She is starting off growing vigorously. Hope she turns out to be a decent plant! Haven't had any white widow in a while so I am looking forward to getting her finished! Still have a bit before that. Will be a fun grow. She is the first one I am growing from start to finish under a Mars hydro ts1000. Will see if it is a good investment. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

There isn't much to be said for her so far besides she is getting established. The last couple days she has put on the most size since breaking the surface. Hope keeps growing vigorously. Curious to see how good 00 seeds quality of genetics are! Time should tell. Looking forward to this journey to the harvest! She is growing under a Mars Hydro LED light. She is in a mix of 35%Fox farms ocean forest soil and 35% coco loco coco coir with 30% added perlite by volume. Once she starts to flower she will be topped dressed with Dr. Earth's flower girl and kelp meal. About every 2 weeks I will top dress until there is around 3-4 weeks until harvest. I won't add anything after that point for nutrients. Looking forward to watching her grow. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Last week went well for the most part. She put on size like I would expect for her age. What I didn't think was possible happened... she started showing signs of preflower already. Hope it is just a fluke with this seed. I bought a bunch of seeds from this breeder and I don't think this is the best example of their genetics with how it is starting off. Time will tell for sure how it will go. I'm going to just let her grow natural with just some minor lst. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Last week went as well as it could have. Her health has been fine. She has put on some height but because of her node spacing and strange form I decided to use lst only. Started showing signs of preflower around the time I would usually top my autos. Not sure what the situation is but I hope it doesn't happen again. Seems like it will be a single cola without any real side branches. I can hope it turns out to be good quality. I started it the same as all of my auto seeds and you see the outcome. Until next time happy growing to everyone! 5/11- seems like she is going to be a beautiful girl even if she doesn't get as big as I had hoped. I am happy I didn't remove her when she showed premature flowering signs at week 2 of veg. She has made up some size the last week but earlier I noticed the calyxes looked different. Upon further inspection I was able to determine that they are going to be a beautiful purple. Can't wait considering it's one of ones I never expected to turn colors. Will update as she progresses. Happy growing to everyone!

Last week went well. Started spraying the far side bottom branch with colloidal silver to reverse it so I can make feminised pollen from the purple white widow auto and cross it with other autos to make my own feminised autoflower crosses. Want to try for a purple strain and a big one. Time will tell if it works out. Going to let it grow out without training any further. Don't know how well it will produce but I am not worried as long as I get viable pollen. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Last week went well. She has been stretching some still but only adding to the top bud mass. She has a beautiful dark purple coloring coming from the bud and bleeding to the leaves now. I'm very surprised by how much she has grown from the start of flowering. Her color surprised me the most. Am reversing a branch so I can get pollen from her in hopes to pass the purple on as well as some of the resin production the strain is known for. Glad I didn't remove her. She is going to be a treat for me to watch grow. Until next time happy growing to everyone! 5/27- colloidal silver worked to create male parts for feminised pollen. Will be moved to isolation until pollen is collected and branch is removed. Will update as she progresses. For Question P.S. colloidal silver application started once preflower began 3 weeks ago! Not after buds were already forming. And the application was on one single isolated branch that won't be smoked!

Trying to reverse this branch for feminised pollen. Does this look like a purple nanner?

There seem to be balls/and or seeds developing there, can't quite tell. As long as it made new stuff after the silver application, and you can clearly see some balls (and/or seeds developing)...then it should be okay, but it's gonna take a while for the seeds to develop if it did.

No. Forcing sex reversal needs to be started when the first primordia/pre-flowers appear. Once your plant has buds forming, it is too late to do anything and getting male flowers/reversal on the buds like in your pictures just won't ever happen. Personally I would advise against smoking/consuming any buds treated with colloidal silver. While the risks may be small, you only have one life and vaporizing or ingesting colloidal silver may be harmful to your health. I wouldn't risk it. It is preferable to start a "sacrificial" plant for reversal, a cycle before you grow the female plants that you want to pollinate. Pollen will stay viable for some months if stored in a cool and dark place with a stable temperature, once the pollen has dried. Do not put the pollen in the refrigerator or freezer, this can destroy the pollen due to the atmospheric moisture in these appliances. If you only have a small amount of pollen, it can be "cut" with two thirds of corn flour to extend it and still not lose any rate of pollination. I have found a very small paint brush with short bristles the best tool for applying pollen to young fresh buds, too much of the pollen will stick to Q-tips/cotton buds. Seeds will need about 5 weeks to mature properly, so pollinating the female flowers quite early is preferable and if a few branches are done, it will provide a few hundred seeds easily. Remember to tie something on the fertilized branches so that they are easily identifiable at harvest time. Hope this helps,........... Organoman.

Last week went well. She is going to be mainly one big cola with minimal side branches. Good pheno for SOG. Colloidal silver application started once preflower began and continued for 3 weeks. I appreciate people trying to help out with questions and issues. But some people act like everyone growing but them must be stupid. I wouldn't have attempted to reverse a branch if I didn't know what to do for proper results. Also colloidal silver was applied with branch isolated. The question involving the reversed branch was to confirm what I saw. Should be able to collect pollen from her in a few weeks. Going to keep her away from anything else so no issues occur. Just going to keep giving her TLC and I will be waiting for the opportunity to get some feminised pollen for autoflower crosses. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Last week went well. She is coming along nicely. Her buds are filling out and the colloidal silver branch seems to be close to dropping pollen. Can't wait to see what I end up with. Got a bunch of different strains from great breeders going to make crosses with. Not much else happening yet. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Those are all male flowers. Seeds take 4-6 weeks to grow and mature after you pollinate the female flowers. For this reason, pollinate early, as soon as the female you intend breeding from has small tufts of white pistils, usually around 2-3 weeks after flowering begins. If you pollinate 4-10 lowest branches, this will give you 50-400 seeds. Pollen can be mixed 50-50 with corn flour to extend it if you only have a limited amount. Use a small paint brush to apply the pollen and make sure there is no wind. After an hour you can spritz the excess pollen with plain water to kill it and this will prevent having many thousands of more seeds that you never intended. Remember too, if you breed with pollen taken from an hermaphrodite, the seeds will be hermaphrodites too. If the pollen is coming from a pure male (no female flowers present at all), the seeds will be regular seeds, with a 50-50 chance of being male or female, and will not be feminized. This is also the case if you were to use the pollen from an hermaphrodite, a 50-50 chance of being either male or female. Feminized seeds are made through a chemical mutation process, and not by using "normal" pollen, but a chemically reversed female plant that is genetically altered to grow male flowers. Hope this helps,............ Organoman.
