1 week from germination! Did some adjusting on my light... changed from 60-90% intensity. Misting with a sprayer every other day. Soil was getting pretty dry so added some extra water today.
Using humidity controller connected to humidifier and 4” inline exhaust.
Karen is a little slow but Lily and Autumn looking good.
New growth is really starting to come quick!
Moved two of the seedlings to 5gal smart pots with FFOF and dynomyco. They didn’t even flinch and have had no transplant shock at all.
Having a hard time keeping the tent warm in my cold basement but as long as night temps stay over 60 im not too worried.
Inter-nodal distance is so small, should I top or just LST with the scrog net?
Got the scrog net up and doing some very slow LST. planning on tryin to spiral main stem around the pot and eventually weave through the trellis.
Watering every 2-3 days in a circle around the plant. Not filling up whole pot yet. New growth looks great!
Canopy was looking uneven and bushy, so did some light pruning and LSTd the branches down again.
Put DE down again to fight the gnat problem.
Only about 5-6 dead gnats on the sticky pads.
Anyone seen leaf damage like this before? 6 weeks into veg in FFOF. A few fungus gnats but no real infestation. Not adding any nutes yet. Really concerned as the plant is looking less green and more yellowy than it did last week.
Plants have been a little finnnicky lately. Seem to like CalMag so going to do that every watering. Have been steadily pruning and shes about 2 inches shy of the scrog net. Once she grows past it im gonna start tucking and then flip!
After feeding calmag and grow big she’s so much happier! New growth is nice and green and is drooping less frequently. Looks like I need to up my watering schedule to about 2L per plant every 48 hours.
Now the big question… when do I flip!?!?
I’m worried that if I wait too long it’ll overfill the scrog net
Exactly 1 week from light flip to 12/12.
Starting to do about 25% grow big and 75% tiger bloom with some calmag. Going light on the nutrients since im seeing burned tips.
Saw pistils for the first time today!! Looks like she’s figured out the light change. I did a light defoliation as well to open up budsites to more light.
14 days since flip!
Little bit of stretch this week. Still tucking into the scrog once each top gets tall enough. Found a polyploid and removed it, which was sad because it was quite a thick branch.
Found an old leaf with some big problems but hoping it was from a previous calcium deficiency. Lesson learned, feed calmag!
Hey dude, I wouldn’t worry about it at this stage of the plants life and there’s no need to go giving cal-mag. It’s just the plant directing everything it has to the buds. This is a good thing.
End of week 3!
Pistils are pushing in all available bud sites, and I did a fairly thorough defoliation to allow light to hit lower sites. Starting to see trich creation on the tops. Fed 6.7 ph to try and correct some imbalance issues
4th week of flower done! Targeting 6.5 ph this week. Not overdoing watering has been keeping rh low and unplugged dehumidifier.
Plant on right has some deficiency lockout. Not sure what, but seems to be getting better. Both plants are starting to show a little bit of pink on the leaf tips as well
Week 5 of flower done! Finally getting some trich shots. Really excited to see how the calyxes form. Some purpling of the leaves and pistils now
ISSUE: recalibrated my ph pen and it was off by about .5 ph. Might explain the deficiency issues ive been having. After I fixed the pen im now seeing some pretty bad toxicity. Tips of the leaves are dying and falling off. Going to stop feeding grow big and only use Calmag and Tiger Bloom.
Starting to smell fruity!
This week has been slightly concerning. The left plant is getting a lot of tip burn so I trimmed them up to better keep track of the progress. Ive switches to feeding every 3rd watering and im diluting my solution significantly. Seems like both are fading evenly to yellow and pink coloring.
Starting to smell dank, and hairs are turning orange. Leaves are yellowing on the bottom and dying off which is a bit worrying. But hopefully not too long left!
Week 8 of flower complete.
Really starting to smell like fruity, funky, and pine. Mostly orange pistils but pushing some new white ones out of the top of the buds. Going to wait until they thicken up before harvest.
Back to feeding every other watering. Just calmag and Bloom. Feeling impatient :)
Sooo impatient. Thinking that it’s time to chop one of the plants either in 2 days or 7 days at the latest. breeder recommends 55-63 days of flowering and its been 63 days since flip.
Smelling funky, chunking up, but calyx trichomes are not totally cloudy yet
Chopped one of the plants! Gonna let the other swell until next Friday. Absolutely reeks in my basement right now. Very pleased with the initial results!
I fucked up my first grow so badly but actually got some decent sized nugs from the purple pheno!! Clogged my fiskars just trying to trim the fan leaves. Smells like sweet, funky pine. Looks fantastic. Wish the green pheno was half as good as the purple. Cant wait to give this strain another try and see how I can improve!
