No change in growth rate; relatively low maintenance at this stage.
Hungry little plant, root base is thriving.
I’m Using advanced nutrients with this plant, the voodoo juice really does the trick in the beginning.
I’ve noticed that as soon as I start the bloom cycle in these smaller buckets that my PH goes up very quickly, it is also starting to require a lot of cal mag; this plant will require a lot of monitoring from here on out to ensure optimal conditions; still growing very well.
This week has seen a real change in this plant!
She has grown in height about 3.5 inches, we lifted the light to accommodate that growth.
She has ramped up trichome production this week and flowers have doubled in size, she has a fragrant and fruity smell.
At the beginning of this week I fitted this plant to a larger reservoir( from 12litres to 30litres) in hopes that I could stabilize the solution PH. Even with acute diligence over the conditions of the deep water culture, it has been hard to regulate the fluctuations PH in the optimal range.
I am hoping that the upsize will help me in my effort to love this plant the right way 💜
She Seems to be steadily packing on the weight;
She has a fruity sweet, sharp and perfumey aroma.
So far this has been a very hardy little autoflower, I admire her beauty everyday 💜
Next week we start the overdrive stage; almost on the home stretch.
This is the beginning of the “overdrive” stage, where we switch out the bloom booster “big bud” for the late phase bud ripener “overdrive”.
We’re really on the home stretch now.
I hope to see some gains this week, and some colour development would be welcomed aswell.
Stay tuned 💜
First notable difference between weeks is the colour!
She is taking on a purple/pink hue.
The aroma of this plant has really ramped up in the last week.
She is now looking super frosty; and is much more oily to the touch ( I try not to tough often)
Still very few amber trichomes, so I think I’ll be right on par with my harvest time in about a week and a half.
This week we flush!
She’s been started on a regiment of flawless finish and fresh water to clean out and flush the rest of the nutrients, she’s still developing that beautiful purple hue and getting more frosty everyday; I’ll be monitoring very closely, and harvesting when she is ready 💜
Overall I feel like this plant did very well without much complaint given some of the circumstances.
There were a few instances where the PH went neutral, and the water got a little warm; that hurt, and it showed.
Considering a few hiccups along the way, I am proud of this little plant, and the bounty it has provided.
It’s flowers are sweet, dank and pungent.
Beautiful plant, and I think it’s a good yielding strain.
I would be happy to grow this one again.
