Week 3 stretch is done and they're becoming tough to measure. But they're Big, from the 5ft 6in Mandarin Cookies to the jumbo Gemstone 7ft 6in by 6ft wide. Power Puff Girls continues to lead in flower growth and it needs to hurry as its all I can do to brace up the remaining branches against splitting. So lucky there haven't been any serious storms recently. Defoliation continues daily and more Gemstone tie downs were added. Each of the 3 potted gals took in 35gals of water each this week! Nutes are a touch above full strength and mid week was a plain water and Mass Microbial flush.

@TrickOrTrip, thanks I appreciate the comment π It's risky starting ahead of the end of frost date but they are a hardy plant. The 2 I left outside appear to have withstood the 2C temps no problem. Looking forward to some Heat!

Itβs a lot of fun and a lot of diligence to get them to grow into giants like these; but the gamble and effort is worth it when you get to pull in a huge crop at the end ππ€

Not gonna lie I am 1) Jealous of the patience to veg 16 weeks I've only gone as far as 10, 2)The fat stalks with bark and the presumed harvest at the end. This is ridiculously awesome!

@linassof, Advanced Nutrients are added to the water at the max recommended amounts. I'm only fertilizing the plants in containers with 100% Promix. Typically watering 2 or 3 times a week dependent on rain and temperature. The 2 plants in soil are feeding off a layer of dry fertilizer and compost. π
