This is the 6th seed of Ayhuasca Purple I have germinated, out of 6. That gives me 100% success rate with this company and strain...I have 4 more left but I have faith they will all be wonderful.
Forgot I had an album in my phone for this current grow, she's been getting at it. Like to add this is a space tub/bucket build. 150watt led grostar with 16' of led daylight stripping, 2 80mm intakes, and a 120mm exhaust.
This plant was topped exactly seven days ago. It has made a great recovery and is growing heavily horizontally. Showing a possibility for 4 main colas. I'd like to add this plant has lights above and LED strips on all four sides, along with multi directional air current. Because of her heavy new growth she will be flipped to flowering On May the 1st.
This is after 7 days in flowering. Little cluster of leafs starting to form, slight smell. I believe it's done stretching, just gave it the first flowering feeding. I have pulled 2-3 leafs everyday to promote growth at lower bud sites
Finally have some noticeable bud formation, with multiple nodes producing up each stem. Topping was definitely worth it, as I have multiple colas competing with two "mains" causing me to raise my light 8 inches in just under a week.
I have lightly defoliated the lower 5-7 inches of the plant. This is still in a space tub retro grow. Being grown in a space smaller than 18"x 20"x 4'.
It was given a flush then two days later it's first full flowering feeding with big bloom organic.
She is doing great, I amended the top 2-3 inches of soil with Happy Frog. Nice sour pine smell. Want to emphasize this is a budget/ stealth grow. This was done with $100 USD (not including nutrients and seed) and some TLC.
So this is a space tub grow, other than the above head light it has a 3500k led strip running around the sides(around 4 meters) is it worth keeping this lighting? I'm only running a 150 watt growstar led ufo, which is fine for my canopy but my bottom isn't nearly as dense.
Pulled her out for a flush, was like fighting an octopus while take a selfie lol. She getting real frosty and the smell hits you as soon as you get anywhere near the grow. Have a minor calmag deficiency, but was expected, so she was just given some CalMag along with her feeding. Looking like around another 4 weeks til chop.
The trichomes are starting to turn milky at maybe 5-10% milky, started RO water flush this week.Ill be harvesting in 2 weeks, which will have me right in line with breeders recommended growing time/flowering time.
Took a small sample bud to help get my drying area temp and rH all ready before the whole harvest goes in.
I hope she gains a little more weight before harvest but even a half ounce would put me at breaking even with local prices.
This is a $100 dollars in 100 days( not including seeds) stealth build and it has gone wonderful. It shows even someone on a budget can make a decent grow area. While I'll be renovating my closet after this harvest it has been a great learning experience
Would a black strap molasses brewed tea help my buds add weight? I'm using only Fox Farm Trio and CalMag with reverse osmosis water, pH @6-6.5.
While I have atleast 2 weeks left I'd like to get the most weight possible, if there is anything I can do this late in flower that is.
Yeah molasses is about the only thing you can do, but I woudn't stretch this either, just clear water last week. Next time start sooner and check what parts of grow you can better to maximize yields.
Not much has happened other than growth and trichome production this week. I have a magnesium deficiency that I started curing a little too late. Live and learn I guess. Would like to chip July 4 so dry and cure can be good before my birthday in August but I'm not going to rush it. Good luck out there Gromies 🌲🔥🌲🔥🌲🔥
If anyone can see the third or fourth picture there is a decent shot of a deficiency. It's some immobile nutrient like Ca,Mg,Fe,Cu, ect. I just can't figure it out, been supplementing with CalMag fog almost 2 weeks? Any suggestions? Possibly Cu deficiency?
I guess I messed up but here is after a 5 day dry and going into only medical dispensary containers I'm reusing. It has kept it's fruity stench and has yet to turn grass or hay smelling which I'm happy with. I pulled 60.5 of wet and ran it through for bubble hash, unfortunately I agitated too much and got a green hash and 2 grams. I jarred another 17 grams dry and have only smoked the trim which was a nice sativa head high.
I'm happy for my first grow and learned alot.
