@DWCbuds, I hear you there. I got some really good hooch given to me. It was the platinum OG and Kalia kush. This was some really great tasting and potent as well. Got a few seeds from both and out of 7 planted, 2 turned out male. These plants are more tall growers and fill out as they gain height. Stalk near the top of the outdoor plants are near the size of a bic lighter already. Leaves are massive... pistols are fattest I have ever seen coming out of the calyxes. Can't wait to see what these will do...

@DWCbuds, Rdwc was my main growing platform for near 20 yrs. Some nice bud for sure. But, the work involved has gotten to be to much over time., so when my bud showed me the promix hp he grew in and his bud was comparable to dwc and no cleaning out buckets, no risk of floods, and no cal/mg and no chillers running, got my interest. So this is where I am now. Peat grower... the new promix is so airy that it's getting close to coco for no worries of overwatering. Most of the buds I have grown turn out better than the rdwc as I have found that peat growing turns out rock hard nuggies that don't lose much size in the drying process. I grew some pretty monterous bud in dwc and when drying time came it disappointed me terribly as the water left the bud. Worst but best looking was a great white shark grow. Football size buds, I figured was gonna be a 2 lb haul and all I ended up with was 20 ounces. That was my last grow in rdwc. Went to promix hp and have never looked back.. These nugs are so hard there is no squeeze to them. When fully dried I usually end up with 25 to 40 % of what the wet weight was.
