This will be my first attempt at growing under a LED light so I'm figuring there will be a bit of a learning curve.
The good folks at Viparspectra have been kind enough to supply me with their xs2000 to test out for them .
First off the lamp was shipped in a very discreet box with no hint of the contents , very nice for those that like to be private about their hobby
It seems quite solidly built and comes out of the box ready to plug and play, including a pair of ratchet hangers.
As for the grow I am going to give fastbuds Gelato a try. I soaked the seed for about 20hrs then put it in a rapid rooter tucked in a 1liter airpot filled with soil , I put a bag over it for a humidity dome and then set it under the lamp at about 30" high and at 30%power 48hrs later she breached the surface.

I see that you are keeping the bottom of the pot off the ground using a metal rack. I'm doing the same thing as I am guessing it improves air flow to the soil, prevents the pot from sitting in a pool of run-off and makes it easier to collect the run off for TDS measurements?
