Alrightie! Week 9 and we're trucking along.
So this is the first week where I haven't been terribly pleased with the results. First, these plants haven't been stretching in their flowering phase like I anticipated. That probably means lower yields than I'd like, which is a shame. I'd be happy if she grew another foot in height, but as we're nearing the end of early flower I don't see that happening. I'm guessing they'll top out between 15-18 inches; about 3-4 inches shorter than I'd hope.
Second, all are showing early signs of nute burn. The runt of the litter (far back-right corner) has shown it the worst on one lower cola that I hesitated to lop off last week (it was beneath the lollipop cutoff but I kept it anyways). I've cut back on nutes this week to strictly the Fox Farm, with maybe some of the molasses later if it seems to even out this week.
All to say, this week I'll be keeping a keener eye on the operation. The good news is that she looks like she'll be ready in 4-6 weeks, so not much longer to wait!
Good luck with your grows!
