In full preparation for the set up of this unique brand. It will also be the first time that I work with auto flowers. So I still have some reading to do. That's good because I have to end the white widow first and they have 1 or 2 weeks.
My idea is to plant 4 inside in my 1x1 meter box, and 1 in the garden. So that's gonna have some interesting comparisons to make.
May 1. Start of the germination of this exiting seeds with smart start of Zamnesia. I prepared the soil with monster bud using 5 liter pots. Start of new venture!😎
May 3. Two seeds of the four popping open
May 7: Very disappointed with the result of the germination. I underestimated the proces. I never had a bump before. But I really fucked up 50% of the seeds 2/4.
May 5. I'm a little bit worried about the two other seeds, no sign of life yet. The two seeds that popped open just made entrance to the world. (see picture)
Find myself with 2 plants in steed of 5 intended. The germination proces was a big failure. I still leave the pot's in the closet but I know better. It's not gonna happen anymore and that's a shame. I was looking forward to this growth. Wel let's go for 2 lady's but view to the price of this unique seeds I can't hide my disappointment.
For the first time I use root juice in the first week mixed with some bio heaven. Folowing the Light Mix schedule from BioBizz. I don't have the Acti Vera jet. It will come soon.
Bad start! But the two lady's that germinated look good.
Very nice week, not much to say. The two plants look good. The acti-vera arrived so I can now fully follow the nutrient schedule. I choose for the light version as a guidance but diminished it by half, thinking that giving slightly less is better for me.
First time doing LST. I use pipe cleaners because they are soft. The plants took a grow sprint this week. All looking very healthy. I'm just doing a half of the nutrients of the light schedule of BioBizz.
On Thursday this week I did some defoliation. The leaves of these lady's are very big so the lower future buds get no lights.
The plant has gone in to flowering mode. I was surprised to see this so early in the growth. It's my first time I grow auto flowers but this is behind my imagination. So early the buds make they're appearance.
Two plants, two identities! when the smallest of the two is 25 cm, the other one likes a stretch and reaches 47 cm, almost double. By the end of the week I stopped giving water tot let the lady's work a little till the earth looked dry and the leaves starting to curl a little begging for water and food. So this Sunday I gave them plenty. The buds occurring look long and very tin. It definitely has a different grow pattern than the white widow I did before this. Is this typically for auto flowers ?
Surprise, surprise! One of my lady's turned out to be male. In this time of gender hybride models, it's a welcome gift. So I have put out of the room and in to the garden. I will use him to grow seeds of this unique blend. The flowers on the female plant are looking very nice.
This plant looks really juicy. The buds are very big and I'm looking forward to smoke them. There is a problem with the leaves coloring yellow (see photo) It's bizar as the second plant don't seem to have this issue. Anu thoughts welcome on that. I will stop with the nutrients and let the lady have here last two weeks on water only.
WoW!!! The lady rocks. The buds are so fad and sticky. Trichomes still milky so I will wait a bit longer to harvest this magical lady. Problem is the brown leaves, I think it's because the 24 hours schedule. Might need to reduce it in the future towards the end. Stopped nutrients at the beginning of this week. All seems in place in a couple of day's.
The growing proces was a challenge in all it's stages. Probably I was to reluctant and not focussed enough. After all I was having top seats! I learned that the seeds don't make the grow, it;'s the grower that is doing that. It was my first auto flowering, and it was the first time I did some LST, it was the first time that I did curring . I'm happy with the outcome. It was a stiff learning proces with a lot of trouble from the gentrification (two seeds failed). The vegetation stage - in week 3 I didn't top the plant and later I regreted that decision. And in the flowering period I had a major problem with yellow leaves appearing in the buds what leads to having several rotten places in the buds.
the harvesting was an explanation of the proces. Buds started to moister and I Had to cut parts of the buds infected.
With 33 grams on such a small plant I can't complain. I was amazed on the many hours (3) to clean the buds before curring. Several buds had rotten places because of the yellow leaves, they died and caused this problem Luckily I stopped in time and dived a little bit earlier in harvesting here highness.
