Hy seeds gelato

johannes gelato from Hy-Seeds 1st week above ground, the lamp we are using is a 55-watt LED lamp from agrow. We have it hanging in an old 80 cm aquarium where we keep the little plants; since this is a closed space, we can nicely control the humidity. For the soil, we just use potting soil and we give the little plants regular tap water. No nutrients at all.

johannes It's going well, I actually have nothing to report, no changes compared to last week.

johannes Our ladies are doing well, next week they will move to another grow space with bigger pots and more light. Then we'll also start with nutrients. The base looks nice, the little roots are growing out from under the pot, so it's time to move.

johannes they're in the box, with 600 watt grow light. on 50 liters of soil with perlite. the soil has light nutrients and lava meal. this week we start with dutch pro roots 2 ml and nitrogen. the gelato is not a fast grower and sensitive to changes. the humidity is at 50% with the light on.

johannes The ladies are growing nice and wide this week we're going to continue in the same way from next week we're going to increase CO2 to 1200 ppm.

johannes gelato isn't growing very fast, so we've turned on the CO2 system for the last 2 weeks. We're giving 1300 ppm with light, and now you can see that it's growing harder. We've also raised the temperature a bit to a max of 31 degrees. Right now, we're giving 1.3 EC in growth nutrients. On to the next week!

johannes we've set the clock to 12 hours for the past 24 hours after adding 1300 ppm for a week. the plants are looking nice, although I keep saying it's a slow grower; the plant isn't getting big. due to the heat, I've discovered thrips and will be spraying with neem oil and a bit of emulsifier this week. the light is now running at 90%, so a solid 1100 watts. we've already trained the plant a bit over the screen. on to the next week.

johannes we have started with low stress training, the plant is growing steadily. I don't see thick stems, so it stays small. Tomorrow we will spray against thrips, it looks like we are just before visible flowering. We are giving an EC of 1.4 pH is 6.2

johannes we are in the flowering stage, it's a delicate plant that isn't really very strong, for example, it can't handle the fan if it's on high. you immediately see damage on the leaves. we are giving an EC of 1.4 with a pH of 6.2. I'm not really impressed with her; she stays skinny in her buds, and the stems aren't getting very thick, so she won't grow big. and since I prefer to grow cola buds, this isn't for me. but we'll stick it out, on to next week.

johannes because it's very warm outside, the temperatures inside my place are rising to 35 degrees. I see that the plants aren't suffering too much from the heat, but we are giving extra water. This makes the humidity high. With the light off it's 80% and on it's 47%. We're keeping an eye on things for spider mites. The EC is 1.4 and the pH is 6.3. Nutrients are given twice a week, until next week.

johannes despite the heat from last week, things are going well. a bit of trouble with thrips. we feed every other day and the plants are doing better because of it. we also regularly give a bit of PK 13/14 to boost them more. I think it's doing reasonably well in pre-flowering, and if it grows denser, it will be even better. on to next week.

johannes Despite the heat, things are going well. We do have a dehumidifier running when the lights are off that brings the humidity back to 45%. Last week, we also gave 2ml of pure N per liter once, and the leaves turned a bit yellow. On to next week!

johannes The ladies are doing great, we're going to continue with bloom nutrients and top Viagra for one more week, and occasionally a bit of PK 12-14. There's a dehumidifier that keeps the humidity at 50% with the lights off. The buds are starting to show some color, and starting next week we'll begin flushing.

johannes the ladies are walking to the end tonight I'll give them the full dose of nutrients then we'll flush for 2 weeks. and the light will go to 8 hours of light.

johannes I expected more from it, it's not a big producer and watch out, don't give too much water.
