OG Kush

stephandjo 2nd run with OG Kush from Dinafem Lemon Thai x ChemDawg genetics. 8 weeks of flowering. 75% Indica / 25% Sativa Viparspectra 600w Led for the light. BioBizz AllMix. BioBizz Root Juice (4ml/l). 1 liter pot.

stephandjo Very good development of the two plants for this second week (Day 12). The leaves are a pretty green and seek the light. Repotting in 11l pots for both plants. The roots sank to the bottom of the pot.

stephandjo Pruning of both plants. My first attempt at FIM. I tried to leave more or less 20% of the bud. I hope I have not been too clumsy. Wait and see..

stephandjo Both plants are doing well. No sign of deficiency or illness. No trace of mold with yet humidity levels of more than 80%. One plant (OG # 1) is less developed than the other. The branches are thin with an important inter nodal space. The leaves are as big as a hand. I pinched the trunk to slow apical growth. Then I started feeding the net; )

stephandjo The Scrog seems to work. Buds gradually fill the net. This technique requires a lot of work (1 to 2 hours a day). Another disavantage : watering, back pots are difficult to access. The apex of the back pots have reached the branches of front pots which causes a problem of space. Plants are still vigourous and healthy. D.32 Start of the flowering phase : )

stephandjo The strecth of OG Kush is less impressive than that of Moby or Shark. The leaves are much darker than the other two strains. May be an excess of nitrogen, I find that in addition they make a lot of leaves. The spaces between the nodes are short, the lateral branches are also thinner than those of the neighbors. The smell they give off is a real pleasure.

stephandjo 2nd week of flowering The stretch is more moderate than for Moby or Shark. Both are looking good with no evidences of deficiencies or diseases.

stephandjo End of the third week of flowering. For OG Kush the stretch is over. Some leaf tips, the highest, seem a little burned (a few mm). I stopped the BioGrow at the beginning of the week. I went up a few centimeters my lamps to avoid a light burn. I also redirected my fans to prevent drying them. I'll wait a bit and see if the nitrogen stops changing things. Maybe a cal/mag boost ? I keep an eye on it. I started removing some leaves to facilitate the passage of air and light. I keep the tallest leaves and I remove some leaves in the middle of the plant. This treatment does not seem to stress it. Trichomes are at the rendezvous and become more numerous each day. Beginning of PK 13/14 to 21st day of flowering (1 ml / l). Water every 4 to 5 days with about 2.5l.

stephandjo End of the fourth week of flowering. The stretch being finished and the buds starting to grow, I added a little PK 13/14 to the OG Kush soup. The buds start to look like good big sausages ... A bit of defoliation here too to let the LED lights illuminate the buds of the lower floors.

stephandjo Last week of blooming for the ladies. Only water till 7 days. Trichomes check, already a lot of amber. It's time to harvest. Harvest was faster than planned, 53 days, maybe the hot temp.
