Moby Dick

2nd run with Moby Dick from Dinafem. Haze x White Widow genetics 9 weeks Flowering Mostly sativa Viparspectra 600w Led for the light. BioBizz AllMix. BioBizz Root Juice (4ml/l). 1 liter pot.

Développement très satisfaisant des deux plants. Les troncs sont déjà bien épais et les feuilles d'un vert profond. Rempotage des deux plants dans des pots de 11 (12eme jour)l. Arrosage (4ml de Root Juice/l) après rempotage dans des pots préparés quelques jours avant. Les racines étaient bien développées et descendaient jusqu'au fond du pot. Both moby are doing well. Growth is fast and strong. The trunk of the apex is already about one inch long. The lateral branches are thinner with an important inter nodal space. Pinching of the apex to promote the growth of lateral branches. Always impressive for me to see a hole forming but the plants recover quickly. Under the net the trunk folds easily without breaking (even there I thought it had broken several times ...). I just have to find a way to water everyone now ...

The Scrog seems to work. Buds gradually fill the net. This technique requires a lot of work (1 to 2 hours a day). Another disavantage : watering, back pots are difficult to access. The apex of the back pots have reached the branches of front pots which causes a problem of space. Plants are still vigourous and healthy. D.32 Start of the flowering phase 12/12 🙏

The flowering week went well. The strecth of Moby is impressive. She could fill the growth box on her own. The OG Kush stuck between them and the Sharks look very small. I try to place the flowers as best I can on the surface of the net. The first pistils appeared ... see more ..

2nd week of flowering and still no problem with these Moby Dick. Stretch is strong, the lady need some space. No deficiency or disease problem.

End of the third week of flowering. The stretch is not finished yet. Still 2 or 3 days I think. The Moby seems to me in good health. No sign of deficiencies or diseases. The buds are growing day by day and the trichomes have begun to appear. There is a large inter-node space of about 6 or 7 cm, with problems of light penetration at the bottom of the buds. I'll wait until the stretch is finished to remove some leaves.

No special problem for this fourth week of flowering. The stretching period of the Moby Dick was a little longer than that of the Shark or OG Kush. That's why I preferred to wait for PK 13/14. I began to defoliate a little, the buds begin to fill little by little. The two apices are already well bloomed and begin to cover with trichomes. The smell remains discreet.

5th week of flowering. Stretch is almost over now. Buds are becoming bigger every days. Pretty happy for the moment.

6th week of flowering. Trichomes are now covering leaves and buds. Moby Dick is a very impressive strain and a real pleasure to grow.

I add a little bit of PK 13/14 from canna to boost a bit flowering. Buds becomes big and full of trichomes. Nice Snowy look ; ) This strain definitively need more space to give it full potency.

7th week of flowering. Things are getting interesting now. Trichomes are covering the whole buds. Moby Dick seems frozen. Trichomes check on day 51. One week more before harvest is needed.

Last Week before flowering. Trichomes are most of them milky and some amber. They smell like tropical fruit with a (big) twist of lemon. Buds are dense and sticky. Even if i left too many pop corn buds harvest will be very nice.
