Born from Rare Dankness's pairing of Grape Ape and The OX, Grape OX carries the deep-purple swagger of its lineage in compact, smallish plants that stack dense calyxes and frost early. Open a jar and the room tilts toward sweet grape and blueberry with a little spice; the first pull folds in a hint of coffee from its kush-and-Blueberry ancestry. Expect an indica-dominant ride (about 90/10) that settles the body first: relaxed, tingly limbs and heavy eyelids, then a tranquil, sleepy finish. Typical lab results place THC around the high teens into the low twenties, with occasional batches pushing past 24%; CBD is usually trace but can appear in low single digits depending on cut. Indoors it's a straightforward, medium-yield cultivar that finishes in roughly 60-70 days; outdoors, plan for late October harvests and roughly a pound per well-grown plant. Myrcene leads the terpene stack, with caryophyllene and linalool rounding out the grape-berry, subtly floral profile. Bred and released by Rare Dankness, Grape OX earned recognition with a 3rd place Indica at the 2014 Michigan High Times Medical Cannabis Cup. Growers prize its manageable stature, vivid autumnal colors, and that unmistakable 'purple soda' nose that makes trimming trays smell like candy. Expect tight internodes and easy training in modest spaces.
