my son want to help me and let it fall on the ground.. I just lst her a little bit to get some space between the main stems for later... but 2 of the branches crack opened at the main stem jonction.

Dr zymes eliminator might be worth checking out. Organic spray that can be used the entire growth. Can't remember if they combat aphids but I used it for power mildew and some other bugs and it did the trick after 3 uses.
