Everything seems ok. alternated feed/water/feed again this week. Kept up with lst this week tucking fan leaves. Started to add “liquid karma” this week. Used the iPhone “photon” app to measure PAR, approx readings from 850 on the sides to 1250 in the middle. My new ph & tds meters have arrived and I will be able to provide more accurate info moving forward.

Week 4- Currently in smaller pots (1/2gal?) Would it be safe for me to transplant into larger pots!(3gal) at this point? Worth the trouble? Would i need to extend the veg?

Hi, absolutely yes I would transplant them now, once transplanted give them a week or so to adjust to their new home before flipping in to flower, hope this helps, happy growing 👍

Big week! 6 of the 9 plants were re-potted into 3gal fabric pots this week with “dynomyco” added to the root base. I also upgraded lights this week to the “Mars hydro SP3000” to replace my Chinese “burple” lights, after testing with the “photon” app I am getting a lower PAR value (850 avg.) but I hope that the change to full spectrum will lead to denser buds and I look forward to the lower power usage. I plan to start finish re-potting the last couple plants and start flowering at the end of this week.

This week was rough, experienced some discoloration on the leaves and found some “bugs” on my plants... likely gnats, or maybe thrips. All the plants went through some light defoliation/lollipopping and were sprayed throughly with “kangen” 2.5ph water as a natural pesticide. Sticky traps have been added and beneficial Nematodes have been ordered and will be applied asap. I have also had some trouble keeping a consistent temperatures in the tent, the new “Mars hydro” light produces a lot less heat than my previous bruple lights resulting in lower temps. I do believe that it is just a matter or “dialing in” the ventilation to compensate for the loss of heat produced if not I will need to investigate and alternate heat source.

No son moscas del sustrato, parece más bien algún tipo de trips negro. Utiliza neem, jabón potásico y algún insecticida de piretrinas.

Bugs kept getting worse this week. I decided to keep the plants in veg this week and to not stress them while I tried to solve the problem. After hosing them down I ended up removing the top layer of soil and replaced it with fresh soil, I also completed a “heavy” defoliation and sprayed with “safers”. After thining the canopy, spraying and putting up many new and larger sticky traps I seem to have turned the tide. I will start the flowering this week and it now seems safe to do so.

Finally switched to flowering this week. They seem to be recovering well from last weeks defoliation. I sprayed with “safers” again this week to try and keep the bugs under control. The nematodes I ordered also arrived and have been added to the soil.

Why are they starting to turn yellow-ish? Is that due to the bugs I’ve been fighting? Is it the beginning of nutrient lockout? Stress from defoliation perhaps?

Hi mate, as they are all showing the same symptoms roughly the same time. It is logical to assume its not a natural deficiency where they have been underfed. The looks more like a PH or root issue. Magnesium and calcium deficiencies are the first tell tale sign of a lockout. Fully check all PH levels and condition of root zone for slimy or dark roots. Soil is very forgiving but it may be worth adding a tsp/ltr of gypsum/water (PH 6-6.3). This will act as a great PH stabiliser. Also epsom salts will give her Magnesium, adding 1/4 tsp to ltr of water and using as a foliar spray just as lights go out or just as light come on. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing.

The fight against the bugs continues. I’ve been catching a fair amount on the yellow sticky traps and have placed new ones in for this week. The “pot popper” nematodes have been added to each pot, although I can’t tell if they've started working or have made any real difference yet. The 3 plants in the smaller pots (on the right) still seem to be suffering from something and are still the brighter yellow color. I may need to repot them perhaps.

A quiet week for these plants, everything seems to be ok or at least as ok as it was last week. I messed up the feeding schedule a bit but will be back on track for this next week. I had one of my small fans fall in to one of the plants at some point which I didn’t find til the next day. But the plant it landed in doesn’t seem effected by it. I also turned my light down at the beginning of a cycle for Maintenance and forgot to turnnit back up so they had a day of extra low light... whoops

Starting to see some nice buds develop across the canopy. I opened up the canopy this week with some defoliation. Also added another sachet of nematodes although I can’t see a difference. I will need to spray with some “safers” again tho...

A slow week, not much change to make note of. The bugs seem a bit better maybe the “pot poppers” are working? Thinkin that I might need to check the run off and make sure everything checks out.

It was a rainy week, and my setup draws outdoor air… so much humidity that my little dehumidifier couldn’t keeps up😞. So now it looks like I’m showing the early signs of powdery mildew, which I have attempted to counter with a apple cider vinegar/ water mix to wash the effected leaves. I also adjusting the lst ties to help space the branches for better air flow while removing some outer fan leaves to reduce crowding. The “pot popper” nematodes I added a couple weeks ago are working great for the bugs, but never the less after “spraying/washing” the effected leaves I hit them lightly, with the “safers” again while trying my best not to spray the buds. I’ve turned down exhaust fan to try and hold some dryer air until the weather clears up. I will be keeping a closer eye on the humidity throughout the day and hope I can keep a handle on the mildew.

This week I haven’t notice any bugs really so I’m happy bout that. Still feels like I’m looking at the onset of powdery mildew tho. I’ve got the exhaust fan going all day and the little dehumidifier going 24/7. I sprayed with a hydrogen peroxide/water (1:8) mix this week to see if that helps… I tried to clean spend leaves but they are somewhat sticky so it’s not easy to worth the damage so it would seem.

it’s a fucking heatwave… I don’t have an ac for the tent so I’ve been seeing 100 degrees for both light and dark cycles, as I run the lights durning the night time. I’ve got the fans on full and I dimmed the light by about a third to help keep the heat down. But my intake air comes from outside so I can’t bring in cooler air for the dark period. I’m sure this stress isn’t good for them, I am trying to make sure to up the water this week.

The last two weeks have been Rough on these girls so I think I’m bout to call it. Didn’t feed this week, lots of water. Still heat damage is disheartening so I think this will have to be good enough the trichomes are mostly milky tho so it should still be good, or good enough anyways

This was a learning experience for me in a small setting. I tried to keep the plants small but overall I feel that it wasn’t enough space. The issues with heat during the heatwave was unavoidable. The problems with the bugs however were def avoidable and my over reaction to them was a mistake. These plants struggled at the end of the cycle and I know they came down earlier then I expected due to the many issues. My next run I plan to go back to autos and I will increase the area per plant in hopes of increasing the airflow to prevent mildew and insects, I will continue to use nematodes as I felt they helped once used properly. I will try the dynmaco again alought I didn’t seem much difference this time it seems that the other problems likely outweighed it’s benefits.
