This is absolutely ridiculous appropriation by some deceptive and desperate marketing. Mazar I Sharif is a cannabis strain from north Afghanistan that's been cultivated there for centuries! This hybrid that this commercial seed supplier has is "their version" of Mazar I sharif... a skunked, unstable hybrid? What a joke. They take this hybrid and name it Mazar I Sharif, and give a couple vague names of the parents and no real information. I figured the air castle on this one would be much more creative and fantastical. It follows to question the parent lines they are claiming. It begs the question, Was the afghani parent really from Afghanistan? The skunk part, well, that's their marker. That has to be in there.
The reason the real Mazar is so rare and unique is that it has terpene profile dominant in LINALOOL! Not Limonene. The overwhelming majority of commercial cannabis falls into just 3 terpene profiles. Limonene dominated terpene profiles is one of the most common terpene profiles found in commercial cannabis! Imagine thinking you got something unique, you grow it, you smoke it and find out it's a common terpene profile! Something you had before, the same thing you can get in many other hybrids of various names and descriptions.
It shows how gullible the average commercial customer is, and how the commercial suppliers have no problem exploiting the gullible and ignorant to make a lot of money.
