This girl has been growing nice and steady since she was transplanted into her new 1gal Rain Science bag.
I’m going to veg her out in the StealthBox until she gets slightly larger, then I’ll transfer her to the Mars Hydro 2x4 with 2xTS1000 so she can continue to stretch out.
So far she’s been happy with her Impello Bio Science organic nutrients and beneficial microbes but once I transfer her to the final pot with homemade living soil I will cut off liquid nutrients unless the plant needs a quick boost. No defoliation or training yet just going to let her do her thing for a while.
Every other morning I foliar feed with potassium silicate and ionic trace minerals.
I have some kashi mix coming in the mail so I’ll be adding that along with some homemade LABs to the soil.
Thanks for stopping by! 🤙😎
She’s getting nice and big and appears to be very healthy! Just going to let her develop a nice root ball while my batch of soil finishes cooking before transplanting her to a 5gal!
Defoliate some of the bottom branches and leaves for better airflow. I also mulched the top of the pots with Humic rich worm castings, Bokashi bran and topped it off with some barley straw wet down with LAB Serum.
Transplanted this clone to her 5gal final pot as she was begging for more room!
I’m using a homemade living soil for this grow with all of the good stuff! I allowed it to cook for around a month before using so it should be ready to go!
I made the mistake of feeding plain RO water right before transplanting.. I underestimated how much she was eating while in the 1gallon pots. A couple days after transplant it was obvious she suffered. She has a slight calmag deficiency which should be corrected as soon as her roots start to venture out into the custom soil blend I made. The soil should have plenty of calcium and trace minerals because I used oyster shell flour, soluble grade gypsum, basalt and a lot of worm castings.
Hopefully she doesn’t suffer through deficiencies much longer and will start to recover. Only time will tell!
Thanks for stopping by!
Well she keeps growing like the weed she is! I’ve had to start defoliating and trimming off lower branches due to her becoming so squat and wide. Going to keep vegging her out for about another month or longer so that she gets nice and strong before the flowering phase! This week she’s only had structured spring water with LABS and a compost tea made from Fungal activated Malibu compost but no nutrients whatsoever.
She’s becoming an absolute monster and there are no signs of slowing down! I don’t know what to do because I’m running out of room and don’t have the room to accommodate a larger grow space without going outside. Going to wait another week or two before I decide if she will finish off outdoors!
She’s starting to show some pre-flowers! I’m hoping she develops some beautiful big buds! I decided to kick off the flowering cycle with an actively aerated compost tea and then I will revert back to dry amendments & Janong/JADAM inputs.
She grew over 4in in one week after the compost tea. Only downside is that she started to demand more calcium so I decided to top dress with bloom friendly amendments. Powdered gypsum, kelp meal, fish bone meal, bokashi bran & worm castings! She has already started to improve since too dressing so let’s hope that’s the last of that deficiency!
This girl was doing so well but I had to unexpectedly go out of town for a little over a week and she ended up developing a bad immobile deficiency. Unfortunately she was already craving calcium and magnesium before I had left.. I top dressed with gypsum, crustacean meal, kelp meal and basalt but without water it did her no good. When I got back I was surprised to see that she did not wilt at all even with the pot weighing almost nothing. She developed some pretty decent sized buds while I was gone even with the deficiency. Hopefully I can get her back on track so she wont have to deal with nutrient lockout anymore due to extreme under-watering.
I’m a little bit salty about her health deteriorating. I can’t stand when things are going perfect and then something out of my control ruins it. I can’t be too upset though because at least she is still packing on weight, frost & lots of terpenes!
She’s getting closer to chop! I would say about another 1.5weeks max on this girl.. buds are getting fat and frosty and she is full of blueberry terps! I’ve been giving her a diastatic malted barley tea with molasses and bokashi bran to help boost nutrient cycling and she’s been responding very well to that! Was hoping for more anthocyanins but maybe they will appear closer to harvest.
