Week 7
Week 7 of Veg. for the first batch, week 5 for the second batch.
It will make me switching to 12/12 cycle in about 3 weeks, making the 10 weeks maximum of Veg. for the first ones and 8 weeks of Veg for the late ones (exceeding 10 weeks Veg. indoor is a waste of time, energy, and money).
I had to use 38 seeds in total, to get 21 plants. Some seeds didnβt sprout, others got stuck in the soil of the cup and didnβt came out. Making a winning ratio around 55%.
I have topped all the plants, but might not go for a ScrOG, as it will take too much time to fill up the screen. Will see.
I have controlled the drain, and know approximately the E/C and pH levels of each plants. I will keep on controlling them every 2 or 3 times on a watering day. Some plants were too high and exceeding max levels for this stage, others were just below the maximum. I have increased the amount of water used by plants for watering too increase the drain to about 20%, this will avoid the E/C to raise and pH to drop.
I will transplant them in a week or 2, I can see some roots starting coming out of the bottom of the pots, from the holes. The RootBooster is doing a great job.
Plants are doing much better every week, theyβre growing and taking more place. I will have to switch on the 2nd HID when transplanting them.
Got some lil fungus gnats, they arenβt really a problem for the plants. But itβs better to control them with sticky pads otherwise theyβre going to invade the room and will finish to stick on the buds.
Stay tuned for the next week π
(Iβm looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)
@JUNGLE_B4RNS,i started with Led to do indoor growing. And those Quantumboards are awsome.
Just needs alittle to get the settings done, not to blast the little ones. But its huge difference to the LED 3 Years ago, big steps are done in direction great technic
iam abig Friend of good working technic.efficient and mindblowing
@Mrs_Larimar, the quality of the spectrum is perfect, itβs like daylight. But the craziest thing is the light penetration where you can get buds on the bottom legs and have 3 layers of buds .
@Mrs_Larimar, Lemon Cream Kush is absolutely remarkable. It is extremely vigorous from seeds to harvest. It will need P-K and N to support the stretch and the flowers development. As a Kush it will be ready in 8 weeks. The smell is surprising, itβs a thick creamy lemon, like a whipped lemon cream, it should be very nice and pleasant to smoke.
@Mrs_Larimar, I will finish it with harvest reports and some bud porn. Itβs been a long time I havenβt been into problems, some seeds not germinating, EC too high and too much N... hopefully fixed right in time before switching to 12/12
@JUNGLE_B4RNS,but thats the way to go..... i feed my girls very individual, too..... ( and watering).... looking super fresh in your growroom
I hope very badly, you keep this diary up and finish it to participate.... i love your grows , and such an educational diary is very good.showing problems and showing how to solve,,, perfect
@Mrs_Larimar, Oh yes Maβam, the genetics are very different from one to another, some plants are using 500ppm in a week when others only used just a bit more than a 150ppm... This crop requires a total control for each strains every 2 watering, and different feedings schedule... what a joy π
@Mrs_Larimar, for the next diary Iβm thinking about adding my feeding/watering schedules and the EC levels. Splitting the weekly comment in 2 parts, like some kind of description with the formulas used.
@SpliffSeeds, you guys have very good genetics. All of them are making fat and dense buds. None of them have made a pollen sacks, they are all 100% and totally feminized. None of them is making fluffy and smooth buds, they are doing very well ππππ
