things done. There’s some relaxation going on in the back, but not strong enough to keep you in one place. A great strain for daytime use, no matter how you look at it. Medically, Amnesia Mac Ganja shines for people dealing with chronic fatigue, stress, and depressive tendencies. Indoor growers should prepare for beautiful and aromatic ladies that need between 10 and 11 weeks to finish flowering, rewarding them with yields of up to 550g/m² when all goes well. They benefit from LST, reach 120 cm at most, and should be checked regularly for diseases, mold, and pests.

In der Blüte lief leider nicht alles optimal. Neben meinem schlechten Leitungswasser und den daraus resultierenden pH-Schwankungen (u. a. durch enthaltene Stabilisatoren) war mein Living Soil für die Blütephase offenbar nicht stark genug. Nach einer sehr guten Vegetationsphase blieben die Buds in der Blüte dadurch leider relativ klein. Gegen Ende kam zusätzlich ein Kalium-Mangel dazu, weshalb die Pflanze nach 9 Wochen Blüte gemeinsam mit den anderen geerntet und zum Trocknen aufgehängt wurde. Die Trichome waren überwiegend milchig. Nassgewicht lag bei etwa 370 g, trocken blieben am Ende rund 60 g, was im Verhältnis zur Pflanzengröße etwas enttäuschend war. Auch die Temperaturen waren für diese Sativa alles andere als ideal. Ich denke, diese Sorte eignet sich deutlich besser für einen Frühling-bis-Sommer-Run oder Spätsommer bis Herbst, wo Klima ihr mehr entgegenkommen. Aroma AMG riecht einfach geil. Das Profil geht in Richtung milde Kräuter, kombiniert mit oldschool Kaugummi und einer leichten würzig-frischen Note aus Ingwer, Pfeffer und etwas Zitrus. Sehr komplex und genau das, was ich persönlich mag.
