Michoacán, also known as Michoacán Brown, is a pure Sativa landrace from coastal Mexico that offers considerably more sedative effects than other Mexican landraces. This strain became more prominent in the 1960s and 1970s and probably has some African influences. On the palate, Michoacán brings a spicy and earthy flavor with notes of pine and incense. The exhale brings hints of diesel. Consumers are in for a warm cerebral uplift accompanied by slightly sedative and relaxing effects. Expect a social and talkative mindset and a possible case of the munchies. Medically, Michoacán can be considered when suffering from pain, depression, and chronic fatigue. Growers should prepare for tall plants that are well-adapted to coastal humidity. They’re relatively resilient and hardy but clearly prefer warm conditions. Flowering takes between 12 and 13 weeks to complete. Outdoor yields are usually abundant.
