This girl has been growing nice and steady since she was transplanted into her new 1gal Rain Science bag. I’m going to veg her out in the StealthBox until she gets slightly larger, then I’ll transfer her to the Mars Hydro 2x4 with 2xTS1000 so she can continue to stretch out. So far she’s been happy with her Impello Bio Science organic nutrients and beneficial microbes but once I transfer her to the final pot with homemade living soil I will cut off liquid nutrients unless the plant needs a quick boost. No defoliation or training yet just going to let her do her thing for a while. Every other morning I foliar feed with potassium silicate and ionic trace minerals. I have some kashi mix coming in the mail so I’ll be adding that along with some homemade LABs to the soil. Thanks for stopping by! 🤙😎

She’s getting nice and big and appears to be very healthy! Just going to let her develop a nice root ball while my batch of soil finishes cooking before transplanting her to a 5gal! Defoliate some of the bottom branches and leaves for better airflow. I also mulched the top of the pots with Humic rich worm castings, Bokashi bran and topped it off with some barley straw wet down with LAB Serum.

Transplanted this clone to her 5gal final pot as she was begging for more room! I’m using a homemade living soil for this grow with all of the good stuff! I allowed it to cook for around a month before using so it should be ready to go! I made the mistake of feeding plain RO water right before transplanting.. I underestimated how much she was eating while in the 1gallon pots. A couple days after transplant it was obvious she suffered. She has a slight calmag deficiency which should be corrected as soon as her roots start to venture out into the custom soil blend I made. The soil should have plenty of calcium and trace minerals because I used oyster shell flour, soluble grade gypsum, basalt and a lot of worm castings. Hopefully she doesn’t suffer through deficiencies much longer and will start to recover. Only time will tell! Thanks for stopping by!

Well she keeps growing like the weed she is! I’ve had to start defoliating and trimming off lower branches due to her becoming so squat and wide. Going to keep vegging her out for about another month or longer so that she gets nice and strong before the flowering phase! This week she’s only had structured spring water with LABS and a compost tea made from Fungal activated Malibu compost but no nutrients whatsoever.

She’s becoming an absolute monster and there are no signs of slowing down! I don’t know what to do because I’m running out of room and don’t have the room to accommodate a larger grow space without going outside. Going to wait another week or two before I decide if she will finish off outdoors!

She’s starting to show some pre-flowers! I’m hoping she develops some beautiful big buds! I decided to kick off the flowering cycle with an actively aerated compost tea and then I will revert back to dry amendments & Janong/JADAM inputs.

She grew over 4in in one week after the compost tea. Only downside is that she started to demand more calcium so I decided to top dress with bloom friendly amendments. Powdered gypsum, kelp meal, fish bone meal, bokashi bran & worm castings! She has already started to improve since too dressing so let’s hope that’s the last of that deficiency!

This girl was doing so well but I had to unexpectedly go out of town for a little over a week and she ended up developing a bad immobile deficiency. Unfortunately she was already craving calcium and magnesium before I had left.. I top dressed with gypsum, crustacean meal, kelp meal and basalt but without water it did her no good. When I got back I was surprised to see that she did not wilt at all even with the pot weighing almost nothing. She developed some pretty decent sized buds while I was gone even with the deficiency. Hopefully I can get her back on track so she wont have to deal with nutrient lockout anymore due to extreme under-watering.

I’m a little bit salty about her health deteriorating. I can’t stand when things are going perfect and then something out of my control ruins it. I can’t be too upset though because at least she is still packing on weight, frost & lots of terpenes!

She’s getting closer to chop! I would say about another 1.5weeks max on this girl.. buds are getting fat and frosty and she is full of blueberry terps! I’ve been giving her a diastatic malted barley tea with molasses and bokashi bran to help boost nutrient cycling and she’s been responding very well to that! Was hoping for more anthocyanins but maybe they will appear closer to harvest.

Absolutely!🌱🌹 She looks great!👍 Don't know about you, but as hot as it's been, I'm already fighting temps. I've got a window shaker for AC, and 8" exhaust in the grow room, but I'm still running 70's at night. That's not gonna work for me once further into flower. I only mention this because I know you're probably the closest member of the GD fam to me.👍☺️ Interesting strain, and seed bank too. Guess I'm gonna have to do some more research.👴 Happy flowering my friend!😉✌️

@FreshCoastOrganics, yeah man, you're right. Seems like a small world sometimes. I'm actually from Ann Arbor. Got a nice place up north now. You can probably tell from some of my past pics. So, sounds like you guys were getting soaked down there for a while. Anyhow, nice gift from our fellow Mi/grower. If it's ok with him/her, let me know the GD user name. Maybe us ganders can get a monopoly going.😉 She looks great bro. Happy flowering.✌️

FreshCoastOrganicscommented4 years ago
@Nordynllc, Thank you!! 😎 I definitely have been dealing with an increase in heat and humidity as well. It hasn’t been too bad but it’s probably only going to get warmer for here so we will see what is to come! I’m right in between Detroit and Ann Arbor, not sure if my climate is close to yours? Thank you, this was actually gifted to me by another GD member who happens to only live 20min away from me, small world!! Thanks for stopping by! 🤙😎

She looks really healthy to me. I did notice the red stems, but don't know if that's common for this strain or not. I know one thing. Those teas you're hooking up must be potent, and from The looks of those tips she's really sucking it up. Yeah man, those situations where you have to sky out for more than a couple days can really put the hurt on the girls. Plant, and human.😖 These GD's too. I come back from being away for a few days for work or have my girl write for me because of lack of time and/or sleep, and I have no clue what some of the new posts are or mean.😂 I'd like to learn how to hook up some of the recipes you have someday. Seems like it'd be a lot better than spending the crazy money I do on nutrients. Maybe we could hook up dm or something this winter. I'm just so pressed for time right now it's hard to keep up with everything. Work, the girls, etc...Happy growing bro.✌️
FreshCoastOrganics
FreshCoastOrganicscommented4 years ago
@Nordynllc, Her lower portions are super healthy that’s forsure! But this girl got super dried out when I went out of town and her top portions are covered with immobile deficiency damage along with some light burn due to her being under the lights and almost completely dried out. Unfortunately I have no neighbors or family that are able to take care of my plants if I have to leave unexpectedly so I’m going to look into getting a blu-mat system or auto pot in the future. I definitely know how that goes, with COVID restrictions loosening my work has ramped up to almost 100% so I’m getting busier and unable to get on GD as much as I’d prefer to.. I’d love to share some of the recipes I use, most of them are from Korean natural farming, jadam and general western organic farming techniques. I’d love to though just hit me up anytime! 🤙😎

That has got to be the most GORGEOUS plant I've ever seen.. Like ever. I love how she grew throughout.. I've been seeing more and more of this breeder lately but never really heard of them.. Where can I get these genetics??? (in the US preferably)

@FreshCoastOrganics, Thanks grow bro! I am gonna check it out right now! It's hard to find good seed banks in the US through Google lol.. Ive only found about 2 that I purchase from normally.. But hell yeah I'm all about exploring new seed banks!! Really interested in these genetics! Thanks again growmie!

@Professor_Chaos, Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it! It was actually gifted to me by a friend but I believe he purchased it from a Seed bank online! We both live in the states so if he was able to get it I’m sure it’s still available. This Seed Bank out of Burbank, CA has them available on their site right now, check it out! https://www.gelatoseeds.com/blackberry-moonrocks.html

@Chedderbob112, Thanks mate! She really didn’t need it but she was growing way too wide for my 2x4 tent… ran out of space but if I had it this plant would have been a monster I probably chopped of 15 to 20 lower branches that were fat and definitely would have supported some monster buds! We will see how she turns out though because I just chopped her two days ago! Hoping for at least 3.5oz..
