Welcome to a new diary! We began growing around this time last year, and after 1 failure and 1 success we're back with our first SOG method. This is going to be a tight fit; it's a 24x24x55 inch tent, so I fully expect a smaller yield than if I was attempting this in a 36x36. That said, the last grow we did filled the tent but the buds were airy, so we're looking to do less LST and let the bud sites grow together this time. We're using 5 gallon fabric pots, with each filled with about 3.5-4 gallons of soil.
Germination went well with all 3 seeds. They've been refrigerated since September and in a de-hydrated container, but they sprouted their tails after 48 hours in water. All three were planted and have taken root. Two of them look fairly healthy; the other one looks scraggly coming up, but it might not be fully opened yet so we'll see. I soaked the soil with plenty of Big Bloom for micronutes and just a tad of Grow Big -- learned from last time to get plenty of micronutes into the soil to start the process. If we can finish this in 10-11 weeks I'd be ecstatic, but knock on wood.
I'll update at the very end of this "week" (Friday) and start the journal proper, but we're starting on 18/6 light. Temps are in the low 70s during the day, 60s at night, with a humidity hovering between 40-55% depending on the day. With spring coming those temps and humidity will kick up soon.
Good luck with your grows! -4RockandStone
