3/18/2021 - Today is the first day - will be adding more info as we go along. I am using a glass of water for the first 12 to 18 hours and then it goes into a paper towel for the next 24 to 48 hours. Should have some long tails by then - we will see...
3/19/2021 - I emptied the glass onto a paper towel and popped the paper towel into a bag and blew into the bag before sealing it. Hopefully in the next 2 days we will have some tails on the beans...then seedlings we have!!
3/20/2021 - We have a tail on one bean folks - the other looks like it might take another day or two - still stoked to have one with a tail, even if it is small so far. Yes, Yes, Yes!!!
3/21/2021 - Both have tails and will be planting a little later on tonight!
Both got planted tonight!!
3/23/2021 - We have life!! Both have taken off like champions...so excited to get going again!!
3/26/2021 - Both seedlings are doing great so far...they are both stretching a little bit further than I want. Gonna lower the light an inch and a half today to hopefully combat that.
- Also turned on my circulation fans today - build up the stem strength.
- They are under a humidity dome right now and should be under that for the rest of this week - really until I up pot them. - thinking of putting them directly into 5 gal in a week to a week and a
half - maybe go with a 7 gal a week or two before putting them into flower.
week of 4/1/2021
4/7/21 - It was a really busy week for me and so I did not get the update up as planned My apologies - however, the week for the ladies was really good. They had no real issues - the stretching stopped and they were ready to transplant on the 3rd of April
During the previous week I put my soil together. It sat for 8 days before I transplanted. Composition is below
reused/recycled 1.5 cubic feet of Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil
brand new 1.5 cubic feet of Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil
amended with:
-8.50 cups of worm castings (Worm Gold)
-0.75 cups of Granular Humic Acids (Down to Earth)
-0.20 cups of Langbeinite (Down to Earth)
-0.50 cups of Seabird Guano (Down to Earth)
-0.50 cups of Insect Frass (Down to Earth)
-0.50 cups of Kelp Meal (Down to Earth)
-3.50 cups of Bio-Live (Down to Earth)
I used this brand before (Down to Earth) and absolutely loved it so I'm using it again.
Week of 4/8/21
- Only watered once this week - 6.2pH - gave each about half a gallon
- Both ladies have done really well this week. #2 has some issues - I think the soil was a little hot for it. Other than that they are both doing really well.
- Plan on topping both early this upcoming week.
Week of 4/15/2021
This week has gone well so far for these ladies...Topped #1 on 4/16/21 and left #2 alone. I'll top #2 tomorrow the 22nd of April.
Watered once with a pH of 6.6
Going to start training in the next couple of days. Mostly LST, just gonna tie some branches down and get a proper canopy started.

Week of 4/22/2021
4/23/21
Topped the second girl today before they go to sleep. - didn't miss and got it fully topped this week!
Gonna water a little later on this week - aim for a pH around 6.2 or 6.4.
4/28/21
Did not end up watering this week - giving a little bit of a drought period.
They look like they love it so far - still no drooping. Gonna water early in their next week and go for the 6.2 range
Noticed a few fungal gnats and that is why I'm going with the drought periods right now
Ordered some sticky traps and gonna get the adult ones and keep the drought periods up to get the larvae - should be here in the next couple of days.

Week of 4/29/2021
Everything went really well this week.
Started the 18/6 light cycle and will slowly titrate down to about 16/8 over the next couple of weeks until flip
I tied #1 back on 4/29/21 - she was growing way too large - I want everything to be roughly the same size before flower so I can trellis (ie. SCROG)
I am leaving #2 to continue growing as she pleases. The internodal spacing is shorter than #1 so she has a ways to go before I'd consider tying her back
Watered on 4/29/21 at 6.8pH and used .4 gallons each and left a runoff of 1.3 gallons for all 5 sharing the same runoff bin

Week of 5/6/21
Both ladies did really well this week.
I turned the light intensity up to 50% on 5/8/21
I amended the soil on 5/11/21...the amendments as follows:
-0.25 cups of Worm Castings (Worm Gold)
-0.25 cups of Insect Frass (DtE)
-0.125 cups of Seabird Guano (DtE)
-0.062 cups of Langbeinite (DtE)
I then watered both at a pH 6.5 -
Gave each 0.75 gallons -
Left a full gallon in the runoff for all 5 ladies in the tent

Week of 5/13/21
Both ladies did really well this week.
Not all that much to report - I am seeing a few signs of some nute burn
Gave them a little much last week...
I got in the Recharge that I ordered at the end of the week and will be watering with it next week.
Hoping the Recharge will help my soil life and help disperse the nutes properly and avoid any more burn.
I am going to defoliate pretty heavily this next week and then flip into flower at the end of the week
I watered both at a pH 6.1 on 5/16/21-
Gave each 0.75 gallons -
Left a full gallon in the runoff for all 5 ladies in the tent

Week of 5/20/21
I mixed the Recharge in at 0.75tsp per gallon after pH got down to 6.8
I then watered in on 5/22/21
Gave each 0.75 gallons -
less runoff this time...gave about a total of 0.50 gallons
Not much else to report with this week. Everything seemed to go well
The Recharge seemed to do really well for these two
They perked right up and have been doing great...maybe a little to big.
Certainly bigger than I had planned...but I'm super excited to see how they turn out
The stem rub is very fruity...like fresh strawberry jam

Week of 5/27/21
Flipped to 11/13 on 5/28/21
I watered in on 5/28/21 at a pH of 6.75
Gave each 1 gallon
Gave them a fairly light defoliation on 5/28/21 before watering in.
The internodal spacing and the leaf formation seems to allow a lot of light to penetrate
They have both grown another 4 or 5 inches this week
Definitely expecting them to at least double their size by the end of stretch
The stem rub is very fruity still, but now there is a little ether/gasoline scent as well. Very excited for the both of them!!

@GYOweed, I think it's about the same speed as most strains. It's in the middle of wk 5, just added it a little earlier than I usually do. I usually wait till the week is over to post but I posted at the start of this week.
Regardless, thank you!! They do all share on led. I've got 5 total under it and they seem to be growing well. I've just got one (Putang from Mass Medical Strains) that's growing a little slower, but even it is looking good.
Thanks again! 🤙👊
@Eauderay, thank you, I appreciate the info. I can raise the light a bit for now. Definitely plan to leave about an inch of space between soil and the top of the pot when I transplant. More, less?
Planning on a week, maybe week and a half to transplant. Let root formation really start...
Going into 5 gal I think, maybe 7.
Thanks again for taking a look and giving me some info, I appreciate any and all folks want to send my way!!
@NugLife420, Thanks - I really appreciate it. I want to find the Kyle Kushman cut of Strawberry Cough but until then Dutch Passion has my back. Thanks!!👊
Hello! Those leaves are so pointy, you have some sativa like strain, they are going to stretch like mad in flower, make sure you have the head space!
So cool if you can already smell some fruity strawberry scent it is promising!
Good luck!
@Eauderay, thank you so much. Im hoping I've got the space, but they keep growing and growing. I think it'll be okay, might get a little close but should outgrow my light(hopefully lol)
The smell is incredible so far. The stem rub is giving me more scent at this stage than any other variety I've grown. So excited.
Thanks again!
@Eauderay, yeah, they have grown like crazy...I think I'm ready for the stretch. Am very excited to see how they turn out.
The stem rubs are amazing. #1 is very fruity and has the strawberry jam thing going on. #2 has that plus a hint of ethanol behind it. I can hardly wait to see how it turns out. Thanks!!
@Eauderay, I've been thinking the same thing. They have grown a significant amount these past couple of days.
I'm thinking of using a system of weights to control the bend.
That, or I've seen some folks supercrop at this stage and am looking a little more into that.
My next update will have the info and pics of what I decided to go with.
Appreciate the advice and support. Stay up my dude!!
