First Grow here!
Lot of reading and prepping up so the final setup was:
A 60x60x160 Royal Room grow tent with a carbon filter and a ventilation fan pulling more then enough air from my growspace, so aeration and CO2 renewal is covered.
For lights I went with a ViparSpectra V600 which is a pretty decent light with a good PAR output, full spectrum and veg and bloom switches.
Inside I have a humidifier to control the humidity during the seedling stage that is about 70% to 80%, and I'm reading a stable 70%, temperature flows around 22º; plus a small fan to keep the airflow inside.
I read that 2 plants would be the best for the space I have, but I went a little greedy and got 3 planning on using LST to maximize the space since I also have a pretty strong light.
I germinated the seeds placing them in distilled water for 12 hours till they sink so they hydrate and then finished using the common paper towel method. All 3 seeds germinated perfectly! so kudos to RQS on that. From there I put them directly in the final pot, which is 11L to avoid any stress since it's an autoflower and every day is important to maximize yields.
The soil is also a light mix (light fertilized), enough for one or two weeks of food with some added Plant Magic Mycorrhiza which boosts roots growth, composed of 80% soil, 10% perlite for airy soil so roots can expand without a struggle, and 10% vermiculite for water retention since I couldn't find coco in my area. The reason I have a low fertilized soil is that I'm gonna start giving them nutes on a pretty fixed and strict schedule using Advanced Nutrients and want to have control on much feeding is being done. Starting after the first week, around the 10th day with small dosage to acclimate the plant to them first.
I'm also growing a Hulkberry Auto and a Fat Banana Auto, all from RQS, which I'm gonna also put in a diary.
Fingers crossed!
Everything seems to be going good so far. Good growth, healthy look, conditions inside the grow tent are pretty sable and on point about humidity and air flow. I considered using CO2 to maximize, but being a first grow and being able to provide fresh air to the grow space and the fact that my ventilation system is strong enough for a tent double the size, I think it should be pretty fine.
Started my nutes feeding and its goes like this :
Late Seedling Stage (nutes begin) - Started 3 of April
3rd of April to 8th of April (day 10 to day 15)
0.5ml/L - Grow / Micro / Bloom
1ml/L - Vodoo Juice / B52
About 0,5l to 1l of water every time the top start to feel drier
3 of April - 0,5ml watering
6 of April - 0,75ml watering
(2 weeks)
Lets see how it progresses :)
Hey Guys! Everthing is pretty much ok. Its been a little bit more tricky to have a constant humidity and temperature, but all is good and I just dial in the ventilation, the humidifier or refres the air of the grow room where the tent is.
A little hiccup that come with my eagerness that luckily didnt got any bigger besides a few burned tips.
I got a little excited and kind wing the led distance from the canopy. Turns out it was way to close. After a throughout search through the internet i kinda figure the little burned tips in some leafs resemble more of light burn. Pull it up to 70 cm and all is fine and thriving.
Nutes Schedule for the week:
Vegetive Stage
8th of April to 13th of April (day 15 to day 20)
1ml/L - Grow / Micro / Bloom / Vodoo Juice / B52
0,5l to 1l of water every time the top start to feel drier
Watered 1.5l 09/04
(3 weeks)
Hey Guys!
Here goes some updates :
During this 4th week i decided to do a measurement of the runoff ph, that too my surprise was WAYYYY to low. in between 4.5 and 5. Of course being a noobie I went a little crazy, going through the internet for some information.
Don't get me wrong, plants looks amazing, especially after the low stress training done this week. It's really thriving and building up all those potential bud places, still I'm picky and the ph bothered me, so besides there being big number of variables to this I went straight to the source and contact Advance nutrients growers support where I got amazing reply and guidance.
Seems like instructed by them I was getting too little run off, even though I'm feeding nutes around 1/4 of the dosage recommended, I should be getting about 10 to 20 % runoff per feed to get all those extra salts and minerals out of the medium avoiding high concentration which will lead to nutrients lockup. I don't think I'm there yet as plant seems to be doing very well but what do I know, I don't have much to compare with besides of a few grows I follow here.
Nevertheless I flushed the medium a little, and a few hours later I could read a little higher PH, almost reaching 5. Hopefully i can rise it to 5.5 at least in the next couple of days.
Another hassle was that I broke an Hulkberry Auto I was growing, FU*#ing broke my heart by I learn the lesson, dont be anxious, let your babies grow to at least 15 cm, then train them, otherwise, it might crack! I repotted a new Hulkberry though :D
For the good side of thing is that the LST on this plant is looking AWESOME! you can really see her opening up, letting all that light in and multiple colas seems to on its way.
I started of slow, and doing retouches every other day, nothing major, just little tweaks. Since Im growing maybe a plant to many in this grow space its gonna be important to educate the ladies to take the most out of it.
I did some minor defoliation on some bigger leaves covering big areas or possible bud areas of the plant.
Feeding Schedule for this week, but as you have read, we are flushing some to raise the soil PH to a comfortable level:
Late Vegetive Stage
Low stress Training
13th April to 23th April (Day 20 to day 30)
1.5ml/L - Grow / Micro / Bloom
1ml/L - B52 / Bud Candy
0,3ml/ - Biobizz CalMag
Watered 1 liter 14th April
Watered 1,5 liter 18th April (ph runoff 4.5/5)
20th April flushing to raise PH
(4 Weeks)
Any advices on this would be greatly appreciated :D
Hey guys!
Been trying to correct the ph runoff and I can see slow improvements, but the plant seems healthy so i'm not to worried.
LST been growing great and the plant is taking a very nice space and a well leveled canopy.
I've been doing some minor defoliation to open up some light to otherwise shaded places, and by day 35 I did a bigger one prepare for the flowering, which is starting, which brings me to say this is a pre-flower week. It's wierd though since the data sheet for RQS say she flowers in 7-8 weeks. But it is what it is and I roll with it :)
I also got some extra nutrients to better follow the feeding schedule im following, some Piranha for root expansion and sensyzime for clearing of the soil and dead roots.
Next investment is a tds and ph pen, got a cheap one but both dont seem to be working very accurately so gonna invest in higher quality ones, especially the tds pen.
Watering Schedule
23th April to 28th April (Day 30 to day 35)
1.5ml/L - Grow / Micro / Bloom
1ml/L - Voodoo Juice / Piranha / Bud Candy
Watered 3,5 l 26/04
Runoff of 20%
Watered 2.5 l 29/04
Runoff of 20%
Week 6 is here and with it that flowering mode!
Plant seems to really be drinking up now, needing a feed every 2 day. And having that little growth spur common during the flowering and starting to grow a pretty cool pistils punk style.
Nothing more to point, everything seems to be pretty much on autopilot. But im noticing a increasing difficult controling the temp and humidity inside the grow tent now that the weather is warmer and the plants are bigger. Probably will look into it soon.
Till next week!
Feeding schedule
28 of April to 3 of May (Day 35 to day 40)
2ml/L - Grow / Micro / Bloom
1ml/L - Voodoo Juice / Piranha /Big Bud / Bud Candy
0.3/l - CalMag Biobizz
Watered 2.5l 29/04
Nutes - 6.2ph
Runoff - 5.2 ph
Watered 3.5l 02(05
Nutes - ph 6.2
Runoff - ph 5
Watered 3l
04/05
Nutes - 6.2
Runoff - 5.3 ph
Not much to add this week.
Plants seems to be thriving and going strong. Ever since i did about 10%-20% runoff runoff ph seems to be slowly rising and no since off issue on leaves.
Also another note : Kudos to the root expander set of Advanced nutrients. Bought a cheap ph soil reader on amazon just for the kicks and when i went to poke in the soil, its just a massive block of roots, even the top layer is covered with a super strong network off tinny roots. I have to say, I am impressed! Hopefully the results will show in the yield :D
Ive been mainly weighing the pot and its seems to be religiously every two days the it need a feed, about 3 liters for 0.5l of runoff.
I bought a Bluelab conductivity pen so pretty soon I'll be updating also the ppm of the nutes and runoff. Also gonna try to start photographing fancy and doing some editing on some photos, so stay tuned!

I've got this schedule for A-Train autoflower schedule but this broken weeks is being a hassle, so will probably readjust for future grows. Check it out thought, very nice reading

Hey guys!
So here we go! buds are starting to grow in size. The amount of trichomes is staggering, and im spending more and more time under the microscope looking at them. I've taken a few nice pics that I've uploaded that I color corrected and such, keep in mind its more for the fun of it them to be an actual representation of the plants. It was taken under more blue/red led so it tend to be tinted a little bit to much on the reds and purples but you can definitely tell the plant has some sort of natural color to it.
So now for the bad part, did a mistake in the nutes mixing in one of the feeds. Got a little bit too excited about my new bluelab conductivity pen and dosed (i think) for 5 liters when i was actually using 3. Was not happy about that... Im going to be using half the dose in the next feed and see what come out in the runoff, but wanted to avoid to flush when i need to flush in a week to harvest. Oh well... let's see what reading i get. Only got minor, like really minor tip burn, still im kinda aiming for weight, to see how much you can pull of an autoflower, so lets hope it hasn't stress her much.
Watering has been done mostly every second day with 3 liters and having about 0.5l runoff.
@GMSgrows, Indeed! cannot complain. Bought a fancy bluelab ppm pen to nail the feeding also :). Im super curious how much im going to get. been checking yours also. Super nice mate!
