Although technically this is my first grow, I'm counting the other diary as my first. This was a bag seed that survived the grinder, so not real sure what to expect. So far it's a champ! Survived the grinder and a 4 foot fall during the first transplanting.
Growing like a weed!
Gave her a mild dose of nutrients at the end of this week. (day 13) She seems to have responded well.
Also, added about 3 inches of space from the CFL lights on day 13.
She grew 1.5 inches this week! Half an inch of that in the last day.
Start of week 3.
*Day 15 - FIM after 4th node - My first attempt at "FIMing" anything. Topping I'm familiar with (in my garden), so I'm curious to see the difference.
*Day 16 - looking happy and healthy.. nothing new to report
*Day 17 - more of the same. took a couple of fan leaves off.
*Day 20 - tucked a few leaves today. She's getting bushy!
*Day 22 - Noticed a slight smell in the tent.
*Day 23 - Started LST - Leaves with the tips missing are remnants from FIMing. Smell is definitely there... kinda sour
*Day 24 - She took to training very well. Also, she's 16 inches across now.
day 29 - woo, almost a month old
day 30 - thinned her out a little and popped a couple of clones in peat pods w/rooting hormone. (fingers really crossed it's a girl now!) she was almost 2 feet across when I cut her back today. looks to have improved light penetration. also, the smell is getting sweeter. Probably going to go another 2 weeks with veg.
** day 30 - noticed she had a couple of 11 pointed leaves opening. while looking through a few pics I snapped I noticed something else 😉. I've had a brown spot on one leaf for a while, a bug got in my tent, but today I noticed even the brown spot is happy!!
Day 33 cut her back a lot. Trying hard not to over do it
